About: I am an Animal Science graduate from UCONN with lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, reptiles and more! I have many years and experience giving all types of animals medicine (Orally and IM). Dedicated to providing safe, loving, and reliable pet care. I'm currently pet sitting part-time! I have lots of flexibility to be able to visit during work hours, weekends and more! Happy to work around many different schedules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions to keep the pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible!

About: Hi, I’m Clara! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny parrots to towering horses—and I’m confident handling everything in between. I have experience with: • Puppies and young dogs (training, socialization, and lots of patience!) • Caring for a dog with frequent seizures and special health needs • Working at a large dog rescue in Mexico, rehabilitating street dogs with behavioral and medical issues of all sizes • Administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions • Senior pet care with extra attention and gentleness (my dog is epileptic so I know how to administer all seizure meds and the full protocol) • Basic training and reinforcing good behavior • Horse care from years of working in barns (feeding, grooming, handling) • Volunteering for a year at a parrot rescue, learning about specialized bird care I’m active and outdoorsy, so I love taking energetic dogs for runs, hikes, or long walks—but I’m just as happy giving older or calmer pets plenty of snuggles. Safety, compassion, and keeping your pets happy are my top priorities, and I’ll always send plenty of photo updates while you’re away. I’m currently completely open and very flexible with scheduling. I’m not working another job right now, so I can adjust to your pet’s exact needs—whether that’s early mornings, late nights, or last-minute bookings. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, pets must be friendly with other dogs, as I have my own, and everyone’s well-being is a top priority. We have a fully fenced yard for safe play and fresh air, and I love going on regular walks to keep pets happy and healthy. I’m very routine-oriented, so I’ll follow your pet’s feeding, exercise, and care schedule exactly as you request—whether in my home or yours. I make sure each animal feels secure, loved, and stress-free, with plenty of supervision, enrichment, and affection.

I currently have ample time to help your dog while you are away from the home. I am available most weekdays as well as weekends. I will care for your dog at your home as if they were my own. About: I have been handling and training dogs at daycares, puppy and adult day schools, and pet stores for over a decade, and I’m currently working on my certification through the Karen Pryor Academy for professional dog trainers. I prioritize safety and the use of positive reinforcement to keep dogs physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy, and I particularly enjoy helping fearful dogs become more calm and confident with clicker training. Right now I’m in the process of writing a business plan for my own company, so my availability is wide open for the time being. I am gentle, but firm and consistent. I use treats and other rewards paired with a marker to reinforce and shape the behaviors I want, and will use ‘time outs” to enforce necessary boundaries. Your dog will not pull me or get away with problem behaviors, but I also make sure not to be scary and to spend more time rewarding them when they do well. My home now has a large area with a 4ft chain link fence and a smaller potty area with a 6 ft stockade fence that exits from the basement for jumpers, puppies, and reactive dogs. I’m 20 yards away from a system of trails that I can use to hike dogs, as well as being in a neighborhood that can be used to work on distractions.

About: I’ve cared for a variety of pets over the years—from cuddly lap cats to energetic pups. I’m reliable, gentle, and always focused on keeping pets happy. Originally from Massachusetts, I now spend most of my time in Connecticut. When your dog is with me, you can be sure they’ll get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I enjoy visiting parks, walking paths, and trails, and I’m happy to match any dog’s energy level—whether they love staying active or prefer some cozy cuddle time. I’m here to provide loving care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and even light cleaning if needed. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’d love the chance to spend quality time with yours! During the week, I have a lot of flexibility working remote so I can be around in the mornings, afternoons or evenings. Additionally, on the weekends I am almost always available! I will treat your home as if it was mine. I am clean and professional and will follow any instructions provided for your dogs needs.

About: I worked at a vet clinic and have experience boarding dogs and other animals. I've grown up with animals, 6 dogs total, and extensive work with farm animals as well. I'm dependable and haven't met a dog I don't get along with. I have reliable transportation and am very flexible with my hours. I also am experienced in bathing dogs and brushing their teeth, as well as some basic training. I can transport dogs as well if you would like for me to take them to a dog park. My home is extremely animal friendly and I will always do my best to treat your pets as if they are my own. Plenty of spoiling, within reason of course! All my pets are vetted, well socialized and very well taken care of. I have fairly open availability with minimal conflicts. Any pet in my home is not left unattended for more than 6 hours at a time and only if absolutely necessary. I have a fully fenced in pen in the yard with multiple water bowls/buckets available. I have a fully finished heated/cooled basement to keep animals separated from my own or each other should that be necessary.

About: Ever since August 29th of 2018 I've been a mother to my beautiful dog named Daisy (Yorkipoo). If only she could speak, she would probably let you know that I'm always up at the crack of dawn to make sure that shes able to go outside and do her business and then as soon as we get home will I make her breakfast for her as well. I'm a very attentive person when it comes to taking care of animals in general to be honest. I'll always make sure that the animal is OK before taking care of myself. I can promise you that you can not go wrong with hiring me. Only thing that I do require is for whoever hiring me, to be OK with me bringing my dog Daisy, since I do take care of her full time. At the moment, I am taking time to just relax and focus on myself, so that means that I am fully available with no limitations! I will ensure to follow all the rules, treat your pet(s) like they were my own pet(s), make sure to show them lots of love & affection - unless of course they would hate that lol.

About: Throughout my life I have been surrounded by pets. I have cared for my multiple pets that I’ve had in the past from dogs, to cats, to fish, and snakes. I have looked after family and friends pets, before with great pleasure and happiness. At the moment I currently am available 7 days out of the week. I am free mornings, evenings, and nights, I am very flexible. I will always meet you and your lovable pet with a smile. Also the prices are always negotiable Whenever I pet sit I love bringing dogs to parks and playing with the animal(s). I believe that just as we like to stretch our legs, that dogs love running around and seeing the great environment of parks and their friendly neighborhood. I myself personally love exercise so walks and runs with your pet, and playing fetch, if it applies will be no chore to me. Pertaining to my family, they love pets and have had many before so when I board your loving pet they will be in a lovable environment.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I've taken care of them from when they were babies until old age. I've been training my family dogs since highschool. I just finished up a masters degree. I'm currently searching for jobs and have plenty of time to take care of cats and dogs at the moment. I have a fenced yard with a friendly dog who loves making new friends and a cat that will either hang out or just do his own thing.

About: I have loved animals all my life. I’ve never not had animals in the house, both cats and dogs. I’ve dog and cat sat a lot! I have a dog named Millie who is so sweet and great with other animals. I have 2 kids ages 5 and 6, they also love animals and are loving while being respectful of their space. Providing love and care for your furry friends would be such a fun experience for my family and I. If you need check ins or walks I also have a reliable vehicle to come provide care in your neck of the woods as well 😊 My schedule is pretty flexible. I am usually available everyday of the week and weekends! Due to the fact that we have pets of our own, we have made sure that pet care has a well reserved amount of time out of our day. Our dog Millie is one of the most social dogs we have ever seen and gets along with all animals, so during the stay your pet will have a built in best friend. Any special needs or care instructions are respected and followed of course. All animals are fed separately so there is no need to worry about any food aggressions!

We have gates and crates if needed to make sure all the animals are kept safe

About: I'll be honest, I am doing this because I need extra money. But I want to make extra money spending time with your pets because I love being around animals and I want to spend actual time with them giving them love, exercise, and a good time. I am able to spend actual time with them as I am a teacher and do not work during the summer. Animals deserve to be shown affection as much as possible throughout the day especially when a lot of their time is spent waiting for owners to come home. Don't let your pets wait around for you, give them someone to hangout with in the meantime! I love taking dogs on walks and hikes! I know how important it is for animals to be cared for meaning being fed, bathed, and given a good rubbin. If you have any questions, feel free to ask (: I am a teacher on summer break so I am fully available for your pets! I love to take them for walks and play with them. I care for pets by taking them for walks and to the bathroom based on their schedule at home. I love to play with dogs and give them rubs. I love making new dog friends.

About: I have had dogs, various other pets, and have rescued quite a few wild animals throughout my life. My large immediate family always counts on me to watch their animals when they go on vacation. My son recently bought a house with a nice yard and he took his dog with him. As you can see from the photos, that dog and I spent a lot of time together. I still make his food from scratch and take him for hikes as often as I can. I make my own hours and now that I do not have a dog around pushing me to walk the town, several times a day, I feel this is a good fit to keep me active. I have a lot of experience with a 90lb nervous pitty, and have a number of safe and private locations in mind for walks. I also have a large crate and access to a large yard if needed. I genuinely care for Animals and will put in the effort it takes to ensure each unique personality has a great experience.

Caroline A.
“Caroline is one of the best Rover sitters, that I have left my pets with. Considering I have 2 rather large labs, finding a sitter can sometimes be daunting, this being said I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter to not only take care of them for the weekend; but provide them with a safe environment. Caroline also sent me photos of my 2 pets a few times a day. I would definitely recommend Caroline to sit your animals!”
