About: I have taken care of many family and friends dogs. I treat them like they’re mine own. I go out of my way to make them feel happy. I’m retired so my days and evenings are open to care for your pets. My hours are very flexible. Time with your pet will be the best part of my day. I love to walk, so your dog will get as much walking in as he or she wants. Their schedule will be my schedule. There are lots of dogs in my neighborhood, so your fur baby will meet new friends.

About: Even in childhood, I've loved animals. I decided when I was very young that I wanted to make a career out of rescuing abused, disabled, and neglected animals who need help; I still think about this dream today, at 20 years old. For all my life, I've had a dog, cat, or critter to come home to. I'm willing and able to go on walks, though prefer not to walk too much on days above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or below 30. As far as I'm concerned, I'm willing and able to do anything your animal may need. I care about every animal companion, and will do my best to make their lives as enjoyable as possible. I would even be willing to try caring for an animal that may act somewhat aggressive, as long as they don't have a history of serious injuries, seeing as I'm not trained to defuse an attitude such as that yet. I am also, of course, willing to care for your home through small time chores as long as I am there. Right now, I'm a sandwich slinger at Subway. Usually I only get morning shifts which are 3 hours on average, 6 hours tops. I would let you know if I'm going to be away for longer! Otherwise, I try not to leave my wards for more than 4-5 hours just out of caution. I generally prefer to petsit outside my home, since our pets aren't always awesome with new friends... but I'm always willing to come to your place, granted we (of course) meet beforehand so I can get a lay of the land and your pets can assess me. I will do my best to keep routines just the same for your pet, as well as ensure that the house is NOT messed up. I will keep in touch with you with pictures and updates! (Unless you don't need that, of course!)

If I am sitting a cat or a reptile, I focus on spending quality, calm time with them, respecting their space, and keeping their environment clean and secure. I know how stressful it can be to leave your family member with someone new, so I send daily photo updates and quick text check-ins after every visit or walk. My home is a clean, calm, and smoke-free environment. Safety and trust are the absolute core of my pet-sitting philosophy. Coming from a CNA background, I am professionally trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, monitor well-being, and maintain a highly organized, clean environment. When pets are in my 700-square-foot apartment, they enjoy a calm and securely enclosed space. To ensure maximum safety and a stress-free environment, I enforce a strict policy of only hosting one dog or cat family at a time—your pet will never be forced to share space with another strange cat or dog. Olivia works 2 to 8 usually but other than that we like to watch tv and go on walks so we will be at the house often!! I never push a dog beyond what they're comfortable with and always make sure they're safely returned home before I leave. For in-home check-ins, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food per your instructions, and plenty of attention before I go. I'll always leave your home exactly as I found it and provide updates so you have peace of mind while you're away. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so your pet gets the benefit of staying in the comfort of their own familiar environment — which is often the least stressful option for them.

About: Most people babysit growing up, I was the local petsitter instead. Now I’m the go-to petsitter for my friends and colleagues, looking to help others! I have experience petsitting both cats and dogs! My main summer job is research, so the hours I’m available are very flexible. I make my own schedule so I can make myself available for most times! I’ve cared for lots of pets of varying age and need ranges, so I am equipped to do whatever is needed for pets to thrive while their owners are away.
