“Hilary did an amazing job caring for my kitties again! She sent great updates and was very quick to respond when I had questions or extra requests for her. She even went to pick up more of my kitties medicine when it ran out too soon. Hilary is amazing!”

About: I have taken care of animals since i was a little kid. I grew up on a farm so have been around animals my whole life. Now as I have gotten older, I am a certified dog mom :) I currently have 2 labs of my own, Johnny and June. We love being outside and running off energy. This could include playing in the big fenced in back yard, going to the dog park or even swimming out at the lake. Since I have no children of my own, my dogs are my children and are treated as such. They pretty much rule the house and what they want usually goes. They have more toys than they know what to do with and know by just giving me the puppy eyes they can get a treat. They love having their furry friends come over to play or to spend the night. I do have experience in caring for dogs from puppies all the way up to senior age. My last lab was 13 years old when he passed away last summer and needed a lot of extra care and patience to ensure that he was comfortable. I currently do work full-time but have a pretty flexible schedule. I am able to work from home at least 1 day a week and those days I am not at home, I am able to come home to give potty breaks and to run off some energy. While I am at work my dogs are in their kennels with lots of toys and their special blankets. They are both puppies still so free roam hasnt happened quite yet, despite our attempts. Too many things to get into and chew on while mom is gone :) On the weekends, 9 times out of 10 they are spent just being at home and spending time with the dogs. If it is nice we may go on little adventures but there is very little kennel time. I am looking to provide care for pets in my home. I have a very large fenced-in backyard that my two enjoy playing in. When I am home, most of their time is spent outside. I do have a bunch of toys for them to play with and also a baby pool to swim in when it is hot. When I am gone I do kennel my dogs and would prefer to be able to kennel visitors as well.
“Very happy I booked with Marisol! I needed a drop-in with only a couple of days notice, and I was nervous about me not having time to do a meet and greet with my nervous pup. She did a great job letting Argos warm up to her, making sure he got some pets and love, and taking him out twice per visit to ensure he did all his business! She was very quick to respond, on-time, and provided a thorough report card. This anxious dog mom is very happy. ☺️”

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets, from childhood dogs and cats to hands-on work in veterinary clinics. For the past six years, I’ve worked in small animal vet clinics as a kennel technician and veterinary assistant, where I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m experienced in safely and sensitively handling pets who may be anxious, reactive, or uncomfortable with strangers. I’m comfortable administering medications, including insulin injections for diabetic pets, and I have experience caring for senior pets, pets with chronic conditions, those recovering from surgery, and pets on special diets. I also have experience with puppies and can reinforce basic training such as house-training and routine consistency. My clinical background has trained me to read pet body language, recognize stress signals early, and prevent issues before they escalate. You can expect consistent communication and detailed updates while your pet is in my care. I treat every pet like my own while maintaining professional standards, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and trust, for both pets and their owners. I am currently a full-time student, but I am available every weekday morning between 8:00 and 11:00 AM and in the evening from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. I am also available most weekends. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and any special instructions. With my veterinary clinic experience, I prioritize safety by monitoring behavior and health, securing doors and leashes, and preventing stress or hazards. I respect my clients’ homes and provide consistent communication and detailed updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.
About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Canada. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.
“Payton was wonderful. My cat has diabetes and needs very specific care; she was willing to learn how to give him insulin injections and meet his very specific schedule. I was away from home for a longer time; it was such a relief knowing that Payton was back at home caring for my guy.”

“I’ve booked with Isabella a few times now, and she NEVER disappoints! She truly goes above and beyond for my two cats. She spends time playing with them and giving them lots of love during her visits, which I super appreciate since they tend to get quite lonely. She also does a very thorough job making sure everything is as clean and orderly as possible prior to my return home. Always an AMAZING experience booking with her!!”

About: My family has more than 20 years of pet care experience. We have also searched for boarding houses, so I know what pet parents want. A clean boarding house is good for the health of pets, and I clean and disinfect my house every day. My home is close to the park. We take them to the park every day. Exercise is good for the health of pets. I am a graphic designer and usually work at home, so I have more time for pet care. My daughter is a student right now at high school and after school, she can take them on a walk, so we have plenty of time to take care of them. I have a 6-foot fenced yard, also a whole basement for them. They can roam freely in the house, no smoking, and no little kids. I will check them every 2 hours to see if they need anything.
“Ella is a life saver! As always she is great with the animals but this time she went above and beyond. I got my days off by 1 day and after realizing this Ella went onto to our house right away and was able to rearrange out stop ins. It was so relieving to know they were okay!”

“Haylee was prompt and friendly. She was a very good communicator and sent us pictures at every visit. We knew our dogs were being well cared for. We will definately being leaving Haylee in charge of our dogs again! Highly recommend!”

“Andrea & Edwin took wonderful care of our dog. They followed his schedule and took him out on walks so we came home to a happy pup who was still in his normal routine.”

About: Friends and family have relied on me to care for their dogs and cats, trusting me to provide loving, responsible attention whether it’s a quick walk or extended stay. I am currently a law student which means most evenings and weekends are flexible! Perfect for giving pets the attention and care deserved when you can’t be there! I can either do walk, feed or simply spend quality time with your pet! I am conveniently located close to a walking trail, perfect for giving your dog a fun and safe walk!
“Kynnedy completed some drop in visits while I was out of town. She completed the care and feeding for my dogs. She played with them and gave them attentions. She took lots of photos.”

“Mikaela had stepped in and helped me with letting my two dogs out when I lost my regular person. We had a meet and greet at the dog park before the service began and another one at the house. She is very responsible and reliable, plus the pups love her.”

“Kristin was great again! We have used her more than once, this time for just a check-in, feed breakfast, and play a bit for an hour while we were gone for an all-day event. Will always try to use Kristin when we need a Rover.”

About: Caring for animals has always been something I truly love. I’ve spent years helping friends, neighbors, and family take care of their pets, and I treat every animal as if it were my own. I pay close attention to routines, personalities, and energy levels, whether that means long walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. Building trust with both pets and their owners is really important to me, and I take that responsibility seriously. I have a flexible schedule and can adjust to your pet’s routine. I am currently in college but can do whatever works best for you and your dog. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’m very attentive, follow instructions closely, and make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and calm. I respect your home, keep everything clean, and communicate clearly so you always feel confident and at ease while you’re away.
Belmont pet parents share their Rover experiences
Payton watched my cats while I was out of town. She came to meet my cats a couple days before I left town. She did an excellent job taking care of them while I was away. I will definitely have her watch them again sometime and would recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.

This was my very first time using anything like Rover to help take care of my dog partner. Olivia Maximilianus lived up to, and beyond, any expectations I ever had; performing with brilliant helpfulness. Providing professional service above any idea of which that I had going into the situation of needing help feeding my four-legged relative, while I traveled. With the sonic intuition of a bat soaring through the night, she knew what I needed before I could even think of it. With the professional and timely voice of mourning dove, she was prompt and unbelievably reliable. With the cool and calm discipline of a crow crossing a wire over a field of peace lilies, bluegrasses, and dandelions, she left my home and space in a cleaner and more organised way than I had left it. And with the resilience and dedication of V-formed geese, my four-legged family was exercised and engaged in such a good way. Evidenced in her calm and content energy in my return home. Reminding me of the words from my favourite poet, Mary Oliver, in the last verse of her poem titled, October: “One morning the fox came down the hill, glittering and confident, and didn’t see me- and I thought: so this is the world. I’m not in it. It is beautiful.”

Henry was wonderful! I'll be booking with them again, and I feel very safe leaving my cats in their care. They were punctual when we met up for me to show them the ropes, they listened and understood what I was asking for, and they exceeded my expectations of care once I returned! Thanks Henry, looking forward to booking with you again!!

Tami has been taking care of our cats for years and we can't imagine leaving them in the hands of anyone else! One of our cats is 21 years old and is on medications. This trip, Tami came up with another method to administer one of the meds that works much better and we've now adopted that method. In addition to taking care of our cats, Tami is kind enough to also check our mail, water plants, and fill bird feeders and bird bath. Not in her job description but takes the stress away from traveling knowing our cats, and house, are in great hands! Sadly, we lost one of our 3 cats this year and Tami warmed our hearts with a donation in his honor to the Cat House. Tami is a great communicator and always responds to my texts quickly. She is simply the best!
Danielle was a great pet sitter and I’m so lucky I stumbled upon her! I highly recommend her to anyone! She was extremely thorough in her visit reports and seemed to really understand what my cat needed based on her body language and behavior. She was communicative and adapted to my senior cat’s needs.

Infinity and her husband are literal angels! Not only did they take great care of my girl Gracie but they went above and beyond for us. My girl is insanely smart and has figured out how to unlock and open my door and they stayed over extra time and helped me brainstorm a solution to keep her safe in my apartment while I was at work. 10/10 would recommend

Leanne was great with our dogs. I was a first time Rover user and I was super nervous. Leanne took a lot of time to go over things with us and re assured us. I will 100% be using her services again. We didn’t know Leanne before this, but I’m going to give her credit where credit is due! Thanks LeAnne!

Alaina was so professional and helpful! She gave detailed updates and made sure we were up to date on what was happening with our cats. She administered medication well which was a huge help since we have a medically complex cat. We will continue to use her for visits in the future!
