I was worried about being gone for a week but Kelly was very reassuring and capable. She came by every other day to check on them and play with them. About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats — for friends, family, and many clients through Rover — over the past decade. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them.
