About: I have taken care of animals since i was a little kid. I grew up on a farm so have been around animals my whole life. Now as I have gotten older, I am a certified dog mom :) I currently have 2 labs of my own, Johnny and June. We love being outside and running off energy. This could include playing in the big fenced in back yard, going to the dog park or even swimming out at the lake. Since I have no children of my own, my dogs are my children and are treated as such. They pretty much rule the house and what they want usually goes. They have more toys than they know what to do with and know by just giving me the puppy eyes they can get a treat. They love having their furry friends come over to play or to spend the night. I do have experience in caring for dogs from puppies all the way up to senior age. My last lab was 13 years old when he passed away last summer and needed a lot of extra care and patience to ensure that he was comfortable. I currently do work full-time but have a pretty flexible schedule. I am able to work from home at least 1 day a week and those days I am not at home, I am able to come home to give potty breaks and to run off some energy. While I am at work my dogs are in their kennels with lots of toys and their special blankets. They are both puppies still so free roam hasnt happened quite yet, despite our attempts. Too many things to get into and chew on while mom is gone :) On the weekends, 9 times out of 10 they are spent just being at home and spending time with the dogs. If it is nice we may go on little adventures but there is very little kennel time. I am looking to provide care for pets in my home. I have a very large fenced-in backyard that my two enjoy playing in. When I am home, most of their time is spent outside. I do have a bunch of toys for them to play with and also a baby pool to swim in when it is hot. When I am gone I do kennel my dogs and would prefer to be able to kennel visitors as well.

About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Los Angeles. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.

About: We love all animals and treat them as family. There is care for the animal in the home 24/7. Patient with all types of animals. Work flexibility. I am working full time but my partner works from home. Pets will have company 24/7 with bathroom breaks as needed. If the owner and dog are comfortable with it car rides for fun and to the dog park are always an option. We are able to take an animal in at any time. We will both be home on weekends. Plenty of play time. I have a fenced yard. I have cats in the home but gates to keep them easily separated. I have water fountains for easy access to water. I have experience with giving medication and taking care of animals with bathroom issues.

About: I think what sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I am a very active and attentive person. I love spending quality time and really enjoy keeping myself busy. I have had years of watching family friends pets and feel very confident taking care of animals, as I also have one of my own. I am currently working full time 9-6PM, but come this fall I am moving and completely starting over! I am looking to just have some fun and live life to the fullest! My routine for the first few months in my new place will be very loose scheduled and laid back. I am a very tidy and clean person. I often find myself leaving a place better than I found it! To some that may be annoying, but to a pet owner, I think they would always love a little extra help around the house and knowing they would be coming back to a nice clean place. I also am a very empathetic person, and would want to treat any pet, the way I treat my own.

About: When I was growing up babysit for my brothers bestfriend. I would have to walk the dogs and it got her energy out as well. :) I have 5 cats and I have to change their litter daily, feed them twice a day , give them love and attention. I will go to my grandmas and walk her dog for her. I treat them as I they are mine. I love animals no matter how big or small. And I follow the instructions from the orders of the times they want to feed them.

About: As cliche as it sounds, taking care of pets isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. Since I was little, I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds – from snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and dogs of all sizes, to fish and cats, including elderly pets.🐶🐍🐰🐢🐱 I’ve been there for potty training, administering medication, grooming, scheduled feedings, and maintaining teeth hygiene. To me, animals are pure and down-to-earth, and deserve the same respect ❤️ I don’t do this just for the money – I do it because I genuinely care about animals. I’ve heard too many sad stories about boarding pets somewhere, not getting the care they deserve, and the excessive costs involved, and I want to change that. This home is as much theirs as it is mine. I offer a six-foot fully gated yard, big enough for several animals to bask in the sun or play with toys.🌤️ I have several dog beds (and furniture) with enough space to care for your babies. Even the smaller critters or pets that aren’t cats and dogs! I recently used Rover myself and was initially skeptical, worried, and just overall leery about the situation. 😅But it turned out to be a wonderful experience, and now I want others to have the same peace of mind and enjoyment. I want pet owners to feel confident that their animals are in good hands so they can truly relax and enjoy their own vacation, knowing their pets are having a great time too.☺️ And if I could, I’d give myself five out of five stars, rated highly by Forbes ⭐️for providing top notch safety and security to help ease your pet’s separation from you while you’re away. It especially helps that I am home most of my days, and wouldn’t mind more company ☺️ It’s not that I just want to “provide care.” I feel like anyone could do that, but it’s more of bonding with that animal. It’s learning their needs, routine, and having patience with them. My goal is for them to not view me as a complete stranger, and more as a good friend to have 💕With that being said- I would love to take your dog on a walk, feed them, grooming, playing, and giving all the love they deserve! If there is good communication and understanding, I would be happy to help with proper medication or medical needs as well 🩷

About: I have had dogs and cats in the past, and am now the proud owner of two kitties! Ramona and Lucy keep me busy at home, but have been a Rover sitter for years. I love getting to meet new pets! I live and work in Lincoln! I work mostly weekdays and occasional weekends, the specific days vary which allows me to be pretty flexible. My day is 7:30a to 4p, so if you need a visit early in the morning I can do that! I play sand volleyball on Monday nights, happy to work around that. Overall I feel I have plenty of time in my schedule and would love to put that time to good use! My girls at home are my children! They’re spoiled with all of our love and attention. I understand that pets love their home, routine, and familiar smells. Trust that I will respect your pet’s nerves while you’re gone (if they have any). You’re their person, but they’ll be safe and loved in your absence.

“Liv was amazing! She did a daily drip in visit for our 2 cats for 2 weeks while we were out of the country. She was always on time. She was great at communicating and you can tell she really cares about animals. She played with both kitties and talked to them. One of our cats is pretty skittish of other people, but she let Liv pet her. We were shocked! Liv has cat whisperer vibes for sure. She brought in packages and mail daily for us and we didn’t even ask her to do that! She was extremely helpful and we will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. We highly recommend her to everyone on Rover! She is great!”
