“Feel so much better knowing Alicia coming to check on pups and walk dogs when I can’t be there! thanks so much for taking great care of pups and walking Lola, who can be a handful!”
“Thank you Katey for being the best!!! I got a new puppy last week and she has been coming at noon to walk my older dog and the puppy. It has been such a great help and I am excited each day to see what she sends me via the app. Love all the pictures you get of my cute girls! :)”
“Everything was great- from the communication through the entire walk. Came even though it was a rainy day. Ruckus has a new friend and already loves her. Huge help.”
“Jessica owns two dogs of her own and treats them like her children. She is a very caring and responsible person, who would lover your dog like her own.”
“Ana did a great job!”
About: I have a wonderful pitbull-boxer mix at home :) I have had her since she was a puppy. I have always lived with pets, both cats and dogs. I regularly take care of friends’ and neighbors’ pets while they are out of town. I am a teacher with LPS. Over the summers and during breaks I am free all day. During the school year I am available before and after school. I am active and like to be outdoors so I can manage long walks or a lot of playtime. Caring for other people is my job, and I bring the same energy to pets. I truly believe they are a part of your family and should be treated that way.
“Olivia was very responsive and flexible, our puppies loved her, and she did great with them (2 50lb pups are quite the handful), would recommend!”
“I have two 100lb dogs and a temperamental cat. Randy has pet/house sat for us numerous times for up to weeks at a time. We can be pretty particular about them, especially when we had dietary restrictions and a bunch of medications to navigate. Randy follows our intensive instructions explicitly and as he likes to remind us, he is now their third favorite human:) We would recommend Randy to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”
“I have never seen someone care for dogs as much as Allie. She loves pets more than her own husband. Allie has a kind heart and you can see that in everything she does. She is caring, responsible, and a joy to be around, all things that every Rover professional should be.”
About: My family has owned Labs my entire life- and I especially miss them when I'm at school! I've walked my own dogs for about 7 years, ever since my mom suffered an injury. I am a college student who does classes remotely, so I am available every day/most nights! It's great for me to get out of the house and spend time with your pup :) I am highly independent and thus I'm very conscientious about making sure things are done right- I keep a close eye on pets at all times and am good at anticipating when their needs may cause them to act out.
“McKenzie has watched my dog for me almost every single weekend I am out of town. My dog always gets so excited when McKenzie watches him for the weekend or even takes him on an afternoon walk when I can’t make it home. She is very attentive of his needs and always makes sure to use good habits and positive reinforcement on their walk. I have even left him at her apartment for a week when I was visiting family out of town. McKenzie gave me updated pictures whenever I asked and updated me when he had eaten and what fun adventures they went on throughout their day together. After her watching my pup over the past year she is more than qualified to look after anyone’s dog.”
“Dom has been my primary go to dog sitter for 5 years. He originally took care of my elderly rat terrier who was incontinent, mostly blind and deaf, and an anxious biter. He would make sure my dog was loved well and took care of any messes. Dom now watches my 8 month old rescue dog who is full of puppy energy. Dom is wonderful at working off the excess energy of my dog through play, while also practicing the obedience training I learn in class. Dom stays positive with my dog and uses only positive discipline. I have trusted Dom to stay in my home to watch my dogs when I go on trips. I always return to a happy puppy and clean house.”
“Kate is extremely passionate about animals, and her love for them shines. She also has so much patience for them, and she loves watching their interactions finding their behavior fascinating. She has watched my Husky numerous times, and there is no one else who I’d so readily place my trust in to watch Elva. Elva loves her, and is always happy to be around Kate, and it’s mutual. Kate’s very accommodating, and made Elva feel welcome in her home. She’s responsible, communicative, and easy to work with! 10/10”
“Kristin is a great walk-in companion for Earl and do reliable! I appreciate having someone in my neighborhood who can take him out at lunchtime.”
“Kara has been a blessing!! She always checks in & lets us know how Charlie is doing! Appreciate her very much!”
“Having Roger stop by to give Smudge a break was a great decision! He was very willing to meet up beforehand to make sure it would be a good fit. I appreciated his details in letting me know how things went. I will definitely be using his excellent service again! It puts my mind at peace to know my pup can get out on a nice day.”
About: Hello my name is Kirstin. I currently live in Lincoln NE. I have always loved animals no matter the species. I currently work at a veterinarian office, as a kennel attendant and receptionist, so I'm not afraid of giving medication. I love to learn about new animals and any fun facts about them. I am also able and comfortable to give medication. I currently volunteer at what is called The Cat House. So I love caring for animals. I have been pet sitting for around 4 years for cats and dogs, but I'm willing to learn what it takes for other animals. I am comfortable with small and large animals and even ones that might be aggressive. I know that if an animal attacks me there was probably something I did to agitate them it usually is never the animal's fault. I currently work part-time, anywhere from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. weekdays, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. all week, or 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. All of this does depend on my part-time scheduling. If you have any questions on how I will care for your pet, don't hesitate to shoot me a question. I usually watch the dogs when I let them out into the yard unless the owner has stated otherwise. I carefully measure out the food given. Depending on the weather and usually will wipe dogs paws when they come inside. For any pets that require it, I always make sure to play with them to get physical energy out and to give them mental stimulation.
About: I am very reliable and can usually provide care when given short notice! My family fosters and rescues animals for Brave, so we love them with all our heart! I understand how scary it is to leave your pets life with a stranger, so that’s why I’m here! No matter the shape, size, breed/type, or gender of your pet, I will provide the best care humanly possible 😋 I plan to do this all summer long! Mornings to midnight, I’m open to it all! I can do weekends depending on my calendar, so ask ahead anyways! I will keep a close eye on your pet(s) and follow the plans or schedules you provide me with! Any special diets or requests will be followed through with! And of course make sure they’re happy and comfortable.
