We were very pleased that they wanted to meet my wife and I and Wrigley prior to agreeing to take care of him. We wanted to mee them first also. It was clear in the first five minutes that they love dogs and took their job very serious. We booked and they took outstanding care of our boy, the report cards were peace of mind and the pics relaxed us. He was always happy and engaged looking. “Hilary was communicative by sending a message when she was going to be about 15 min late to a drop in which is no big deal because we didn't need exact times, but I appreciate her letting me know, regardless. She was also flexible when I needed to push our first drop in time back a few hours because we left later than we thought. Our dog and cat were well taken care of despite the fact that our animals were a bit gruffy about having a stranger drop in. The only thing I would change is I wish we got more pictures, but that is something I could have communicated more before we left, so it's no big deal. I also appreciated her doing a meet and greet beforehand and she was very sweet with our pup during that time. Thanks so much for watching them - especially with all the snow we got!”

“Madison has been caring for my cat when we travel since we got her two years ago. She not only does the basics of feeding and cleaning her litter box, she also plays with her and comforts her when needed. Madison is very dependable, keeping the cat on her feeding schedule and following any other directions I provide. She also does a good job of texting us with updates and pictures. Madison also walks through my home each day to make sure there are no issues in my absence. I am much more comfortable traveling knowing Madison is taking care of my cat.”

About: I have had a pet in my life ever since I was born and I have had a myriad of pets over the course of my life. My pets have included dogs, cats, rodents of all kinds, birds, fish, and reptiles. I have worked and cared for the animals at the Capital Humane Society, Petco (I was also a dog trainer), and Pioneers Park Nature Center. I currently have a house full of dogs of my own and frequently dog sit my grandpuppies whenever my daughter and son-in-law need me to do so. I have also recently taken an interest in dog grooming, but I am still learning. Currently I am a stay-at-home-mom and all of my kiddos are in school full time, so my schedule is fairly flexible. The only parts of my schedule not flexible are school drop-off and pick up. Occasionally I have to help care for my 94-yo grandmother when my aunt is unavailable to do so, but that is not often. I care for pets in the manner requested by their owners, but I also like to spend time with each animal and make a connection with them. Getting to know a pet's personality helps me provide the best care outside of the basics. I am always happy to take pictures and/or video as requested by the owners as well.
