“Andrea and Edwin were amazing! It was our first time using Rover and we will definitely choose them as needed! The photo updates were great and so very appreciated! It became a highlight of our trip to see what our pets were up to while we were away. Thank you so much for loving on our crew while we were gone!”

“Jamie was wonderful. We have a cat that needs a pill. She got her to eat it with her food without having to physically pill her. We got photos and updates in the app. We definitely will have Jamie take care of our cat again”

“Ella is a top notch cat sitter and house sitter. She has been a reliable part of our kitty-care for years now, and I don’t know what we’d do without her! We can always count on her to be responsible, flexible, communicative, and so sweet with our kitt-os! Couldn’t recommend more highly.”

“Amy did such a great job taking care of our pets. Our cats and dog have some separation anxiety issues, but they had no issues thanks to Amy’s attentive visits. She was prompt, and followed all of our small silly wishes. We look forward to using her services again.”

“Anna was so sweet with Lexie! She was very responsive, sent us pictures during her visit, and completed the tasks we asked of her. We’ll definitely book her again in the future!”

About: I have been caring for dogs for 15 years. I recently lost my 2 Babies. One from old age & the other to cancer. I am not ready to adopt another at this time but absolutely love to be around dogs and give them lots of love and care. My family and friends often rely on me for taking care of their pets when needed. I have 1 1/2 years experience handling and grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. I am currently working M-F 8-2, I work just minutes away from my home. I am available any early mornings & afternoon/ evening during the week, and full availability on the weekends. I have an open floor plan, no stairs except for the 2 outside my front door, fully fenced in backyard & I have 2 extra large crates if needed.
About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs ever since I was little! I have my own dog, Sampson, who I trained from a little pup to now. I worked in a local pet store in Lincoln, NE for 2 years that specialized in cat/dog health! I’m currently a nursing student, but I am generally pretty open! I’m not available for in-home boarding or pet sitting, but happy to do check-ins and walks. I am experienced with all types of dogs- elderly, puppies, reactive, or just wild! I have basic training skills and can easily crate your pup, if necessary. Love is my philosophy!
“Aly was incredible! She took great care of my cat and was very flexible. This was my first time leaving my cat in someone else's care and I felt very relaxed after meeting Aly. She did a great job and I appreciated the daily updates.”

“Abbey has been great to work with. She visits my dog every day to let her outside while I’m at work. She leaves a note and takes photos during every visit and has been great about communicating.”

“I had not met Nicole before she watched my cats. She did a great job caring for them and she was good about keeping me updated after each visit. I would definitely have her watch them again and recommend her to anyone needing their animals taken care of while away.”

“Abby has been great with our 3 dogs! We have a wild and unruly pup, a reactive and high-energy border collie, and an aging basset - so it's not exactly easy, yet she sure makes it seem that way. We hope to keep using her services as long as she wants to.”

About: Hello fellow animal lovers! There's nothing quite like the unconditional love and joy they bring into our lives, and getting to care for them is something I treasure. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in extended overnight pet care, I bring a level of dedication and reliability that goes beyond the basics. My background in pediatrics and childcare has given me transferable skills in patience, attentiveness, and routine-building, all of which translate seamlessly into providing exceptional care for your pets. I am comfortable with animals of all sizes and temperaments, and I have experience handling complex medical needs including administering medication, applying topical treatments, and accommodating specialized dietary requirements. Whether you have a curious puppy, a playful kitten, or a senior pet with unique needs, I approach every animal with patience and genuine love. When I house-sit, I treat your home with the same respect I'd want for my own. I'll handle day-to-day household tasks such as collecting mail and packages, taking out the trash, and keeping things tidy so you return to a clean, welcoming home, and happy, well cared for pets. I welcome last-minute and short-notice bookings, as I understand life doesn't always go as planned, and I'm happy to step in whenever you need me. I follow your instructions closely and will always go above and beyond to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and right at home. At the end of the day, I'm not just a sitter, I'm someone who will love your pets like my own, and that's a promise. While I work a standard 8-4 weekday schedule, my schedule is designed to give your pet consistent attention throughout the day. During the week, I'm available for walks and check-ins in the early morning before work, over my lunch break, and in the evenings. For overnight stays, I'm fully available on weekdays as well — just keep in mind I'll be away from 8–4, with a check-in over lunch. Weekends are completely open, giving me full flexibility for longer visits, overnights, or anything else your pet needs. Whether I'm house-sitting, walking your dog, or stopping in for a check-in, your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I treat every client's home with the utmost respect. I'm there to care for your pet and maintain your space, not disrupt it. During house-sitting stays, I follow your established routines as closely as possible to keep your pet feeling secure and at ease in their own environment. I'll ensure doors, gates, and any containment areas are secure at all times, and I always keep emergency contact information and your vet's details on hand should anything come up. For dog walks, I keep dogs leashed and under close supervision at all times, paying attention to their comfort level and energy throughout the walk. I never push a dog beyond what they're comfortable with and always make sure they're safely returned home before I leave. For in-home check-ins, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food per your instructions, and plenty of attention before I go. I'll always leave your home exactly as I found it and provide updates so you have peace of mind while you're away. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so your pet gets the benefit of staying in the comfort of their own familiar environment — which is often the least stressful option for them.
About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Canada. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.
“Rachael is outstanding! I’m so happy we found her on Rover. She’s so good with our pets! She always prompt with their meals and sends us pictures daily. We get an update on each one individually so we know how they’re doing while we’re away. Five stars aren’t enough!! 😻”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my home since I was 6 years old. I love caring for them and providing them the best life! I genuinely love animals and I want to ensure fellow pet parents have someone they can trust to care for their pets while they’re away. I have fostered several dogs and ‘babysat’ dogs and cats off and on most of my life! I would be happy to take care of your pup or cat! I am recently graduated from a Master’s program and now working full-time at UNL. My schedule is flexible outside of working hours (8:30-4:30)- evenings and weekends! I would love to stop in to check on your dog or cat, take them for walks, play, stay at their home with them, etc! I have the utmost respect for everyone’s spaces and promise to leave them better than I found them while caring for your pet! Your pets and you both deserve a safe and healthy environment!
Salt Valley View pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily was amazing! She communicated daily, sent pictures of Frankie and Charlie, and took wonderful care of them while I was away. She fed them, cleaned the litter box, and gave Charlie his medication with no issues. She is kind, friendly, and trustworthy, and because of her I was able to truly relax and enjoy my vacation. I will absolutely use her again and highly recommend her!

Kelly has taken wonderful care of our cats. She gets both cat’s personalities and takes time to give them both their preferred forms of attention. Kelly also sends delightful updates with every visit, which make us feel better when we have to leave our little beasts.

5⭐️ couldn’t recommend Kayla enough. My 2 little dogs loved her and she did a great job, on time, sent lots of pics, updates, and was always on time! It is such a weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that I don’t need to worry about my dogs while away! Will be biking Kayla again for sure!
