While working at a dog/cat/critter boarding, daycare and grooming business for four years, I was able to build upon my pet care experience. In addition, I have taken care of a rescue mother and her ten puppy litter from birth through adoption. I adopted the mother and cared for her through heartworm treatments and c-section recovery. Shy and anxious dogs are my specialty. I am very comfortable with rescue and medicine dependent pets.

I have been petsitting for friends and family for over twenty years. I always send photos and updates if that's something you enjoy. I will absolutely evaluate any safety needs and update you if I observe any health concerns.

We have an anxious pitbull that can be pretty suspicious of new people but Jennifer immediately bonded and put her at ease. We’ve had her do overnights and walks and she always does a great job and sends lots of pics of our happy pup. She is one of the few we trust with our dog and our house.
Over the years, Jennifer has taken care of our 120lb dog, a cat with litterbox issues, and our current cat who is very shy. She is outstanding! Jennifer is reliable, caring, knowledgeable about both cats and dogs, and always goes above and beyond what is asked of her. Jennifer is responsible and always updated us when we were out of town. She even came to the house extra times, to check on our pets and give them more attention. I can't imagine leaving our pets with anyone else!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible. I am available days, nights and weekends. Pet walks, playtime and drop-ins are no problem. I am open to last minute needs and other special requests.

- While working at a pet boarding/daycare facility I have learned to observe and identify many different types of behavior. If your pet is shy, anxious or initially uncomfortable with new people, I will do my utmost to soothe that fear.
