“Lauri was amazing. She was wonderful with my dogs, including my senior who has health issues and takes medications. She gave me frequent, comprehensive updates, and sent plenty of much-appreciated photos of my fur babies (and even of my aquarium and flowers). She took excellent care of the household generally, followed all my instructions/requests, and was very professional and communicative. The dogs were lucky to have her. As a house sitter and drop-in option I pride myself on cleanliness and organization of a home and efficiency in getting your dog the most attention possible during my visits and stays. They will get plenty of bathroom/get outside breaks and I will be sure to play with them until they are well worn out. I am sure make animals respect household guidelines of homeowners and training guidelines for being out in the world. I always have a kind and loving demeanor towards animals and have experience with animals of all sizes from gerbils and bunnies and horses and donkeys.

About: I've been a dog owner most of my life and also have two grand dogs and a grand cat who I care for often. I'm experienced with any age, any sized dog and regularly walk two dogs at a time. When can we meet? I'm looking for a way to meet more dogs when away from my grand dogs and want to walk / and exercise more while providing a trustworthy option for your pet(s)! Inclement weather doesn't matter if your pet doesn't mind it. I'm already an experienced and trusted house sitter, plus dog and cat sitter (and can care for houseplants & yards too). About: ***PLEASE READ FULL PROFILE PRIOR TO MESSAGING/BOOKING :)*** *HAS FULL TIME JOB *DOES NOT ALLOW PETS IN BED AT NIGHT DURING DOG BOARDING- PETS EITHER NEED TO BE BED OR CRATE TRAINED OR COMFORTABLE SLEEPING IN ANOTHER SPACE ALONE. *MAY ASK FOR MEET & GREET PRIOR TO BOARDING *REQUIRES VET RECORDS FOR BOARDING *DOGS ARE KEPT SEPARATE TO START & AS NEEDED — my dogs are 50/50 with other dogs and are typically kept separate to start. My house has ample space to separate dogs if need be, but still allow for comfortability. Both my dogs are comfortable with different personalities. I judge on a case by case bases if it is safe to allow any boarded dog to meet my dogs. --- My name is Samantha & I have watched after animals for as long as I can remember. Whether my parents were going out of town or friends needed someone to watch their pup while they went away, I was always the girl they would call! I’ve had 8 dogs, 2 cats, a Guinea pig, and a hamster in my lifetime both growing up and in my adulthood, so it’s easy to say I love animals and enjoy taking care of them! I also continuously foster dogs whenever I am able. I have experience with all sorts of dogs; big and small, medical cases, human reactive dogs, dog reactive dogs, geriatric dogs, and many more! My specialty is boarding dogs that others may stray away from due to behavior concerns. But keep in mind, if I do not believe I am a good fit for your dog or vice versa, I will honest for the betterment of the dog :) I previously volunteered with a dog rescue for 2 years, and have acquired knowledge on force free/fear free positive reinforcement training as well as canine behavior through their certified behavioral specialist. I do have a regular full time job, but no matter my schedule, I make sure I have ample amount of time for walks, play time, and fun. Both my personal dogs and boarded dogs are my number 1 priority. **PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: MY DOGS: I currently have a older dog named Calvin and a younger dog named Belle. Please see their profiles for more individual information. VACCINATIONS: Your pup must be up-to-date on all vet-recommended vaccines, and be free of fleas and ticks, and cannot have any contagious illnesses including kennel cough and intestinal parasites. Please provide your dog's up to date vaccination records upon drop off. This is very important for the safety of my own pup and my other dog guests, thank you for understanding! DROP-OFF/PICK-UP: Please note that I do have a full time job so evening drop off right after work is preferred. This gives me ample amount of time to get your dog acquainted to my me and my house. Hard drop-off and pick-up times please! :) This is easier for both your schedule and mine and doesn’t leave room for misinterpretation. although my work schedule is more rigorous than most dog boarders, due to working full time, my personal and boarded dogs are always my #1 priority. I will treat your dogs the way that I would appreciate any dog sitter to treat mine. I am not around all day, 24/7 like some sitters, but I can promise you they will be loved and cared for the way I care for my own. I board multiple dogs at a time and am familiar with all types of breads and personality traits. I have plenty of room to keep up to 4 or 5 dogs separate from each other but will still allow for plenty of space to roam and feel comfortable.

“Alex housesat for the weekend, watching our Rottweiler, Bennie. She kept us up-to-date with photos. Bennie looked both engaged and comfortable enough with Alex to just relax. Made me feel completely at ease. Will book again. Highly recommend.”

“Linda and Steve are the most wonderful, kind and respectful pet sitters you could ever dream of! They looked after our 2 cats and 2 dogs with the same care and love as they were their own. And we came home to a perfectly clean home and calm pets, which is priceless. We leave our pets and home without a single worry. Highly highly recommend this wonderful couple.”

“I was in a last minute pinch for a weekend trip and Josh came through. Josh took great care of my two pets and made sure they were well taken care of and loved. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a sitter.”

About: I am a loving, kind person. If I could I would save the entire pet kingdom. Some people say I am a dog whisperer. I’ve been taking care of my furry friends since I was a little girl. Your pet will be treated as if it was mine. I will make sure to provide the best care and protect your baby the best possible way. I am a proud owner of a Mini Aussie - Koda and a Black Cat - Joe. Few years ago I said goodbye to my best trio ever. They were all senior doggies. First I’ve lost Koko (17 years old Maltipoo), second heartbreak was 13 years old Pitbull - Woofy, third 15 years old Chihuahua - Choochoo ! All were the most important furry babies ever! I will always carry this horrible hole in my heart after the BIG loss. I’ve decided to join Rover to fulfill my purpose of helping others with their loved ones as best as I can, so we both know they are in good hands while you are busy with your obligations. I am here for you and for them. I understand how important our four legged friends are, and I will make sure we are all happy at the end of the busy day. We can go for long walks, we can stay home, we can relax or play! Whatever it takes for you and your pet to be comfortable and completely satisfied. I am here to help! I have plenty of time since I’ve moved back to Michigan and looking for a job. I know I would be happy to do something I love, which is taking care of your furry friend (s). I have a fenced large backyard. I have a cat and a dog. They are both extremely friendly. If needed they can be separated from a pet I do take care of.

Cori D.
“We have 4 rescues (3 dogs and 1 cat) which means 4 different personalities and backgrounds. Our dogs are very timid, not to mention extremely anxious and are deemed difficult at times; they require a lot more nurturing, guidance, and attention (they can be very stubborn). Cori has helped us out on many occasions and our dogs are excited and react to her well when she comes; they show no resilience. She is very caring, not just for her own animals but for others as well! 10/10 recommend her for all your needs!!”

Grosse Pointe Woods pet parents share their Rover experiences
Breanna was fantastic! First, I thought it was very reassuring that she does a meet and greet as well as writes down what we spoke about for reference. Also, very flexible! We went back and forth a few times with dates which ended up falling through on my end and she was very kind about it. When caring for my animals i received many pictures and updates throughout the day. I have struggled to find trustworthy and communicative rovers and sitters in the past as my dog takes daily medications for seizures and is on a strict schedule which I am very particular about and Breanna definitely eased my anxiety with this while i was away. When I came home both dogs were happy & healthy as when i left them. Thanks again Breanna, would recommend to anyone.

My boy is a high energy Vizsla & I’ve never left him with someone new so was a little nervous to leave him. Sarah exceeded my expectation! Had last minute meds she had to give him & last minute fence getting put up & she handled it all perfect. Pretty sure Boone likes her more than me now!

Elliot was great with both my super-affectionate dog and my relatively shy cats. He was also able to pick up my dog's medication when the vet's office didn't have it ready until after I already left town. It was a relief to have someone like Elliot taking care of my pets when I was far from home!
