I’m retired so my days and evenings are open to care for your pets. My hours are very flexible. Time with your pet will be the best part of my day. About: I have taken care of all types of dogs from puppies to senior dogs since I was around 10 years old! I have worked with shy and anxious dogs, as well as super high energy friends! About: Most people babysit growing up, I was the local petsitter instead. Now I’m the go-to petsitter for my friends and colleagues, looking to help others! I have experience petsitting both cats and dogs! My main summer job is research, so the hours I’m available are very flexible. I make my own schedule so I can make myself available for most times! I’ve cared for lots of pets of varying age and need ranges, so I am equipped to do whatever is needed for pets to thrive while their owners are away. About: I’ve mostly cared for bigger dogs with a lot of energy. I regularly look after my friend’s pets as well as my family’s. I have a dog of my own, she’s very active and friendly. I’ve had her for over a year and learned so much about dogs from being a pet parent. I got to school part-time but I still have quite a bit of time throughout the day for check-ins. The weekends are best for boarding. I like to do dog walking throughout the week. I spend most of my time at home so I don’t mind hosting at my home but I’ll also do care at a client’s home. I do not have a fenced in back yard but I live in an area with a lot of parks and open spaces. I do spend a lot of time outside so I’m comfortable with going out for multiple walks a day. I don’t provide treats of my own unless the owner asks me too or if they tell me what they’re okay with their pet eating. I don’t give pets food I’m eating because I don’t want them to choke or they could get sick.

About: Growing up on a farm, I learned early on that every animal deserves patience and a steady hand. I treat every pet as an equal, whether I’m bottle-feeding a newborn kitten, training a high-energy dog to run alongside me, or simply sitting in the sun to keep a senior pet company. Because I don’t have pets of my own right now, my schedule is completely open. They get 100% of my attention, 100% of the time. Working from home full-time gives me the ultimate flexibility to provide your pet with constant companionship.I have dedicated blocks in the morning, at noon, and in the evening for long walks, play sessions, and feedings. Your pet won't just be 'checked on'—they’ll be part of my daily flow. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is maintaining their sense of security. I follow your 'house rules' to the letter to ensure their routine stays consistent. From refreshing water bowls and administering meds to high-energy play sessions, I handle every task with care. I also make sure your home stays exactly as you left it—secure, clean, and filled with a happy, well-exercised pet.

About: I've dog sat for various families over the years. I've house sat 3 different times, and have experience with senior dogs needing extra care (medicine, cleaning, etc.) I also have experience watching up to three dogs at once. I have family and friends willing to assist me in case of emergencies, as well. I know some dog first aid, including CPR and Heimlich. Once I graduate from college and finish my summer classes in September, my schedule will be completely open! I don't have any regular weekly commitments, so I can spend as much time with your pet(s) as needed! I like to spend as much time with pets as possible, even if that just means sitting in the same room as them while we each do our own things.

About: dogs are very important to me as i have been around them my entire life. i currently work at a dog kennel and as much as i enjoy cleaning up after and taking care of those dogs, i would love to have the opportunity to take care of more dogs outside of the kennel environment. my own dog is so very special to me. when i take him back to visit my parents, we have a total of four dogs running around! the smallest is around 10lbs and the biggest is around 85lbs, needless to say it’s crazy and fun! i currently work part time so i am very flexible with my schedule. i am happy to accommodate as much as i can to fit whatever needs you may have. i live in an apartment so as of now, i am not able to dog sit at my home. however, i am more than happy to commute to your residence to treat your dog as if they were my own. dogs have unique personalities and i am capable of accommodating special requests to make sure your dog is as comfortable and safe with me as possible.

About: Even in childhood, I've loved animals. I decided when I was very young that I wanted to make a career out of rescuing abused, disabled, and neglected animals who need help; I still think about this dream today, at 20 years old. For all my life, I've had a dog, cat, or critter to come home to. I'm willing and able to go on walks, though prefer not to walk too much on days above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or below 30. As far as I'm concerned, I'm willing and able to do anything your animal may need. I care about every animal companion, and will do my best to make their lives as enjoyable as possible. I would even be willing to try caring for an animal that may act somewhat aggressive, as long as they don't have a history of serious injuries, seeing as I'm not trained to defuse an attitude such as that yet. I am also, of course, willing to care for your home through small time chores as long as I am there. Right now, I'm a sandwich slinger at Subway. Usually I only get morning shifts which are 3 hours on average, 6 hours tops. I would let you know if I'm going to be away for longer! Otherwise, I try not to leave my wards for more than 4-5 hours just out of caution. I generally prefer to petsit outside my home, since our pets aren't always awesome with new friends... but I'm always willing to come to your place, granted we (of course) meet beforehand so I can get a lay of the land and your pets can assess me. I will do my best to keep routines just the same for your pet, as well as ensure that the house is NOT messed up. I will keep in touch with you with pictures and updates! (Unless you don't need that, of course!)

If there are other specific times I need to come, let me know and I could possibly work around that! I also have Sundays and Mondays off! About: I care deeply about dogs and their welfare, including love and exercise. My dog Mitzy also loves other dogs and is a gentle companion; she loves to play and make friends. I work from home, so I am available at all times. I will spend time with your pup, and my own dog is very loving. I have a fenced backyard and we have a huge neighborhood area exclusively to us homeowners the size of a football field. Also there are to parks within 5 minutes.

About: I've cared for and loved family pets (beagle, staffy, and pit) all my life, but as a young adult living in an apartment away from home, I'm looking to befriend some local canine pals!
