“Kirstin and my dog, Winnie, got along great!! My dog is seven years old, and we've never used a dog sitter besides my mom until now, so I was extra nervous and very cautious. Kirstin was a true professional, and we would (and already have) recommend her to our friends and family! She was on time, organized, honest, and followed all of our care instructions. Kirstin administered Winnie’s multiple medications exactly as directed. My family truly enjoyed all of Kirstin’s photo updates, and Winnie enjoyed all the walks, snuggles, and pets!! Olivia works 2 to 8 usually but other than that we like to watch tv and go on walks so we will be at the house often!! During house-sitting stays, I follow your established routines as closely as possible to keep your pet feeling secure and at ease in their own environment. I'll ensure doors, gates, and any containment areas are secure at all times, and I always keep emergency contact information and your vet's details on hand should anything come up. For dog walks, I keep dogs leashed and under close supervision at all times, paying attention to their comfort level and energy throughout the walk. I never push a dog beyond what they're comfortable with and always make sure they're safely returned home before I leave. For in-home check-ins, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food per your instructions, and plenty of attention before I go. I'll always leave your home exactly as I found it and provide updates so you have peace of mind while you're away. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so your pet gets the benefit of staying in the comfort of their own familiar environment — which is often the least stressful option for them.

About: I've dog sat for various families over the years. I've house sat 3 different times, and have experience with senior dogs needing extra care (medicine, cleaning, etc.) I also have experience watching up to three dogs at once. I have family and friends willing to assist me in case of emergencies, as well. I know some dog first aid, including CPR and Heimlich. Once I graduate from college and finish my summer classes in September, my schedule will be completely open! I don't have any regular weekly commitments, so I can spend as much time with your pet(s) as needed! I like to spend as much time with pets as possible, even if that just means sitting in the same room as them while we each do our own things.
