I am more than happy to bring anything with me extra you might need or not have.

There’s also a dog park almost right in our backyard where we go to all the time. The area is residential and lots of families around that know us.

About: I'm 36 years old, I love animals and recently got out of the Navy. My family has four dogs back home, kimchi (pitbull lab mix), Indy (German shepherd mix) Louis and Rene (daschunds), and three cats that we rescued (Jiji, Cleo and Smokey). In high school I worked as a kennel worker at a veterinary hospital for 2 years and love working with animals. I’ve spent some time volunteering at local animal shelters at different places I was stationed with the military. I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes and would love to take care of your pets while you’re away. I’m available for house-sitting, drop in visits and dog walks. I work nights from 8 pm-6:30 am, I’m off 7 days/6 nights in a row every other week, feel free to reach out and I’ll let you know if I work any of the dates you’re interested in. During a week where I work, I would be able to come back to your pet in the morning and feed them breakfast/either go for a walk or hang out a bit. Afterwards I would sleep from roughly 8:30 am-12:30pm. When I wake up at 12:30 I can offer your pet a midday walk/potty break/or just some one on one time. Around 3 pm, I may take a 2-3hr nap, but otherwise I will be free from 12:30 pm until I need to leave for 8 pm shift. If you have questions/concerns with this schedule I’m more than happy to answer them. When I am off I switch back to a normal daytime schedule will be able to spend the day/night with your pet. When watching your pet, I’m there for your pet. If they want to hang out and do nothing, we’ll do that. If they want to go for walks, hikes or adventures, we’ll do that. I can accommodate myself to fit your pet’s needs.

With 25 years of personal caregiving experience and 15 years of dedicated training in animal husbandry, I have devoted my life to understanding and nurturing all kinds of animals, whether they are beloved pets or cherished farm companions. My approach is rooted in modern, scientifically-proven training methods that prioritize positive reinforcement, gentle redirection, and fear-free handling. I am committed to building trust, confidence, and safety in every interaction, and I truly believe in meeting each animal where they are emotionally, honoring their unique pace and individual needs. Above all, my goal is to create a nurturing environment where every interaction is restorative, joyful, and filled with unconditional love and patience. I understand the journey of coming out of your shell, and I strive to provide a calm, safe space where animals can heal, trust, and ultimately thrive. I also have experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, and adapting my care to meet special needs. Whether your animal needs gentle reassurance or playful companionship, I am here to offer compassionate, personalized care that respects and supports their unique journey. Pet care is a significant part of my life, and I have set aside time in my schedule to provide attentive and compassionate care on weekends, Mondays, and Tuesdays. I am available Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For an additional fee, I am also available to work on Wednesdays through Fridays starting after 9:00 a.m. I offer flexibility on weekends if extra care is needed, as well as overnight stays and holiday care upon request. By focusing my care on these specific days, I can give each animal my full attention, patience, and love, ensuring a positive and supportive experience every time we are together. Every pet deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their environment. Whether I'm caring for pets in my own home or in a client's home, I prioritize creating a calm, structured, and positive space tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets enjoy enrichment activities such as lick mats, playtime, and plenty of cuddles throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard with 6+ foot tall fences for safe outdoor play and private areas where dogs can rest undisturbed if they need a break from other animals. Every animal is welcome on the couch for snuggles and is encouraged to feel at home. I utilize gentle, positive reinforcement and maintain clear, consistent routines to help pets feel secure. For animals with fear, anxiety, or a history of trauma, I prioritize slow introductions, patience, and fear-free handling to build trust at their own pace. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, ensuring that pets' surroundings remain familiar and stress-free. I follow instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and behavior protocols closely, maintaining consistency and safety. I am also attentive to environmental safety—checking gates, securing leashes, and removing hazards—and I communicate regularly with pet parents to provide peace of mind. My goal is always to provide gentle, reliable care that fosters trust and confidence in both pets and their humans.

About: I am a pet aficionado. Since I was born my family has had seven Newfoundland dogs (2 at a time), a cat and two rabbits with the occasional fish. I take my dog to the dog park every morning, and love getting active and dirty with her. I have done childcare for sixteen years and taken care of the pets in others homes during this period. From chihuahuas, to horses, to the occasional corn snake and the everyday house cat, I truly enjoy all animals. Dogs just hold a special place in my heart from how social they are, their distinct personalities and all the stress relief from interacting with them, cats because relaxing with a pur or being entertained by a spaz is truly unrivaled and rabbits because their sassy demeanor and cuteness are so much fun. I am doing remote work and my schedule currently is variable as needed. Therefore, I can mostly accommodate the requirements of any client in this regard. I have loved animals since a child, adopting from farms and rescue agencies as well as coordinating with animal welfare organizations. It's genuinely something I enjoy and love to do. I have daily exercise classes for 1-3 hours I will be attending and occasional errands / personal affairs, please expect 3-5 hours potentially away depending on the day. Please note Rover has the settings for 1-4 hour windows of left alone time as the minimum for a purpose; 24 hours for extended periods (days to weeks) for 1 person is not feasible. I will truly spend as much time as I possibly can with your pet, however for quality assurance purposes, bookings expecting 24 hour supervision for the entire sit will not be accepted. Please note indoor cameras and recording devices are illegal in Washington state without 2 party consent. I will not consent due to the nature of my remote work and the jeopardization of my career / long term income. Outdoor cameras are fine. Supervision, double checking locks, bolts and other safety infrastructure and keeping all emergency contacts and expert animal/home security experts on hand. Also person and animal CPR certified. I can guarantee you will come home to a sparkling home, a happy pet, and everything in better condition than you left it. My goal is for you to come home stress free and leaving your animal loved ones in trusted and competent care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
