“Amy did such a good job with my cats. They looked well taken care of and always answered when I asked questions or needed reassurance that they were happy. Thanks again for doing such a great job!”

“Hilary was communicative by sending a message when she was going to be about 15 min late to a drop in which is no big deal because we didn't need exact times, but I appreciate her letting me know, regardless. She was also flexible when I needed to push our first drop in time back a few hours because we left later than we thought. Our dog and cat were well taken care of despite the fact that our animals were a bit gruffy about having a stranger drop in. The only thing I would change is I wish we got more pictures, but that is something I could have communicated more before we left, so it's no big deal. I also appreciated her doing a meet and greet beforehand and she was very sweet with our pup during that time. Thanks so much for watching them - especially with all the snow we got!”

“Andrea was so sweet and patient with our shy pup! She was timely, professional, and a great communicator. I would absolutely recommend her and Edwin’s services!”

I am CPR certified as well I am a full time student but I am free all summer! I can take care of your dogs when you go on those amazing summer vacations. My schedule is very flexible so don’t be afraid to reach out! I live in an apartment so going to your place would be ideal. At your place I will clean anything you need me to! I will clean up after the dog and you won’t be disappointed!
“Alexus was great! Ella loved every minute with her! She gave her all the lovings while we were gone and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!”

About: Hi, I'm McGivney! My passion for animal care started all the way back in the 5th grade when I landed my first pet-sitting job letting out a neighbor's dog. Throughout my childhood, I continued looking after pets for my neighbors, building a reputation for being reliable, attentive, and caring. Today, I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). In my professional life, I love developing deep, trusting relationships with people, and I bring that exact same dedication, patience, and meticulous attention to detail when caring for animals. Because of my medical background, I am incredibly comfortable following strict care schedules, following complex routines, and administering oral medications precisely. I truly love all creatures! Beyond dogs and cats, I have experience handling and caring for a wide variety of animals, including fish, bearded dragons, geckos, frogs, and snakes. Whether your pet has fur, scales, or fins, I am super comfortable meeting their unique needs and ensuring they feel safe, loved, and properly looked after. I live in a comfortable, clean 700 sq. ft. apartment and strictly host only one cat or dog client family at a time to guarantee your pet gets my undivided attention and a stress-free environment. I can't wait to meet your animals and provide you with absolute peace of mind while you are away! Because I work in healthcare, my daily schedule varies, which actually makes me highly adaptable! No matter what my day looks like, your pet's established routine is my top priority. A typical day of care includes structured feeding times, plenty of fresh water, regular bathroom breaks, and dedicated one-on-one attention. I love staying active, so if I am walking or drop-sitting a dog, we will go on fun neighborhood walks and have plenty of playtime. If I am sitting a cat or a reptile, I focus on spending quality, calm time with them, respecting their space, and keeping their environment clean and secure. Pet parents can expect absolute reliability, clear communication, and total peace of mind. I know how stressful it can be to leave your family member with someone new, so I send daily photo updates and quick text check-ins after every visit or walk. My home is a clean, calm, and smoke-free environment. Safety and trust are the absolute core of my pet-sitting philosophy. Coming from a CNA background, I am professionally trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, monitor well-being, and maintain a highly organized, clean environment. When pets are in my 700-square-foot apartment, they enjoy a calm and securely enclosed space. To ensure maximum safety and a stress-free environment, I enforce a strict policy of only hosting one dog or cat family at a time—your pet will never be forced to share space with another strange cat or dog. Out on walks, your dog's safety is my top priority. I always keep dogs securely attached to standard, heavy-duty leashes (I never use unpredictable retractable leashes) and maintain complete awareness of our surroundings to avoid any tense interactions with off-leash neighborhood dogs. For small animals, reptiles, and cats, I ensure all enclosures are double-checked and entry doors are tightly secured before anyone is let out for supervised stretching or play. I treat your pets with the same high level of protective care and responsibility I use every day in my healthcare career.
About: Hi, I’m Avery and have been taking care of dogs my whole life! I’ve been in charge of training, walking, bathing, and caring for senior dogs. Not only have these been my dogs, but others that I have been a sitter for. I’m currently a student-athlete on the soccer team at University of Nebraska so the fall schedule while we are in season can get a little crazy. I currently have practices and classes during the week, but I frequently come home during the early afternoon and after dinner in between these events. I will always be home during the evening to take your pet on long walks or do whatever their favorite activity is! In my own home we never had a fence, so I am very comfortable with dogs both on and off the leash, whatever you prefer. I have also had dogs that are friendly with others and ones that are more aggressive, so I am used to handling both.
About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Los Angeles. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.
“Ella was amazing. Zelda seemed to like her very much. I was very nervous having my child in the care of a stranger for the first time while I was gone but she help ease my nerves after this experience definitely will be rebooking.”

“Kayla was wonderful!! Our cat was very happy to be able to stay at home and have Kayla come visit daily. I can tell from the pictures, that Carmen loved Kayla. We will definitely be using Kayla in the future”

“Highly recommend Megan! She was kind and patient with my shy cats, took time to meet me beforehand, and made me feel completely comfortable. I’ll definitely book her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Everett
Rebecca is fantastic! I’d trust her and her family with any one of my pets—drop-ins, boarding, you name it. She takes great care of every animal and is so kind, thoughtful, communicative, and easy to work with. You (and your pets!) lucky to have her as a sitter.

Aly did such a wonderful job taking care of our two senior dogs while we were away. She went above and beyond with them, even taking time to brush the loose hair off my 130 lb malamute! This was our first time using Rover and Aly gave us such a great first experience that we may never board them again! Highly recommend her!

Payton watched my cats while I was out of town. She came to meet my cats a couple days before I left town. She did an excellent job taking care of them while I was away. I will definitely have her watch them again sometime and would recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.

Emily was amazing! She communicated daily, sent pictures of Frankie and Charlie, and took wonderful care of them while I was away. She fed them, cleaned the litter box, and gave Charlie his medication with no issues. She is kind, friendly, and trustworthy, and because of her I was able to truly relax and enjoy my vacation. I will absolutely use her again and highly recommend her!

This was my very first time using anything like Rover to help take care of my dog partner. Olivia Maximilianus lived up to, and beyond, any expectations I ever had; performing with brilliant helpfulness. Providing professional service above any idea of which that I had going into the situation of needing help feeding my four-legged relative, while I traveled. With the sonic intuition of a bat soaring through the night, she knew what I needed before I could even think of it. With the professional and timely voice of mourning dove, she was prompt and unbelievably reliable. With the cool and calm discipline of a crow crossing a wire over a field of peace lilies, bluegrasses, and dandelions, she left my home and space in a cleaner and more organised way than I had left it. And with the resilience and dedication of V-formed geese, my four-legged family was exercised and engaged in such a good way. Evidenced in her calm and content energy in my return home. Reminding me of the words from my favourite poet, Mary Oliver, in the last verse of her poem titled, October: “One morning the fox came down the hill, glittering and confident, and didn’t see me- and I thought: so this is the world. I’m not in it. It is beautiful.”

Henry was wonderful! I'll be booking with them again, and I feel very safe leaving my cats in their care. They were punctual when we met up for me to show them the ropes, they listened and understood what I was asking for, and they exceeded my expectations of care once I returned! Thanks Henry, looking forward to booking with you again!!
