About: I’ve loved animals my whole life! I grew up with my childhood dog. I have experience dog sitting including taking care of a puppy. I even lived with cats for 2 years while I was in college and I absolutely loved it. Now my husband and I have two adorable cats who have 2 different personalities. I understand that each animal has different personalities and needs which require customized premium care they need and deserve. I’m currently a retail worker so my schedule does change every week. I know my work schedule 2 if not 3 weeks in advance. Regardless I will make sure your pet(s) receive the upmost care. Whether you need me to drop in to check in on your pet or your dog needs their daily walk in the morning, afternoon, or evening, I’ll work around your pet’s schedule. I understand keeping your pet’s routine and stability is important to their health and wellbeing to keep them comfortable when you’re away. It’s all about the little things. Changing the water daily, finding your pet’s favorite toy, cleaning your dog’s wet paws off after a walk, providing extra cuddles, or just sitting in the room with your pet so they know I’m there. About: Born around lots of animals, including the GSD my mom bred many going to K9 programs and I would show them when I was little. Growing up, I was part of raising & training hunting dogs (Labs) & a seizure dog (Sheltie). As an adult I've had a GSD, Pomeranians and pitbulls (potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, basic commands like sit stay come - clicker method). I also learned some about senior care helping my friend who worked at Hearts United shelter for several years. I currently don't have any dogs, but have cats. I have minimal appointments (2 hour long weekly standing & sporadic others) and errands (school drop off and pickup) so I can be available to care for your pet nearly 24/7 Caring for your dog at your home, I would follow whatever routine, usual/best practices you have for them there. At my apartment, there is a large open grassy area right behind my building and a great walking/bike path, but it is NOT fenced so I would be taking out any dog myself on a leash. If I needed to leave my apartment for an appointment/errand and could not bring your dog along, I would want to crate to ensure there's no accidents while unsupervised in a strange environment.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old, consistently with one family when they go on vacation. I have 3 pets of my own. Then also attend zoo academy where I shadow and care for animals in the reptile and insect departments. I am a freshman at UNL so have a full schedule during the day. However, I am available after 4 on most days of the week. I do return to Omaha on the weekends. In my own home I am responsible for feeding my pets twice a day. In previous pet sitting jobs I go to homes to feed and clean the litter box as well as spend time with the animals. I have also spent the night at a house. About: Hi, I’m Ella! I’m a college student who loves both dogs and cats and have experience working at a doggy daycare caring for all types of breeds and personalities. I have plenty of free time and enjoy spending it walking dogs, playing with pets, and making sure they’re well cared for while you’re away. About: I grew up with pets my whole life. My family and friends have relied on me walk, feed, and house/dog sit when they are unavailable. My dog MJ, who passed in 2020, made one of the biggest impacts in my life, and if I can give more care and love to animals it would be very fulfilling. About: I’m Elizabeth and this is my baby-boy Umbra, a 3yr old Australian Shepherd. I love dogs, grew up with them, and when it came to purchasing a home, thought about my future dogs first… no, seriously! We have a large, fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. Just a block away, we have a lovely wooded area for afternoon walks. Experience - My husband Nathan and I have taken Puppy, Adolescence, and Obedience 1, 2, and 3 training through Greater Lincoln Obedience Club - I was an Assistant Instructor for Obedience 1 - Volunteer dog walker at the Capital Humane Society - I've completed Grooming courses 1 and 2 through Kenl Inn - Pet First Aid course through Kenl Inn - Pet Massage course through SCC continuing education Umbra's Story Umbra is a high-energy, working breed so we got him into dog sports! He loved Agility 1, 2, and 3 until the teeter totter became too scary. We switched over to Flyball and self-taught Dock Diving. Because of his health, we’ve swapped dog sports for trick and sniff training. To keep him active and social we frequent dog parks, Offleash Dog Bar, and dog friendly stores and restaurants. He comes with us everywhere he can, and we’ve taken vacations just for him! When Umbra was a pup, we noticed abnormalities with his eating patterns and stool. For a year, we worked closely with our vet and uncovered severe food allergies, gastroenteritis, and a vitamin deficiency. Thanks to a restricted diet including daily vitamins and probiotics his tummy is doing well! When he was neutered, hip laxity was discovered that would eventually lead to arthritic symptoms. To give him a pain free life as along as possible, we added another daily supplement, started weekly water therapy, and were instructed to administer a monthly subcutaneous shot (Nathan handles the needle). It was discovering his enlarged heart that put an end to dog sports, but he still lives a fulfilling life. Services Daycare offers a standard 10-hour stay at a set rate. Any time beyond this duration will incur additional hourly charges. Please contact us for specific pricing details on extended stays. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. My day is already structured to include a minimum of 3 exercise / play sessions a day for 30-60mins each. Umbra is well socialized and loves large and small dogs. He would love for your pup to visit! Your dog will receive plenty exercise and play, belly rubs, neighborhood walks, and approved outings and treats. We have toys, puzzle games, and snuffling and lick toys for them to engage with. If they need a contained break, we have crates and a playpen to block off larger spaces. You will receive lots of photos and the comfort of knowing your pet is well cared for. For dog's staying in their own home, just let me know their routine and any special needs.

About: I have had pets in my home since I was 5 years old and love caring for animals of every kind! For the past 5 years, I have extended my love for animals to my neighbors and friends. When they left town, they entrusted me to care for their plants, animals, and houses. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and cows! I am an engineering student and have class for most of the day. I have plenty of breaks between classes where I would have time to check on your pet (except Thursdays) and I am usually free at night. Next semester, my schedule is even more flexible with all classes ending by 1:30 pm. I cannot provide pet care in my own home, but I am flexible and a good learner, and I will communicate with you to ensure that your pets are taken care of the way you want them to be in your own home.

About: I’ve mostly cared for bigger dogs with a lot of energy. I regularly look after my friend’s pets as well as my family’s. I have a dog of my own, she’s very active and friendly. I’ve had her for over a year and learned so much about dogs from being a pet parent. I got to school part-time but I still have quite a bit of time throughout the day for check-ins. The weekends are best for boarding. I like to do dog walking throughout the week. I spend most of my time at home so I don’t mind hosting at my home but I’ll also do care at a client’s home. I do not have a fenced in back yard but I live in an area with a lot of parks and open spaces. I do spend a lot of time outside so I’m comfortable with going out for multiple walks a day. I don’t provide treats of my own unless the owner asks me too or if they tell me what they’re okay with their pet eating. I don’t give pets food I’m eating because I don’t want them to choke or they could get sick.

About: Ive taken care of animals since before I can remember. All pets are given all the love I have to offer. I’m very gentle with older pets and always do my best to make sure they’re comfortable and pampered. I've got more free time on my hands than I know what to do with; so it would be no problem at all to take care of your pets! I make sure pets get regularly taken out, as well as making sure they’re happy and fed. I also get a little silly and play with them for hours!

About: Hello! My love for pets has been from the very beginning as I grew up in a household that had a minimum of three dogs at all times. Currently, I have three dogs and two cats. Two of my dogs are seniors and one is a puppy. I have definitely gained experience with my senior dogs administering medication and monitoring whereabouts when it comes to jumping, needing to be pickup, frequent bathroom breaks, etc. My puppy is full of energy so I frequently utilize mental and physical stimulation to provide her with what she needs! I have a flexible schedule which allows for different pockets of time throughout the week that I would love to spend with other furry friends! I will use patience to build trust with your pets. I will ask questions and work to ensure that my care is as similar to the care they are used to when their parent is home.
