“Ella is an awesome sitter for our cats! They must have remembered her because they warmed right up on her first visit and demanded pets and attention after every dinner. Ella kept us informed with messages and pictures at every visit and took care of a couple of minor things that came up so we could enjoy our trip without worry. We will definitely book Ella again and we recommend her without reservation!”

“Alissa always has the most thorough updates on my pup when I am gone. She is attentive to detail and takes her time with him while she is there. She is such a blessing to our family!”

“Hillary’s regular updates gave me sense of security while I was away from my kitties. When I got home, they were happy to see me but they presented like I’d been gone for a short errand. They were very well taken care of while I was away!”

“Jamie is a wonderful and caring person who loves animals. Our dog is very shy, but she and Jamie hit it off and was well taken care while we were gone. Highly recommend! Thanks again for taking such good care of Missy.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old, including feeding, walking, playing, and basic care routines. I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping them comfortable and well cared for. I’m currently in graduate school and have extra flexibility throughout my days, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I love staying active and enjoy walks, playtime, and keeping pets engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks or potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. I make sure pets feel comfortable and safe in their own space, keep the home tidy, and provide updates and photos to owners.
About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Canada. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.
About: Hi there! I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was about 10, and I’ve had dogs in my life ever since. I can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a furry face waiting for me at home. Over the years, I’ve watched friends’ and neighbors’ pets, and I’ve cared for dogs of all ages — from bouncy puppies to slow-moving seniors who just want snuggles and a soft bed. I’m also comfortable handling medical care if your dog needs a little extra help. I’ve given subcutaneous fluids, medications, and helped care for senior and special needs pets. One of our own pups lived to 16, and we learned a lot about keeping older dogs happy and comfortable along the way. We do have a 4 year old boy, so any pets we accept into our home needs to be ok with small children. We also will utilize a crate for any dogs in our care if we aren’t home for our dog and your dogs safety. At this time, we are not able to accommodate high energy breeds. We have a securely fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor time, and I work from home several days a week — so your dog will have company, playtime, and plenty of love throughout the day. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new, and I promise to care for them just like I do my own. I’d love to meet your pup and give them a happy, relaxed stay while you’re away. 🐾 I work from home most days so I am able to provide dogs without outdoor time often throughout the day! If I’m not at home, I’m just a few minutes away and able to come home for potty breaks. We have a lovable cuddly goldendoodle who loves playing with other dogs. Your pet would be a part of the family. We want them to feel happy and secure while you are away.
“Isabella was AMAZING!! She took such great care of my fluffy boy. She went above and beyond to make my little guy feel loved and cared for. She provided litter box upkeep, wet & dry food auto feeder refilling, and water bowl cleaning. She brushed him and gave home lots of pets and cuddles. She made sure he had things to keep him occupied such as his puzzle toys also was sure to recharge his chaser toys. Isabella was great and I will be sure to hire her for my next rover service.”

About: I’ve spent years caring for animals—raising multiple dog and cat breeds, being the trusted friend who watches everyone’s pets, and even working as a pre-vet student and zookeeper for tigers and wolves. I now have my own husky and two cats, and I’m confident, calm, and experienced with pets of all personalities, needs, and energy levels. Because I work remotely full-time, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I can easily rotate between work and pet care, fitting in walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins whenever needed. My availability stays steady, so your pet gets reliable company, structure, and care from morning to evening. I Will be able to work with you on the comfort and needs of your pets based on mutual available resources and your pets training.
“Eric did a great job with our dog, Baxter! He was on time, sent us photos and was easy to communicate with. This was our first time using Rover and Eric made it easy! Will definitely be using Eric again! Thank you!!”

“For a casual, last minute drop in to look in on Cassie on Mothers Day, Trish was extremely helpful and accomodating. She walked Cassie during her visit, kept notes, and sent a photo. Cassie seemed well pleased.”

About: I’ve mostly cared for bigger dogs with a lot of energy. I regularly look after my friend’s pets as well as my family’s. I have a dog of my own, she’s very active and friendly. I’ve had her for over a year and learned so much about dogs from being a pet parent. I got to school part-time but I still have quite a bit of time throughout the day for check-ins. The weekends are best for boarding. I like to do dog walking throughout the week. I spend most of my time at home so I don’t mind hosting at my home but I’ll also do care at a client’s home. I do not have a fenced in back yard but I live in an area with a lot of parks and open spaces. I do spend a lot of time outside so I’m comfortable with going out for multiple walks a day. I don’t provide treats of my own unless the owner asks me too or if they tell me what they’re okay with their pet eating. I don’t give pets food I’m eating because I don’t want them to choke or they could get sick.
“Abbey has been great to work with. She visits my dog every day to let her outside while I’m at work. She leaves a note and takes photos during every visit and has been great about communicating.”

“We have a complicated cat ecosystem in our home, including a strong-willed cat who needs daily medication, a sensitive cat who needs focused attention, and a wily, wary young cat. Kirsten is reliable, flexible, and a great communicator. Each of our cats was well cared for while we were away, and the updates we received were clear and crafted with care.”

“Abby has been great with our 3 dogs! We have a wild and unruly pup, a reactive and high-energy border collie, and an aging basset - so it's not exactly easy, yet she sure makes it seem that way. We hope to keep using her services as long as she wants to.”

Maple Village-Wedgewood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jamie was amazing! She took great care of both of our dogs and our cat while we were on a trip and kept us super updated, especially with our elderly dog. All of our pets warmed up to her super quickly and we could tell they were well loved while we were away. Thank you!!

Isabella has helped us with our pups for a couple years now. She is so dependable and goes the extra mile. She is always willing to do the little things that matter so much. She also takes the best photos to share when we are missing our pups! I recommend Isabella!

Ashley and Kyle have watched our dog in their home several times, and have also done drop service to let our dog out during the day while we were out of town for several days. We trust them to take great care of our dog, and trust them to come into our home when we are away. We highly recommend them to whomever needs boarding or drop-in services. They are awesome!
