About: Hi there! I am a firm believer in treating pets like family and showing them nothing but love. My pets can do no wrong in my eyes and I know what it’s like to worry about them when I’m away from home. I am an attentive and caring and have loved having pets my entire life in addition to a few years experience petsitting dogs and cats back in California and Oregon. I also spent time caregiving for the elderly and looking after their pets was a big part of the job. I am open to caring for any type of animal! About: I have a medium-large dog at home (around 70 pounds). I feel comfortable walking dogs of any size as far as they like. I have a grassy area outside my apartment that I can take your dog to whenever needed. I am available to dog sit over night on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I’m available throughout the day on weekends and Thursdays. I’m used to taking care of a dog (feeding, walking, playing, grooming), and I’d love to be able to again. The only restriction I have is my apartment complex’s rule go no pit bulls, german shepherds, or siberian huskys. “I’d never used the app before but loved how easy it was for Sam to keep me updated both times he visited to walk our dog. Our dog is an old boy and can be a little defensive at times, and pretty slow-moving, but Sam was super patient with him. Sam walked him for a full 30 minutes and from what I can tell, he just let our dog take it slow, sniffing (and peeing on) all the things along the way, which is his absolute favorite thing to do. I’d recommend Sam for sure, and will ask him back if we ever need help with our pets again!”
About: I have had dogs growing up all of my life! I have a special place in my heart for dogs and I have volunteered with animal shelters and taken care of neighbors and families dogs. I am a Pilates Instructor and never work more than a 4 hour block so I have plenty of time in my schedule to help with pet care. About: Hi there! I've recently reactivated myself on Rover after a bit of a break and am looking forward to meeting your dog! I live in the Gunbarrell area with a fenced back yard (4ft high). I have an 7 year old terrier mix (female) that lives with me. I provide my doggie guests with a family like experience, meaning they come where we go (trips to McGuckins, dog parks, local breweries). Safety is really important to me and I will make sure to have eyes on your dog while they are in the yard and out in public. I can ensure that your dog will receive lots of belly rubs and snuggle time. Your dog will get a 45 minute walk once a day (lunch time and potentially again around 5:30) M-F and on the weekends I will bring your dog to the dog park (if they like that kind of thing) or a hike as well. I've got familiarity with all sorts of dogs - from grumpy and quiet to hyper and playful. ** Please note that I ALWAYS want to meet your dog at my house before I will confirm your booking. ** This helps me ensure that they will get along with my dog and will mind their manners in my home. If your dog does any damage to my furniture or my home it is expected that you (the owner) will reimburse. - If your dog has shown any aggression in the past to people or other dogs (growling, biting), they will not be a good fit here. - Does your dog have separation anxiety? I am home and with the animals a majority of the time. But, there will be occasions that I need to leave the house for an errand or a few hours. Your dog must be ok with either being in a kennel (that you provide) or will stay calm while I am gone. I will be working from home every day in December and January and have no plans to travel over the holidays.
