About: Hi there! Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. My background includes working as a veterinary assistant, years of hands-on pet care experience and working as a K9 handler. I understand that every pet has unique needs, personalities, and routines, and I strive to provide care that keeps them comfortable, safe, and happy while you're away. I have experience with high energy, senior, special needs and more. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members. I provide dependable communication, plenty of photo updates, and attentive care for dogs, cats, and other household pets. My goal is simple: to treat your pets like they're my own and give you peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your pets! I’m so excited to share that I now have FULL TIME availability for pet care! My calendar will be up to date so reach out for any help you may need! I can do daily or weekly walks and drop ins every day with no time restraints (unless I am booked). I currently do not have room to have your pet stay in my home, however I am more than happy to come to you whether that is for a walk/playtime and mealtime or for an overnight stay! I am more than happy to bring anything with me extra you might need or not have.

About: Hi! I’m Jen — a lifelong animal lover with over 4 years of hands-on experience working at an animal shelter, plus many additional months caring for dogs and other animals on a small farm property. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting/boarding and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: every animal I care for should feel safe, so very loved, and understood. I structure my day to include regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, exercise, enrichment, and downtime, depending on each pet’s needs. I’m home for the majority of the day, which allows me to provide a high level of supervision and attention. Pets are rarely left alone for extended periods, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to support different energy levels, routines, and personalities. Whether a dog needs more activity and engagement or a calm, low-stress environment, I’m able to tailor my day to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I care for every pet based on who they are — not just a one-size-fits-all routine. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and comfort cues so pets feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities, including dogs who need a little extra patience or structure, and I pride myself on creating an environment where pets can relax and just be themselves.

About: I've taken care of many of my friends pets, dogs and cats when they are away. I absolutely love doing it! Pets are part of the family! I am currently working part time doing instacart so I am on the road and can stop whenever I need to let them out or take them on a walk. I am also starting school this summer so I will be available after classes as well. I usually stay over at my friend's house whenever they are gone to watch their fur babies. So they feel comfortable and safe in there own space.

About: I’ve always dabbled in pet sitting for the fun of traveling and meeting new breeds. Now that I’m semi - retired, I've discovered a new joy in providing care without the pressure of outside responsibilities. Having nowhere else to be means I can spend hours with your pets, letting them set the pace on our walks, and offering endless cuddles, allowing me to form trusted connections with every animal I watch. It is not that pet care fits into my life as much as pet care IS my life. It is breakfast, walk or read (depending on the species), groom, pet, games, naps, then dinner and repeat until bedtime. In follow the outline provided by the pet parent to work through the pet’s familiar daily routine. For dogs, I emphasize exercise and with cats, I emphasize stillness. For both, we find a compromise 😂

About: Hello! I’m an avid pet lover that is extremely responsible when It comes to my animals so I will treat your pets just the same. I have a trustworthy background in law enforcement to help assure that your home would be safe in my hands as well. I have a very free and open schedule so I can absolutely work around anyone’s most times only on occasion does something come up for me. I would be so upset if my pet wasn’t treated right and/or lost or let out, so I will do my best to make sure that they are well loved and watched. This is the same for house sitting, safety is a must.

About: I'm 36 years old, I love animals and recently got out of the Navy. My family has four dogs back home, kimchi (pitbull lab mix), Indy (German shepherd mix) Louis and Rene (daschunds), and three cats that we rescued (Jiji, Cleo and Smokey). In high school I worked as a kennel worker at a veterinary hospital for 2 years and love working with animals. I’ve spent some time volunteering at local animal shelters at different places I was stationed with the military. I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes and would love to take care of your pets while you’re away. I’m available for house-sitting, drop in visits and dog walks. I work nights from 8 pm-6:30 am, I’m off 7 days/6 nights in a row every other week, feel free to reach out and I’ll let you know if I work any of the dates you’re interested in. During a week where I work, I would be able to come back to your pet in the morning and feed them breakfast/either go for a walk or hang out a bit. Afterwards I would sleep from roughly 8:30 am-12:30pm. When I wake up at 12:30 I can offer your pet a midday walk/potty break/or just some one on one time. Around 3 pm, I may take a 2-3hr nap, but otherwise I will be free from 12:30 pm until I need to leave for 8 pm shift. If you have questions/concerns with this schedule I’m more than happy to answer them. When I am off I switch back to a normal daytime schedule will be able to spend the day/night with your pet. When watching your pet, I’m there for your pet. If they want to hang out and do nothing, we’ll do that. If they want to go for walks, hikes or adventures, we’ll do that. I can accommodate myself to fit your pet’s needs.

About: Just recently, I lost my beloved dog of 16 yrs and I am not ready to become a dog parent again. Since then, I have traveled across the states dog/ house sitting via TrustedHousesitters platform. I have an extensive experience with high energy breeds such as GSPs, setters, springers, vizslas,etc. I am an active person who hike a lot, therefore, possibly looking for dogs who need exercise. Also love to hang out at home and enjoy the company of an easygoing dogs. Love reading pets personalities and watch them. I am recently retired and my calendar is open. I teach an hour fitness classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I prefer long house sits and walking. I do not have a fenced yard but live on a quiet street near the river. If your pup loves to swim, perfect for a hot day. Willing to travel to your place to take your pup for a walk or to spend a few hours to play.

About: I grew up in a large family with many pets. We had five dogs and two cats growing up, and I have had my own pets since. I’ve had multiple dogs and cats over the years, though I just moved back to Washington, so I have no pets at the moment. I currently have open availability and am able to provide visits or stay over at clients homes to care for pets. I’m able to arrange arrival and departure to fit your schedule. I am able to fit whatever needs the client has. If your pets are accustomed to being out and about in the home, I can spend time with them that way. I also am able to use kennels for feeding or sleeping if that’s what they are used to. I’m comfortable keeping things tidy and making sure it’s a safe and clean space for them to hang out.

I usually take them out every half hour just for exercise or fun as well as potty breaks (which is a good way to break bad marking habits for ones training). If it's a nice day usually we are outside all day playing and walking teaching the ones who are still in need of guided assistance. Which actually makes things way easier on me. Unless of course it's just to hot to be out side. Rainy days are our lazy days or indoor activity days. Lots of cuddles and loves. My personal fur babies are not kenneled but I do have kennels for ones who prefer it. It's whatever makes them happiest. Or feel the safest. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with one ever.i know when to back off or come in for loves. Mutal respect is the best policy I feel.
