“My Shih Tzu absolutely loved Velma. He'd get so excited to see her he'd squeal. I had a foot injury and really appreciated that Velma always showed up on time and told me if my dog pooped, was scared by a cat or large dog or other things they encountered on their walk, like deer. She took really good care of my dog and I would highly recommend her to others.”

“Lifesaver! I’m so glad I found Vanessa, I would absolutely recommend to take care of your fur baby. Vanessa has taken care of my little man multiple times and helped me out last minute which I’m super appreciative for.”

About: I enjoy spending time with dogs and do not view this as a job. I go out of my way to make connections with all of the dogs I walk or care for. I remember the little quirks of each dog and make sure to implement that into my care to make pets feel more comfortable with me. I am funemployed and available this summer to care for your pets as I prepare to start law school in the fall. I am available days and evenings to accommodate for you and your family’s needs 🩷🐶🐱 I care for pets by being attentive to each individual dog’s needs and can cater to dogs (especially rescue dogs) that may have specific triggers or things that make them feel at ease.

About: I have cared for a myriad of animals, both personal and family and friends pets, since I was 7 (including hamsters, rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, and everything in between) I am a previous dog trainer turned SAHM who is looking to use my love of animals and skills to help some busy pet families while keeping up with todays ever rising cost of living. I have two medium energy, big, dogs personally, but have been around and cared for every size and energy level. I am now a fully stay at home momma so I’m flexible depending on what you are looking for for your furry friend. Any day or time (within reason). I’m home a majority of the time with the occasional errand or other outing so pets get to hang out with me and my family a majority of their time in my care. A majority of the time your pup will have full access to our fenced property and our house with us just like our personal pups do. There are occasions when they may be kenneled or separated when I care for our rabbitry or put my toddler to bed, etc. I will keep my pups and your pups separate upon request as a safety measure where animals can be seemingly unpredictable. If you are comfortable and would like them to have buddies to play with and a pack to enjoy then my two dogs are happy to oblige. My personal dogs are crated at night and works best to keep dogs overnight only if they are crate trained as well or at the least can be okay with sleeping on their own. We have a baby boy who loves animals but is also learning to be very respectful of them so pups that are comfortable around kiddos is a must.

It is a great way for me to stay busy and active! I have a fenced yard with a friendly 6 year old black lab and cat in the home. I love to take dogs on walks and play with them!

About: I have been pet-sitting since I was in early high school and I was beyond thrilled every time my friends, neighbors, or family would entrust me with caring for their furry family member. As a lifetime dog owner and pet lover, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you know will take good care of them. With my lifetime of experience, ranging from puppies to elderly dogs, I can guarantee that your dog will be cared for with the love and diligence they deserve! I'm currently a graduate student working in my summer internship. I have a lot of availability Wednesdays-Sunday but am working on Mondays and Tuesdays. On the days I am available, I am dedicated to giving your pet the highest quality of care. When at your home, I will adhere to all of your instructions and the needs of your pet. I know how important routine can be for a pet, so I will follow that routine to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable while they have a stranger visiting their home. Whatever your pets needs are, I will fulfill them!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats, including my own, for as long as I can remember. I have trained my pets as well as other's in basic obedience. I like to study dog psychology and I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from tiny-huge and fearful-calm temperaments. My favorite breeds to care for are large breeds, most specifically breeds like pitties, rotties, and dobermans, but I love all dog breeds too and love how every dog has their own unique personality. I've also cared for cats doing volunteer work and have 2 of my own. I'm currently available anytime of the week all year besides the few times per year that I travel. I am working to potentially have a career with dogs. For care in the client's home, I will do whatever is instructed to me to be done for the pet. I am good at reading dog body language and understanding their needs. I've cared for fearful/avoidant dogs and hyper/clingy dogs alike. I am not able to provide care in my own home since I live with family and own 2 rescue cats.

“Our big dogs can be a lot to handle sometimes but Adam does great! He makes sure they are well taken care of on their walks and they always look happy in their pictures. They get a good amount of exercise in and I appreciate that Adam adds some extra details in his visit summaries.”

I prefer cat care to be honest and have never met a cat I didn’t love. I have a miniature zoo in my house so I am constantly taking care of animals in my home from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed. At a clients home, I would follow all care instructions to ensure the animals safety.

About: I am Suzy I grew up on a farm in a small town. I just retired from being a private hospice caregiver. I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, pigs, goats and horses. I have had my own dogs and cats and started helping more with pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family. I have an alternative medicine degree and it has helped me not only in my personal life but also with my animals lives. I am good with dogs and cats that have high energy and separation anxiety. I am retired and this is the perfect opportunity to change careers and enjoy getting to know pets and help their owners out. I have open availability. Cuddles with cats and dogs brings me happiness. I am not in a position to have pets at my home. However in your home I am there to help your animal not feel alone by giving them the attention they need or what you have requested.

About: I have had dogs since I was 10 years old when I began showing them in agility through 4-H. I have two personal dogs who are wonderful adventure companions for my boys and I. I am a special education teacher. I am fully available during weekends, summer, and holidays. During work days I work from 8:00 - 4:00. I can run home for a potty break once during my scheduled work day as needed. About: Hi - my name's Brooke. I'm a huge animal lover. I've grown up around animals of all kinds and I spend a lot of my free time volunteering at the animal shelter and fostering both dogs and cats. I work with horses and I currently have 2 cats of my own. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your furry family! I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup / cats. In addition to walks and drop-ins in my local area, I also offer pet sitting overnights with my husband all around the US! I am also a military spouse, so I’m able to provide services on military bases as well! I follow the care plan outlined by the you (the pet parent), and always make an effort to go above and beyond with pictures, updates, and (for applicable sittings) extra walks! I care deeply for all animals and want to make them as comfortable and happy as possible.

About: I have been a housesitter and petsitter for years. I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
