About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat, but he is chill and warms up easily. If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. We help each other out! Only excepting smaller to medium sized dogs for new clients currently. I do not have a fenced yard and keep all dogs on a leash whenever I am outside. They are able to run free in my home though!
About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. I spent 6 years working in pet insurance and have gained a lot of knowledge about how to create healthy and safe environments for our animals. The key is giving them time to warm up to a new environment, routine care and lots of affection. My own dog turns 15 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I always treat every animal as if they are my own and would be honored to do so for your pet too. I spend the majority of my time at home, hanging out in the backyard and have a pretty flexible schedule. We’d go outside at least 5-10 times a day, always early in the morning and right before bed. I have a fenced yard on over an acre of land and lots of non-harmful plants that my dogs loves to sniff around. When the dogs are outside I will be right there with them enjoying the afternoon.
“Kacey was the perfect answer to giving our dogs a midday break while our friends were taking care of them. Kacey was the ‘dog whisperer’ and even got our boys to ‘pose’ for some beautiful photos! We are very thankful for Kacey and her loving care of our boys during their walks together. Thank you, Kacey!”

About: I have been a dog sitter awhile and have gained a lot of experience. I have done overnight stays, check ins, dog walks, and more. I have a puppy of my own and have grown up with dogs my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and more have trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, and play with them. Worked with many different dogs and various ages. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to come check in on the pups and play with them. My work schedule does change depending on the week but I am available every day of the week. I am free mornings and nights and would have time mid day to check in on the dogs. I have a fenced yard for my dog and I walk him twice a day so he can get his energy out. I would walk your dogs how ever much is needed. Additionally, I would make sure to check in on them multiple times outside of my other jobs to ensure that they are good and can be let out. I am comfortable making sure any necessary medication is given on time and that they are also fed at there normal times. I know how much pets need to play and I would love to play fetch and more with your pets!!

I'm currently living in Washington for the summer (im a student!) And so I have a lot of availability. I can pet-sit, walk dogs, or even just come and check in on your pets whenever works best for you! I have a lot of free-time while i'm here and would love to meet all of the dogs and cats I can!! (and other animals as well) I have my own family dog and cat that have been with me since age 6!! I have a lot of experience dealing with both. In your home I can feed on their schedules, change their water, play, walk, and clean litter boxes. I'll make sure that they feel happy and get lots of pets & play time!! About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have experience with daily care like feeding, walks, playtime, and following routines. As a teacher, I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to individual needs, which helps me care for dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I treat every pet like my own and focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment while keeping clear communication with owners. I work full-time as a teacher and am available for pet care after 3:15 PM on weekdays. I’m fully available in the evenings and can give pets my full attention once I’m out of school. I also have more flexibility on weekends and school breaks. I’m reliable about timing and will always communicate clearly if scheduling ever comes up. During summer hours I am very open! I don’t host pets in my home, but I’m happy to care for them in their own home or provide dog walks. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. About: 2 Story Home, fully fenced & very safe back yard. I am married with a dog (Lab) of my own. I take pride in our home and would do the same with yours, I don't mind helping with chores if needed as well. Dogs are family to us; we wouldn't want it any other way. Your dog would be treated as one of our own. You can rest easy knowing your dog or cat is being very well taken care of. I am responsible, reliable and honest. I do not do Rover pet sitting for the money, I do it to help others and because I absolute love all animals and truly enjoy being around them and caring for them, all ages and breeds! I started Rover after we took a vacation and found out firsthand how hard it is to find truly reliable people to pet sit. It was an awful experience and I wanted to change that for others. We need more passionate & responsible people offering pet sitting and I figured I would be part of that change. I want to contribute to our community and also reduce the number of animals which end up in rescues or shelters. Sometimes this happens due to lack of available care. We have a fully fenced yard (actually double fenced), your dog can go out or come in as needed. If you prefer to have your dog crated, just let me know your preference and adjustments can be made. Whatever makes your baby feel at home.
“Courtney was great! She helped me for a week by walking my dog while I was in town for work. She was right on time and gave me great pics of my dog. She also handled a behavior issue he has very well.”

I have a flexible work from home schedule, so I have plenty of time on weekdays and weekends to care for your fur babies. I set my own schedule so I can arrange my workday appointments accordingly around your pet's needs. For overnight or day visits, I have a fenced back yard with turf and two friendly pets to keep them company in my home. I will always treat your home and your fur babies with love and respect during drop-in and walking visits. Ultimately pretty flexible I have four French bulldogs and a bearded dragon at home. I take them on walks and bathe them as some of them have skin allergies. - 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
