About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always been the person friends and family trust to care for their pets. I have a Havanese named Pita who is my little adventure buddy. He’s 6 years old, about 16 lbs, and is a very friendly little guy who loves being around other dogs. I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and won’t be left alone during the day. I live in a clean, tidy apartment right off the Centennial Trail, so we love getting outside for walks and fresh air. Whether your dog loves adventures, playtime, or just relaxing and cuddling, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved like they’re part of the family while you’re away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine. Your pup will have plenty of company, attention, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Velma was willing to video chat in order to have a “face to face” prior to setting the booking, since we are not in her local area. About: Animals and animal care has always been my passion, I’m currently working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science and zoology! I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals and I’ve done a lot of rescue and rehoming! I love animals, from cats to fish, lizards and birds. I’m crazy about all of them. I’ve cared for babies and elderly of a lot of different species and I pride myself in always doing my best in taking care of all their needs. Ive got quite a few of my own babies at the moment but they’re all very friendly and adjust easily to new animals. I don’t currently work because I’m working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science/zoology, so I’m home 24/7 to care for my own pets and school, I have two crate trained dogs, five cats, two frogs, two birds, fish, and a hamster, so I’m basically always cleaning and playing or training one or the other! While I live in an apartment, we have multiple fenced dog parks and ample walking area away from the roads for walkies with the dogs, my apartment is pretty spacious especially in the living room and animals are allowed around the whole apartment. If I were to watch your babies at your residence I would stick strictly to the rules you set for me and never overstep your boundaries or rules.

About: Not sure why my profile says that dogs must be spayed/neutered, I honestly don’t have a preference. I have consistently had pets since I was 6. Cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, and turtles. I have also taken care of friends’ pets on a few occasions. Animals warm up to me quickly and seem to be drawn to me. I also tend to leave homes a little bit cleaner than I found them and I have been told that I am the best overnight guest ever, by my mom. 😁 My schedule is very open as I work from home and my work travels easily. I am available for short or long term pet and home sitting in your home. I prefer to meet you and your pet(s) at your home before I commit to staying. I would like to be sure that there is a connection between you and me and between your pet(s) and me. About: We have dogs, snakes, and a bunny. We have kept many different pets for the past 10 years and love caring for all animals! Even the grouchy ones 😊 Our dogs eat at 12:30 and at 6:30 each day with frequent trips outside. They are friendly and we keep them trained to eat only out of their own bowls. Pet care is daily life in our home (with my spouse) and we both take pride in our relationships with animals I will frequently check for assent amongst pets to ensure safety and wellbeing. If animals need to be separated, we live in our finished basement and work upstairs, making it easy to both separate and engage with all the animals frequently. Any instructions will be religiously followed. I am getting my masters in behavior analysis so I am ALWAYS aware of the dynamics of our animals and animal guests!

I've taken care of all types of dogs including german shepherds and high energy breeds, and have fostered several pups destined for service. I have two cats of my own. I am very experienced with pets and they get a lot of attention and companionship from me. I can walk dogs or play with ball for exercise. I sit or play with cats depending on their personality. About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.
