About: Born around lots of animals, including the GSD my mom bred many going to K9 programs and I would show them when I was little. Growing up, I was part of raising & training hunting dogs (Labs) & a seizure dog (Sheltie). As an adult I've had a GSD, Pomeranians and pitbulls (potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, basic commands like sit stay come - clicker method). I also learned some about senior care helping my friend who worked at Hearts United shelter for several years. I currently don't have any dogs, but have cats. I have minimal appointments (2 hour long weekly standing & sporadic others) and errands (school drop off and pickup) so I can be available to care for your pet nearly 24/7 Caring for your dog at your home, I would follow whatever routine, usual/best practices you have for them there. At my apartment, there is a large open grassy area right behind my building and a great walking/bike path, but it is NOT fenced so I would be taking out any dog myself on a leash. If I needed to leave my apartment for an appointment/errand and could not bring your dog along, I would want to crate to ensure there's no accidents while unsupervised in a strange environment.

About: Even in childhood, I've loved animals. I decided when I was very young that I wanted to make a career out of rescuing abused, disabled, and neglected animals who need help; I still think about this dream today, at 20 years old. For all my life, I've had a dog, cat, or critter to come home to. I'm willing and able to go on walks, though prefer not to walk too much on days above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or below 30. As far as I'm concerned, I'm willing and able to do anything your animal may need. I care about every animal companion, and will do my best to make their lives as enjoyable as possible. I would even be willing to try caring for an animal that may act somewhat aggressive, as long as they don't have a history of serious injuries, seeing as I'm not trained to defuse an attitude such as that yet. I am also, of course, willing to care for your home through small time chores as long as I am there. Right now, I'm a sandwich slinger at Subway. Usually I only get morning shifts which are 3 hours on average, 6 hours tops. I would let you know if I'm going to be away for longer! Otherwise, I try not to leave my wards for more than 4-5 hours just out of caution. I generally prefer to petsit outside my home, since our pets aren't always awesome with new friends... but I'm always willing to come to your place, granted we (of course) meet beforehand so I can get a lay of the land and your pets can assess me. I will do my best to keep routines just the same for your pet, as well as ensure that the house is NOT messed up. I will keep in touch with you with pictures and updates! (Unless you don't need that, of course!)

About: I have taken care of many family and friends dogs. I treat them like they’re mine own. I go out of my way to make them feel happy. I’m retired so my days and evenings are open to care for your pets. My hours are very flexible. Time with your pet will be the best part of my day. I love to walk, so your dog will get as much walking in as he or she wants. Their schedule will be my schedule. There are lots of dogs in my neighborhood, so your fur baby will meet new friends.

About: I grew up with pets my whole life. My family and friends have relied on me walk, feed, and house/dog sit when they are unavailable. My dog MJ, who passed in 2020, made one of the biggest impacts in my life, and if I can give more care and love to animals it would be very fulfilling. I am comfortable around pets of all ages, and will cater to each animals needs. It is always my aim to adore your pet as much as you do! My job is mostly remote and I do make my own schedule. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old, consistently with one family when they go on vacation. I have 3 pets of my own. Then also attend zoo academy where I shadow and care for animals in the reptile and insect departments. I am a freshman at UNL so have a full schedule during the day. However, I am available after 4 on most days of the week. I do return to Omaha on the weekends. In my own home I am responsible for feeding my pets twice a day. In previous pet sitting jobs I go to homes to feed and clean the litter box as well as spend time with the animals. I have also spent the night at a house. A clean boarding house is good for the health of pets, and I clean and disinfect my house every day. My home is close to the park. We take them to the park every day. My daughter is a student right now at high school and after school, she can take them on a walk, so we have plenty of time to take care of them. I have a 6-foot fenced yard, also a whole basement for them. They can roam freely in the house, no smoking, and no little kids. I will check them every 2 hours to see if they need anything.

About: Hi, I’m Ella! I’m a college student who loves both dogs and cats and have experience working at a doggy daycare caring for all types of breeds and personalities. I have plenty of free time and enjoy spending it walking dogs, playing with pets, and making sure they’re well cared for while you’re away. I’m a college student working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m free most mornings, weekdays after 2 PM, and on weekends. I already spend a lot of time with my own dogs, Rocco and Jake, so fitting in walks, playtime, or drop-ins with other pets easily fits into my routine. I have two younger dogs at home, Rocco and Jake, who I walk, feed, and care for daily. I also worked at Hound Around Doggy Daycare, where I gained experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable giving medications, monitoring group play, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved.

About: Ive taken care of animals since before I can remember. All pets are given all the love I have to offer. I’m very gentle with older pets and always do my best to make sure they’re comfortable and pampered. I've got more free time on my hands than I know what to do with; so it would be no problem at all to take care of your pets! I make sure pets get regularly taken out, as well as making sure they’re happy and fed. I also get a little silly and play with them for hours!

About: I’ve mostly cared for bigger dogs with a lot of energy. I regularly look after my friend’s pets as well as my family’s. I have a dog of my own, she’s very active and friendly. I’ve had her for over a year and learned so much about dogs from being a pet parent. I got to school part-time but I still have quite a bit of time throughout the day for check-ins. The weekends are best for boarding. I like to do dog walking throughout the week. I spend most of my time at home so I don’t mind hosting at my home but I’ll also do care at a client’s home. I do not have a fenced in back yard but I live in an area with a lot of parks and open spaces. I do spend a lot of time outside so I’m comfortable with going out for multiple walks a day. I don’t provide treats of my own unless the owner asks me too or if they tell me what they’re okay with their pet eating. I don’t give pets food I’m eating because I don’t want them to choke or they could get sick.
