About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me pretty much my entire life, and I’ve always believed they’re part of the family. In our house, Pepper and Lily pretty much run the show! 😊 Pepper is our 8-year-old Maltipoo, and Lily is our 6-year-old American Shorthair cat. They keep us entertained, keep us on schedule, and remind us who is really in charge. I’m retired, which gives me something many pet sitters don’t have as much of — time. I enjoy being around animals and would much rather spend my day with a dog or cat than rush in and out between a dozen other commitments. Over the years, I’ve cared for the pets of friends, relatives, and neighbors. I haven’t done it professionally, but I’ve been a pet owner and animal lover all my life, and I understand how much trust is involved when you leave someone with your pets. A little about how I care for pets Every pet is different. Some want a long walk and lots of play; others are perfectly happy curling up beside you. I’m happy to follow their routine and your instructions — whether that means walks, meals at a particular time, medications, special attention, or caring for an older pet. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care in your home. My preference is house sitting because I think most pets are happiest in their own surroundings, with their familiar beds, toys, smells, and routines. I don’t offer boarding at my home because Lily has made it clear that she does not appreciate houseguests of the canine variety! 😄 Your home matters to me, too. This is something I feel strongly about because I’ve used Rover myself. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a kid. Recently I have started dog sitting for family friends and decided to join on here to offer my services. I’m currently working full time from 7am-3:30pm in office 5 days a week M-F. Within my work hours, I’m not available to do visits. Outside of these hours, any dog I care for will have my undivided time and attention. I take care of the pet I’m watching over by taking them on walks, play with them, and making sure they are well fed. I like to make sure they are well accounted for and treat them as my own.

About: I am a traveler who wants to spend weeks home with your pet!! I have owned dogs of all ages and know how to speak the language! Woof! I am extremely available when scheduled and will let you know otherwise. I make my own schedule so I am highly available when I am not traveling! Very flexible. Always honest about my availability and what I am able to provide. I am very good at reading what a dog needs and not lazy about it. Walk at 5 am? On it. Weird feeding times? Not a problem.

It was visible in the photos how comfy and content our pets were with her. She even did arts and crafts with them and took Letti to get ice cream. On top of all this, Bridget was watching our pets at a point where the cat and dog were getting used to living with one another, and she did a wonderful job giving them supervised interactions and continuing our socialization for both of them while we were gone. Skye did a great job! This was my first time really leaving my dog to go on a trip, so naturally I was a little nervous about how my dog would behave. My dog is a mixture of some pretty high energy breeds. Skye came by for a meet & greet and my sweet Sundae was loving all the new attention and affection she was getting and she was very reassuring that she was going to give her all the cuddles she could want! She sent me updates each day of my sweet girl soaking up all the extra attention and cuddles from her new friend! I absolutely will book her again when I go on any future trips! Alexandra watched my German Shepherd and senior cat while I was away for a float trip over the weekend. Even though she knew I would be in an area with limited cell reception, she took the time to send pictures and updates a few times a day so they’d arrive when I did have service. I could tell that my printed care instructions were followed because they were checked off and notes added where needed. Alexandra also went the extra mile and took the time to brush my cat, strip the bedding off the bed, and leave a written note before she left. Would highly recommend Alexandra as a petsitter!
Lauren was excellent! She arrived on time and sent updates on our pups as well as mail/packages that arrived while we were gone. She took great care of our girl and boy. I think they were both more sad she was gone than they were happy we were back! She was accommodating when our return was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances as well! She left our home clean and went above and beyond with washing towels and bedding before we returned. 10 out of 10 recommend Lauren for sitting!
It's always kind of nerve-wracking to trust someone to care for your pets and your home when you're away, especially when you've had some not-so-great experiences in the past. Jenna was so nice at the meet and greet and I felt optimistic when we left town. She was very communicative and considerate while we were away! She sent daily updates and photos so I always knew the dogs were in good hands. I always try to make sure we leave the house clean and tidy when someone will be staying at our house, and Jenna left it just as she found it! It was such a relief to come home to happy pets, and a clean home. I would highly recommend Jenna for housesitting, and I will definitely rebook her in the future!
