About: dogs are very important to me as i have been around them my entire life. i currently work at a dog kennel and as much as i enjoy cleaning up after and taking care of those dogs, i would love to have the opportunity to take care of more dogs outside of the kennel environment. my own dog is so very special to me. when i take him back to visit my parents, we have a total of four dogs running around! the smallest is around 10lbs and the biggest is around 85lbs, needless to say it’s crazy and fun! i currently work part time so i am very flexible with my schedule. i am happy to accommodate as much as i can to fit whatever needs you may have. i live in an apartment so as of now, i am not able to dog sit at my home. however, i am more than happy to commute to your residence to treat your dog as if they were my own. dogs have unique personalities and i am capable of accommodating special requests to make sure your dog is as comfortable and safe with me as possible.
“Abbey has been great to work with. She visits my dog every day to let her outside while I’m at work. She leaves a note and takes photos during every visit and has been great about communicating.”

About: Hello fellow animal lovers! There's nothing quite like the unconditional love and joy they bring into our lives, and getting to care for them is something I treasure. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in extended overnight pet care, I bring a level of dedication and reliability that goes beyond the basics. My background in pediatrics and childcare has given me transferable skills in patience, attentiveness, and routine-building, all of which translate seamlessly into providing exceptional care for your pets. I am comfortable with animals of all sizes and temperaments, and I have experience handling complex medical needs including administering medication, applying topical treatments, and accommodating specialized dietary requirements. Whether you have a curious puppy, a playful kitten, or a senior pet with unique needs, I approach every animal with patience and genuine love. When I house-sit, I treat your home with the same respect I'd want for my own. I'll handle day-to-day household tasks such as collecting mail and packages, taking out the trash, and keeping things tidy so you return to a clean, welcoming home, and happy, well cared for pets. I welcome last-minute and short-notice bookings, as I understand life doesn't always go as planned, and I'm happy to step in whenever you need me. I follow your instructions closely and will always go above and beyond to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and right at home. At the end of the day, I'm not just a sitter, I'm someone who will love your pets like my own, and that's a promise. While I work a standard 8-4 weekday schedule, my schedule is designed to give your pet consistent attention throughout the day. During the week, I'm available for walks and check-ins in the early morning before work, over my lunch break, and in the evenings. For overnight stays, I'm fully available on weekdays as well — just keep in mind I'll be away from 8–4, with a check-in over lunch. Weekends are completely open, giving me full flexibility for longer visits, overnights, or anything else your pet needs. Whether I'm house-sitting, walking your dog, or stopping in for a check-in, your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I treat every client's home with the utmost respect. I'm there to care for your pet and maintain your space, not disrupt it. During house-sitting stays, I follow your established routines as closely as possible to keep your pet feeling secure and at ease in their own environment. I'll ensure doors, gates, and any containment areas are secure at all times, and I always keep emergency contact information and your vet's details on hand should anything come up. For dog walks, I keep dogs leashed and under close supervision at all times, paying attention to their comfort level and energy throughout the walk. I never push a dog beyond what they're comfortable with and always make sure they're safely returned home before I leave. For in-home check-ins, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food per your instructions, and plenty of attention before I go. I'll always leave your home exactly as I found it and provide updates so you have peace of mind while you're away. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so your pet gets the benefit of staying in the comfort of their own familiar environment — which is often the least stressful option for them.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly love caring for animals of all kinds. Although I currently live in a small apartment and can’t have pets of my own right now, pet sitting gives me the chance to spend time doing something I genuinely enjoy. I regularly dog sit for a married couple whenever they travel out of town, and I also cat sit for a woman who lives in an apartment. I have experience feeding, watering, walking, playing with pets, giving medications, and making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime and attention or a calm and comforting presence, I’m happy to provide loving care you can trust. I’m a teacher, which means I have the entire summer off and plenty of time to give your pets the attention and care they deserve. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule for drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, and pet sitting. Once the school year begins again, I’d still love to continue working with returning clients and their pets in the evenings, on weekends, holidays, and school breaks. I truly enjoy caring for animals and getting to know their owners. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I’m attentive, dependable, and make sure every pet feels secure, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any special care requests to keep your pet happy and stress-free. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and needs a calm presence, I’m patient and happy to adapt to their individual personality and needs. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Ella is so wonderful and attentive to pet care. Our cat is not the easiest, yet Ella always is so positive and wanting to build a relationship with her. Whenever there’s anything slightly out of the norm, she lets you know immediately. I couldn’t recommend her more! She is our go to cat sitter!”

“Amy did such a great job taking care of our pets. Our cats and dog have some separation anxiety issues, but they had no issues thanks to Amy’s attentive visits. She was prompt, and followed all of our small silly wishes. We look forward to using her services again.”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs ever since I was little! I have my own dog, Sampson, who I trained from a little pup to now. I worked in a local pet store in Lincoln, NE for 2 years that specialized in cat/dog health! I’m currently a nursing student, but I am generally pretty open! I’m not available for in-home boarding or pet sitting, but happy to do check-ins and walks. I am experienced with all types of dogs- elderly, puppies, reactive, or just wild! I have basic training skills and can easily crate your pup, if necessary. Love is my philosophy!
“Thank you so much Tiffany for taking such great care of Pepper. I know he really enjoys your visits and we really appreciate know he’s receiving such good care.”

“Chelsea did a wonderful job. She was very timely and quick to reply, and helped us on a very short notice. She communicated well and followed all instructions we asked. Izzy seemed to be really happy and we will definitely use Chelsea again if we need Izzy taken care of while we are gone!”

About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Los Angeles. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.
Far South pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aly did such a wonderful job taking care of our two senior dogs while we were away. She went above and beyond with them, even taking time to brush the loose hair off my 130 lb malamute! This was our first time using Rover and Aly gave us such a great first experience that we may never board them again! Highly recommend her!

Emily was amazing! She communicated daily, sent pictures of Frankie and Charlie, and took wonderful care of them while I was away. She fed them, cleaned the litter box, and gave Charlie his medication with no issues. She is kind, friendly, and trustworthy, and because of her I was able to truly relax and enjoy my vacation. I will absolutely use her again and highly recommend her!
