“Kirstin did a great job with my pups. One of mine is very skittish and takes a little extra attention and Kirstin was able to connect with her and make things less stressful for her. All 3 of mine are senior dogs with distinct personalities and she tailored her interactions with each to give them what they need. And the pictures were great! I will definitely use her again.”

“I am glad to know Charlie will be in good hands when I need to leave!! Are you guys available on short notice too if decide to leave for a day or weekend?? Also you guys did not have to clean my drive and walk!! That was so kind of you!!”

“Ella is a life saver! As always she is great with the animals but this time she went above and beyond. I got my days off by 1 day and after realizing this Ella went onto to our house right away and was able to rearrange out stop ins. It was so relieving to know they were okay!”

I am recently graduated from a Master’s program and now working full-time at UNL. My schedule is flexible outside of working hours (8:30-4:30)- evenings and weekends! I would love to stop in to check on your dog or cat, take them for walks, play, stay at their home with them, etc! I have the utmost respect for everyone’s spaces and promise to leave them better than I found them while caring for your pet! Your pets and you both deserve a safe and healthy environment!

I have an open floor plan, no stairs except for the 2 outside my front door, fully fenced in backyard & I have 2 extra large crates if needed.
“Abby has been great with our 3 dogs! We have a wild and unruly pup, a reactive and high-energy border collie, and an aging basset - so it's not exactly easy, yet she sure makes it seem that way. We hope to keep using her services as long as she wants to.”

“Chelsea did a wonderful job. She was very timely and quick to reply, and helped us on a very short notice. She communicated well and followed all instructions we asked. Izzy seemed to be really happy and we will definitely use Chelsea again if we need Izzy taken care of while we are gone!”

“Our Cali loves Levi! Levi was able to build a bond with Cali quicly. He took his time with her to build the trust between and now Xalu looks firward to his visits. Levi is very trustworthy, dependable and truly cares about Cali. I was most impressed by Levi when he alerted me to a tick sighting. It was after the visit but he still contacted me out of concern. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old, including feeding, walking, playing, and basic care routines. I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping them comfortable and well cared for. I’m currently in graduate school and have extra flexibility throughout my days, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I love staying active and enjoy walks, playtime, and keeping pets engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks or potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. I make sure pets feel comfortable and safe in their own space, keep the home tidy, and provide updates and photos to owners.
About: I have been blessed with the ability to make friends with dogs regardless of their breed or age. Often, when we meet, I just have a sense of them. It is my goal to make your dog comfortable, safe and happy in my care. I will also care for your home the way I care for my own. Playing with pets is my ideal fun retirement gig. As a retired business owner with 45 years in the moving business I was responsible for people's valuables and their residence. One time, while moving a Husker Head football Coach and his family, I picked up their cat at the airport in Omaha at 1 am while the family was traveling to Lincoln. My promise to you is to make your pet and home my priority while they are in my care. I am currently retired and available except when I go to work out or play basketball. I can even bring our pup Kari over if your dog likes doggie playtime. She loves to play and hang out with all other dogs. I am happy to let your dog out in your fenced yard for play time or take them out in the front or back on a leash as needed if not fenced.
Porter Ridge pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily was amazing! She communicated daily, sent pictures of Frankie and Charlie, and took wonderful care of them while I was away. She fed them, cleaned the litter box, and gave Charlie his medication with no issues. She is kind, friendly, and trustworthy, and because of her I was able to truly relax and enjoy my vacation. I will absolutely use her again and highly recommend her!

Reagan is honestly the greatest. Prompt, a good communicator, extremely kind, and very accommodating are just some of the things I love about her. When she stayed overnight in my home she left it cleaner than I did! I have many pets and she followed all directions perfectly. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you for everything, Reagan ♥️ hope to see you soon!
