About: Hi there! Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. My background includes working as a veterinary assistant, years of hands-on pet care experience and working as a K9 handler. I understand that every pet has unique needs, personalities, and routines, and I strive to provide care that keeps them comfortable, safe, and happy while you're away. I have experience with high energy, senior, special needs and more. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members. I provide dependable communication, plenty of photo updates, and attentive care for dogs, cats, and other household pets. My goal is simple: to treat your pets like they're my own and give you peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your pets! I’m so excited to share that I now have FULL TIME availability for pet care! My calendar will be up to date so reach out for any help you may need! I can do daily or weekly walks and drop ins every day with no time restraints (unless I am booked). I currently do not have room to have your pet stay in my home, however I am more than happy to come to you whether that is for a walk/playtime and mealtime or for an overnight stay! I am more than happy to bring anything with me extra you might need or not have.
“Juan came by to take care of our kitties and it was perfect. He was communicative, respectful of our house, and did everything exactly as we wanted. Definitely rebooking with him again for Kitty care.”

“Lolita took great care walking my two pups! I’m always a little nervous at first to find a new walker — but I felt so comfortable and at ease with Lolita. Will be booking again! :)”

About: My experience ranges wide from puppy training + care, all the way too administering medicine for senior dogs and caring for their special needs! I pride myself on ensuring the individual needs of each different pet are met, no matter what they may be! I currently attend Washington State University at the Pullman campus, and am currently home between the months of May and August. I am employed part time, but have plenty of extra time to devote to your fur babies! Safety & client relationships are a top priority in how I care for pets. I believe open communication between a sitter and client is crucial for peace of mind when allowing for someone else to care for your babies. I provide updates, pictures, and messages to ensure comfort on both ends. Honesty is key! I also take home safety seriously when visiting clients' properties. Locking all exterior doors, windows, and garages are a primary focus post-visiting your pet. I understand it may be nerve wracking to invite someone into your space with your furry companion, and I want to ensure I am treating your environment with the upmost respect and care.
About: As a lifelong animal lover, I share my home with two Huskies, Thor and Bird, along with two cats. Growing up around a wide variety of animals gave me hands-on experience with diverse breeds and temperaments. Additionally, my father is a veterinary surgeon with over 50 years of experience, which instilled in me a deep respect for animal health, safety, and proper care protocols from an early age. Highly flexible availability for in-home care, house sitting, and local meet-ups. While I cannot accommodate boarding in my own home due to my resident pets, I am fully available to travel to you. Message me directly to coordinate scheduling, logistics, and care instructions. For your convenience and peace of mind, I am available to provide care directly at your home or arrange meet-and-greets within the Maple Valley and Renton areas. To ensure a seamless experience, we can discuss specific scheduling, location details, and care instructions via Rover chat.
About: Hi! I’m Jen — a lifelong animal lover with over 4 years of hands-on experience working at an animal shelter, plus many additional months caring for dogs and other animals on a small farm property. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting/boarding and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: every animal I care for should feel safe, so very loved, and understood. Pet care is my primary focus, so my daily routine is built around providing consistent, hands-on care. I structure my day to include regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, exercise, enrichment, and downtime, depending on each pet’s needs. I’m home for the majority of the day, which allows me to provide a high level of supervision and attention. Pets are rarely left alone for extended periods, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to support different energy levels, routines, and personalities. Whether a dog needs more activity and engagement or a calm, low-stress environment, I’m able to tailor my day to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I care for every pet based on who they are — not just a one-size-fits-all routine. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and comfort cues so pets feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities, including dogs who need a little extra patience or structure, and I pride myself on creating an environment where pets can relax and just be themselves.
About: I have cared for a variety of animals while pet sitting in client homes and farms; my experience includes caring for up to 4 dogs at a time, 3 cats, turtles, and farm animals. I also care for kittens and young pups. I will treat your animals with love and care to ensure comfort and safety while their owners are away. I am available early mornings for feeding/walking/check-ins, most afternoons & evenings for care, as well as the weekends. I work during the week days until about 3:30/4. I work the public school calendar and have built in breaks and time off, including summers. I work to ensure your animals feel as comfortable as possible whether within their own homes or staying in mine. I understand the need to be calm and allow animals to gain comfortably around a new care taker. I will give them the space they need to "come around"; I take meal times, going out for potty & walks, as well as medication delivery and special needs seriously. I want pet owners to feel confident their fur babies are being taken care of with fidelity.

We have Luke, our sweet 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix, and Gabe, our 10-year-old cat. Our home is a pet paradise! I am fully comfortable and experienced in administering medications and monitoring special medical needs. Total Flexibility: Life happens! Whether it’s a last-minute business trip or a change in plans, I offer a flexible cancellation policy and welcome short-notice bookings. I have a flexible work from home schedule, so I have plenty of time on weekdays and weekends to care for your fur babies. I will always treat your home and your fur babies with love and respect during drop-in and walking visits. Under my care, I will give your pets my sole attention and ensure they are happy and loved while you are away.

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m very attentive to each dog’s routine and needs, whether that means regular walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply providing calm companionship. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, comfort level, and any specific instructions from their owner. I’m comfortable handling feeding schedules, walks, basic grooming like brushing, cleaning up after pets, and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need. I pay close attention to behavior and body language so I can make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care. My goal is always to make pets feel as relaxed and loved as they would at home. I also make sure owners feel at ease by providing updates and photos so they know their dog is in good hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I currently have a very open and flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day rather than rushing visits. I’m able to adapt to each pet’s routine and make sure they get the care, consistency, and attention they’re used to at home. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure every dog in my care is supervised, secure, and in a calm environment where they can feel safe and relaxed. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, routines, and any special needs their dog may have. I pay close attention to behavior and body language to make sure dogs are comfortable and not stressed. I also keep a clean and organized environment, remove any potential hazards, and make sure dogs are always handled with patience and care. When outside, I prioritize leash safety and awareness of surroundings to ensure safe walks. Building trust with both dogs and their owners is very important to me. I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing and can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and dependable experience for every dog I care for. 🐶
About: I have been a dog sitter awhile and have gained a lot of experience. I have done overnight stays, check ins, dog walks, and more. I have a puppy of my own and have grown up with dogs my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and more have trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, and play with them. Worked with many different dogs and various ages. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to come check in on the pups and play with them. My work schedule does change depending on the week but I am available every day of the week. I am free mornings and nights and would have time mid day to check in on the dogs. I have a fenced yard for my dog and I walk him twice a day so he can get his energy out. I would walk your dogs how ever much is needed. Additionally, I would make sure to check in on them multiple times outside of my other jobs to ensure that they are good and can be let out. I am comfortable making sure any necessary medication is given on time and that they are also fed at there normal times. I know how much pets need to play and I would love to play fetch and more with your pets!!
About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. I spent 6 years working in pet insurance and have gained a lot of knowledge about how to create healthy and safe environments for our animals. The key is giving them time to warm up to a new environment, routine care and lots of affection. My own dog turns 15 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I always treat every animal as if they are my own and would be honored to do so for your pet too. I spend the majority of my time at home, hanging out in the backyard and have a pretty flexible schedule. We’d go outside at least 5-10 times a day, always early in the morning and right before bed. I have a fenced yard on over an acre of land and lots of non-harmful plants that my dogs loves to sniff around. When the dogs are outside I will be right there with them enjoying the afternoon.

About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat, but he is chill and warms up easily. If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. We help each other out! Only excepting smaller to medium sized dogs for new clients currently. I do not have a fenced yard and keep all dogs on a leash whenever I am outside. You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
