“Jamie was amazing! Our dog loved seeing her and she always gave detailed reports and pictures giving us the peace of mind that everything was good at home. Thank you so much!!!”

“Andrea and Edwin were fantastic. Super friendly and so easy to work with. I booked the wrong day with them and they worked with me to get it fixed ASAP. Highly recommend them to watch your fury friends!”

“Alicia was wonderful! One of my cats, unexpectedly had 2 teeth pulled a couple days before Thanksgiving. Alicia came over to meet and learn about what my cat needed while I was gone. She was incredibly attentive and my cats loved her.”

“We have a complicated cat ecosystem in our home, including a strong-willed cat who needs daily medication, a sensitive cat who needs focused attention, and a wily, wary young cat. Kirsten is reliable, flexible, and a great communicator. Each of our cats was well cared for while we were away, and the updates we received were clear and crafted with care.”

“Ella is a top notch cat sitter and house sitter. She has been a reliable part of our kitty-care for years now, and I don’t know what we’d do without her! We can always count on her to be responsible, flexible, communicative, and so sweet with our kitt-os! Couldn’t recommend more highly.”

About: I have been caring for dogs for 15 years. I recently lost my 2 Babies. One from old age & the other to cancer. I am not ready to adopt another at this time but absolutely love to be around dogs and give them lots of love and care. My family and friends often rely on me for taking care of their pets when needed. I have 1 1/2 years experience handling and grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. I am currently working M-F 8-2, I work just minutes away from my home. I am available any early mornings & afternoon/ evening during the week, and full availability on the weekends. I have an open floor plan, no stairs except for the 2 outside my front door, fully fenced in backyard & I have 2 extra large crates if needed.
“Communication was great. Loki didn't socialize, but Hilary always let me know if she found where she was hiding. Pictures were good, if Loki was found. Hilary was very reliable and I felt very comfortable having her there.”

“Abby has been great with our 3 dogs! We have a wild and unruly pup, a reactive and high-energy border collie, and an aging basset - so it's not exactly easy, yet she sure makes it seem that way. We hope to keep using her services as long as she wants to.”

About: Growing up on a farm, I learned early on that every animal deserves patience and a steady hand. I treat every pet as an equal, whether I’m bottle-feeding a newborn kitten, training a high-energy dog to run alongside me, or simply sitting in the sun to keep a senior pet company. Because I don’t have pets of my own right now, my schedule is completely open. They get 100% of my attention, 100% of the time. Working from home full-time gives me the ultimate flexibility to provide your pet with constant companionship.I have dedicated blocks in the morning, at noon, and in the evening for long walks, play sessions, and feedings. Your pet won't just be 'checked on'—they’ll be part of my daily flow. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is maintaining their sense of security. I follow your 'house rules' to the letter to ensure their routine stays consistent. From refreshing water bowls and administering meds to high-energy play sessions, I handle every task with care. I also make sure your home stays exactly as you left it—secure, clean, and filled with a happy, well-exercised pet.
About: Hi, I’m Kelly! I am a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for cats and dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m here to make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and loved. I believe every pet is unique, so I will accommodate to their needs to the best of my ability. I am a huge advocate for positive reinforcement and respecting your pet’s boundaries. I’d love to meet your pet and give them the same care and love I’d want for my own! :) I’m a full-time UNL student, but I have gaps throughout the day that give me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, and playtime. After classes, I’m available in the evenings for longer visits! Contact me for more information about my availability! I will make sure that your pet is in a safe, cozy, and welcoming environment. They will always have plenty of playtime, potty breaks, and snuggles. I will always keep to their normal feeding and exercise routine so they feel comfortable. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect as my own. I follow all instructions closely whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, or bedtime routines. I will ensure your pet stays happy and stress free in their space.
About: I’ve been helping my grandparents raise dogs for a few years now and have experience taking care of them. My friends also always come to me when they need somebody to take care of their dogs. I love taking care of all kinds of dogs, big or small! My work schedule is currently super flexible for winter break at my university, so I have plenty of time to take care of your critters! You can rest assured that your animals will be my top priority during the holiday season. :) I have experience with building trust with animals that are unfamiliar with me and know how to do sniff tests so they can get used to me in your home. Your home is their space and they need to know that I’m not intruding so they feel safe. :)
About: I have owned a dog if not multiple dogs since I was 5 years old. With three current dogs from a mini dachshund to a medium sized Sheltie to a large husky I am familiar with multiple breeds, ages, and sizes. I currently own my own business so I can fit pet care into a rotating schedule that I build myself whether it is every once in a while or a regular routine for you and your pets. I have a fenced yard, am familiar with walking trails in Lincoln, and crate my current dogs if needed. While only offering dog walking no dogs will be coming into my home.
“Big thank you, Syble! We had a long vacation and Syble made sure that our indoor herd were well taken care of. We will definitely be booking her again for our next trip!”

About: Animals often make more sense to me than humans do! I’ve always loved caring for pets, whether they be my own or someone else’s. I’ve done countless petsitting jobs through friends and community members over my life. In the same way as we should with humans, it is important to be present and aware when working with any animal. Each pet is unique and I truly enjoy getting the opportunity to learn about what makes each one feel safe, loved, and healthy. I also understand how important it is to establish a positive, trusting relationship as soon as possible, especially with dogs, so they can feel secure despite the disruption of their “pack”. Every pet is a precious part of someone’s family. So, as much as I love getting to know each pet and providing you with assurance your loved one is well taken care of, it’s even better to know the care I provide is ensuring a joyful reunion when you return! My full-time work is landscaping, so in the winter months I have a lot of flexibility to offer services throughout the week and during the holidays. A pet’s whole world is their home, so I treat that environment with deep respect. I am their guest as well as their sitter! Therefore, I try to match the energy they are used to. Also, I understand the importance of maintaining as much of your pets routine as possible.
About: I’ve mostly cared for bigger dogs with a lot of energy. I regularly look after my friend’s pets as well as my family’s. I have a dog of my own, she’s very active and friendly. I’ve had her for over a year and learned so much about dogs from being a pet parent. I got to school part-time but I still have quite a bit of time throughout the day for check-ins. The weekends are best for boarding. I like to do dog walking throughout the week. I spend most of my time at home so I don’t mind hosting at my home but I’ll also do care at a client’s home. I do not have a fenced in back yard but I live in an area with a lot of parks and open spaces. I do spend a lot of time outside so I’m comfortable with going out for multiple walks a day. I don’t provide treats of my own unless the owner asks me too or if they tell me what they’re okay with their pet eating. I don’t give pets food I’m eating because I don’t want them to choke or they could get sick.
Bishop Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alicia was timely in her visists and sent dialysis photos. Upon returning home they were not stressed and we were able to just slip into our return. Jo's first request was to go outside. Blue just wanted treats and snuggles. I will recommend Rover and Alicia to family and friends.

Emily was amazing! She communicated daily, sent pictures of Frankie and Charlie, and took wonderful care of them while I was away. She fed them, cleaned the litter box, and gave Charlie his medication with no issues. She is kind, friendly, and trustworthy, and because of her I was able to truly relax and enjoy my vacation. I will absolutely use her again and highly recommend her!

This was my very first time using anything like Rover to help take care of my dog partner. Olivia Maximilianus lived up to, and beyond, any expectations I ever had; performing with brilliant helpfulness. Providing professional service above any idea of which that I had going into the situation of needing help feeding my four-legged relative, while I traveled. With the sonic intuition of a bat soaring through the night, she knew what I needed before I could even think of it. With the professional and timely voice of mourning dove, she was prompt and unbelievably reliable. With the cool and calm discipline of a crow crossing a wire over a field of peace lilies, bluegrasses, and dandelions, she left my home and space in a cleaner and more organised way than I had left it. And with the resilience and dedication of V-formed geese, my four-legged family was exercised and engaged in such a good way. Evidenced in her calm and content energy in my return home. Reminding me of the words from my favourite poet, Mary Oliver, in the last verse of her poem titled, October: “One morning the fox came down the hill, glittering and confident, and didn’t see me- and I thought: so this is the world. I’m not in it. It is beautiful.”

Henry was wonderful! I'll be booking with them again, and I feel very safe leaving my cats in their care. They were punctual when we met up for me to show them the ropes, they listened and understood what I was asking for, and they exceeded my expectations of care once I returned! Thanks Henry, looking forward to booking with you again!!

Tami has been taking care of our cats for years and we can't imagine leaving them in the hands of anyone else! One of our cats is 21 years old and is on medications. This trip, Tami came up with another method to administer one of the meds that works much better and we've now adopted that method. In addition to taking care of our cats, Tami is kind enough to also check our mail, water plants, and fill bird feeders and bird bath. Not in her job description but takes the stress away from traveling knowing our cats, and house, are in great hands! Sadly, we lost one of our 3 cats this year and Tami warmed our hearts with a donation in his honor to the Cat House. Tami is a great communicator and always responds to my texts quickly. She is simply the best!
Kelly has taken wonderful care of our cats. She gets both cat’s personalities and takes time to give them both their preferred forms of attention. Kelly also sends delightful updates with every visit, which make us feel better when we have to leave our little beasts.

Danielle was a great pet sitter and I’m so lucky I stumbled upon her! I highly recommend her to anyone! She was extremely thorough in her visit reports and seemed to really understand what my cat needed based on her body language and behavior. She was communicative and adapted to my senior cat’s needs.

5⭐️ couldn’t recommend Kayla enough. My 2 little dogs loved her and she did a great job, on time, sent lots of pics, updates, and was always on time! It is such a weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that I don’t need to worry about my dogs while away! Will be biking Kayla again for sure!
