About: Hi! I’m Jen — a lifelong animal lover with over 4 years of hands-on experience working at an animal shelter, plus many additional months caring for dogs and other animals on a small farm property. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting/boarding and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether a dog needs more activity and engagement or a calm, low-stress environment, I’m able to tailor my day to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and comfort cues so pets feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. About: Hello! My name is Abbie, I’ve lived with a dog since I was 6 years old and have many years of care for dogs, cats, bunnies and farm animals! Many friends and family have trusted me with their precious animals for house sitting, walks, feeding and care. My desire is to serve you and your pets in a safe, comfortable and fun environment. I am currently working part-time and I’m very flexible in my schedule. Most weeks I’m able to be present for partial days and nights. I have a chill Golden Retriever at home with my family who love’s company and making new friends if your pet is up for it! If not, I love having time to get to know a pet in their own home. About: I've been taking care of not just my own pets, but my families and friends since I was around 11! I got my first dog and cat around 6, and was responsible for feeding, walking, playing, and cleaning up after them at around 10. I also watch my friends cats often when they leave town, and take care of my older relatives pets when they need it! I love both cats and dogs, and I will make sure they get a lot of pets!! About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs for over 15 years while they are out of town. Not every dog is the same or needs the same amount of care. ***I won’t accept a job unless we are able to do a meet and greet ahead of time.*** I work from home so my schedule is really flexible. I can make most requests work for your needs. Being patient with older dogs is not a problem! I won’t take care of a pet unless I do a meet and greet first and make sure we are a good fit and I understand what you want and how you take care of your dogs so I can do the same.

I have experience administering medications and can help reinforce training skills for younger and older animals. I currently work part time during the week. However my hours are flexible based on the frequency you need me to check in on the animal(s). I can do check ins through out the day and stay over night all nights of the week as needed. I worked at a pet store for roughly 3 years, and have a strong knowledge of training, nutrition, and overall all dog care. I am the go to dog sitter for all of my friends. I will always treat your fur babies as if they were my own, with endless care, love and affection. I work from home full time and have a pretty flexible schedule. So I have plenty of time through out the day to play and exercise the dogs. I will always follow any directions given regarding your pets. Your pets safety and happiness is my first priority. Walks will always be taken in safe areas away from traffic and busy roads.

About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat, but he is chill and warms up easily. If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. We help each other out! Only excepting smaller to medium sized dogs for new clients currently. I do not have a fenced yard and keep all dogs on a leash whenever I am outside. They are able to run free in my home though!

About: Hi, my name is Hailey and I’m 28 years old. I am currently going to nursing school full time and I am trying to make some extra money on the side to support my family. My husband and I have had our one dog(Kota, female) for 6 years now and another dog(Ash, male) for 4 years. I also have 2 outdoor barn kitties and 8 chickens. I love to homestead, grow my own veggies and read in my spare time. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. Abuse is not a form of training in my mind, I believe any animal can be trained as long as you put the time and effort into them.
