About: I’ve had the joy of growing up around animals my whole life including four cats, two of whom I cared for through their senior years, a sweet pug who lived to 15, and my current dog, a spunky Australian Shepherd that I trained myself in both behavior and fun tricks. I have hands-on experience with both puppies and older pets and I understand how to adjust care to fit their energy levels and needs. Beyond my own pets, I’ve also cared for a wide variety of breeds and temperaments through pet sitting from energetic puppies to shy seniors. About: I’ve volunteered at shelters and have professional experience caring for dogs of any size or breed. I have also owned and cared for dogs my entire life. This includes basic needs such as walking, washing, feeding, playing, and training. I am currently unemployed and my schedule is completely open. Any day, morning or night. Your dogs needs and entertainment would be my top priority. I am always home so your dog would never be left alone and would never be bored. I have plenty of toys for them and have a big yard for them to run around on far away from any road. I am also able to bathe them before they return to you :) I have 2 dogs that live at my parents house that I would gladly have come over to play with your dog/s if wanted. Both are extremely friendly.

About: I have done pet sitting for 2 months at one time all the way down to a weekend, drop ins, walks, and very basic training. We also adopted our dog when he was 4 months old. I am available to pet sit on the weekends and do drop ins during the week. I do work full time but have off Fri-Sun. Which is why I’d give your dog my full attention only on the weekends, hence my availability. If you need longer then a weekend, I would be more then willing to, if you are okay with the pup being alone while I work I have a very friendly pup who loves to play. He needs the socialization and will be an excellent companion while your dog is in our care.

About: I pride myself on being honest, reliable and trustworthy. I’ve loved dogs since I was a little girl. My first fur baby was a basset hound named sunshine. I regularly help my friends and neighbors with their pets, have a large yard for running and playing. I am active, enjoy the outdoors and have easy access to dog parks. I also love cats. I’m currently a homeschool mom and have plenty of time and extra hands to help care for and welcome four legged friends in my home! I have a large partially fenced back yard for running and playing as well as access to walking trails and dog parks. I am home a lot and have a flexible schedule.

About: Growing up in an "animal family" I'm completely comfortable around all sorts of animals, especially dogs. I've had my pooch for 6 years and she's my world, I'll treat yours just as well as I treat mine. I work an afternoon job for now but I'm looking for something to do with my mornings! If you needed boarding, my husband is home before I leave for work so the animals are never home alone! Sundays through Tuesdays I'm home all day. I have a dog at home who is happy to keep yours company. I prefer to walk dogs every few hours, and I will usually let them run around with a ball on leash in a designated pet area too. I'm open to adjusting if you or your pet have certain preferences as well. Lake Louisa State Park is a favorite place of mine to walk dogs to expend some energy.

“We would highly recommend April to take care of your pet. She stayed in our home for almost a month with our senior dog. We were out of the country and she communicated with us almost daily to let us know how our dog was and also by sending pictures. She had to give her medication and eye drops every day. She is a very caring, compassionate and trustworthy person.”
