My husband and I have had our one dog(Kota, female) for 6 years now and another dog(Ash, male) for 4 years. I also have 2 outdoor barn kitties and 8 chickens. I love to homestead, grow my own veggies and read in my spare time. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. About: I have had dogs in my life ever since I was born all ages from puppies to seniors. My 7 years of experience are in regards to the care of other peoples' dogs. I started with walking the neighbor dogs and now have done multiple house sitting and drop-ins. I enjoy being outside so I'm used to long walks and even runs along side pups. For walks, I'm available before early mornings and late afternoons on weekdays and weekends. For sitting, I'm available most weeks and I work hybrid so I'm often available to work from anywhere as long as there is WIFI to spend more time with the pets. About: I have about an acre of land for your pups to run and play! Fully fenced yard (multiple) so they are always contained. I'd love to watch your fur babies whether it's for the day while you're at work or for extended time while you're away! I have always been around dogs and other animals including cats, bird and small critters. Growing up we always had at least 3 big dogs. I now have my own pup who is also a large dog. I previously worked for a vet clinic as a veterinarian assistant for about 2.5 years and have also worked as a pet goomer. So overall I have about 10 years of personal and professional experience walking, feeding, bathing and caring for dogs and other animals! I am also K-9 CPR certified! Drop ins for caged animals and cats only. I have reptile experience (we own a chameleon and iguana ourselves). I work from home 3-4 days out of the week depending on the week. When I am at work my husband is home so your pups will almost never be home alone. 🤗 If you choose to board with me or have your pet attend daycare, I own a home that is on about an acre of land and has 3 separate fully fenced yards for them to safely roam and play. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting/boarding and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I care for every pet based on who they are — not just a one-size-fits-all routine. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and comfort cues so pets feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. About: Hi, my name is Hailey and I’m 28 years old. I am currently going to nursing school full time and I am trying to make some extra money on the side to support my family. My husband and I have had our one dog(Kota, female) for 6 years now and another dog(Ash, male) for 4 years. I also have 2 outdoor barn kitties and 8 chickens. I love to homestead, grow my own veggies and read in my spare time. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. “We interviewed three different people before choosing care for Woody’s first stay outside of our family. Woody is 3 years old, leash-reactive, a little naughty and stubborn at times, but overall a very sweet, playful, and affectionate dog. We specifically needed someone confident and experienced—someone who could comfortably handle a strong leash puller, stand firm with his stubborn streak, and not be intimidated by the behaviors we openly shared ahead of time. Bryan immediately stood out. From our initial conversations and the meet-and-greet a few months before the stay, it was obvious how comfortable and experienced he is with dogs. He approached Woody calmly and confidently, walked him on leash with ease, and demonstrated a handling style that instantly put us at ease. He also asked thoughtful questions about Woody’s behaviors that showed both understanding and competence in managing dogs with quirks and challenges. Bryan and Peggy have a wonderful setup for dog care: a secure fenced yard, a clean and comfortable home, and a quiet neighborhood with wide sidewalks and plenty of space for walks. One thing we especially appreciated is that they only care for one dog at a time, which is uncommon and was exactly what we needed for our Velcro dog. They also have several green spaces within walking distance, which we loved. At drop-off, Bryan took inventory of Woody’s belongings, reviewed my notes, asked thoughtful questions, and spent time playing with Woody in the yard to help him feel comfortable before we slipped out. It made for a calm, low-stress transition, and we were impressed by the level of care and attention he showed from the very beginning. Throughout Woody’s stay, Bryan sent daily updates with photos and videos, along with notes about Woody’s temperament and how he was doing. As nervous dog owners leaving him for the first time, we greatly appreciated the communication and reassurance. Over the course of the six-night stay, we could visibly see Woody becoming more comfortable and playful with Bryan—fetching balls, wagging his tail, smiling, and zooming around the yard. Overall, we would absolutely feel comfortable having Woody stay with Bryan again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for calm, confident, experienced dog care. Excellent communication and exceptional care from start to finish.”
