About: I have always grown up having pets of various kinds including dogs, fish, small frogs, and hermit crabs. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs because I believe they often get overlooked when they deserve a high quality of life, too. (Last year, my family lost our rescue dog of twelve years.) I have also had the experience of working with farm animals throughout the course of my life through participation in a junior farmer’s program, when I was younger, and then acting as a returning volunteer and frequent visitor ever since. I am particularly familiar with raising and caring for chickens. Any chance I get, you bet you can find me learning about, observing, or spending time with animals! I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish. I will be moving to Enumclaw, WA full time in the late summer/early fall. Until then, I am spending a few weeks staying in the area. In the upcoming year, I will be job searching for additional part-time work to start saving money while researching graduate school programs in the meantime. So, that being said, I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am willing to find what works best with your own! About: I had a Shiba Inu for 11 years and took care of her medications and treatments for cancer for 3 years. She was an escape artist so I’m used to walking dogs every 8 hours on a leash. I work for a school and have a typical 8-4 schedule when I’m at work. I take dogs on long walks after and provide puzzles and games for enrichment. I have a fenced backyard yard. My kitchen, living, and dining room are all pet friendly. I have a medium crate if your dog is crate trained.

Not every dog is the same or needs the same amount of care. ***I won’t accept a job unless we are able to do a meet and greet ahead of time.*** I work from home so my schedule is really flexible. I can make most requests work for your needs. Being patient with older dogs is not a problem! My evenings are reserved for more exercise/walks/fetch and plenty of one-on-one snuggles to wind down. I prioritize clear communication, sending you photo and text updates throughout the day so you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing. We live on 2.5 acres so there is a lot of room to play fetch and get lots of exercise. It’s mostly fenced so I am happy to take dogs on leashed walks if preferred. We live in a large house which dogs are welcome in and will get lots of attention from my 3 year old son. We do have a cat (Boba) which is very friendly and stays in her own room at night so dogs have the rest of the house over night.

About: Hi, my name is Hailey and I’m 28 years old. I am currently going to nursing school full time and I am trying to make some extra money on the side to support my family. My husband and I have had our one dog(Kota, female) for 6 years now and another dog(Ash, male) for 4 years. I also have 2 outdoor barn kitties and 8 chickens. I love to homestead, grow my own veggies and read in my spare time. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. Abuse is not a form of training in my mind, I believe any animal can be trained as long as you put the time and effort into them. Doing this creates a stable and loving relationship between you and that animal.
