From the start, communication was excellent, they kept us updated with frequent messages and lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dogs were very well cared for and happy. Our French bulldogs are not quite a year old yet, so they still have some of the challenges that come with being puppies, but the sitters were wonderful with them. They seemed completely comfortable and relaxed, and it was obvious they were treated like part of the family. About: We have been owners of a golden retriever for 6 years and are experienced with the needs of dogs. I have also watched friends dogs many times while they were out of town. I'm a homeschooled mom who will have a lot of time during the day to give your dog love and attention. My own dog spends lots of time outside enjoying fresh air and squirrels. We always had dogs while growing up, which eventually grew into also having cats, mice, lizards, etc. I turned this personal love of animals into a profession by spending many years working in pet boarding/daycare facilities, pet shelters, and by pet sitting on the side. About: I’ve lived my whole life with at least one pet in the house and shared responsibility in caring for him or her. I took in my own pupper, Benji, in the summer of 2020 as a 4-month-old puppy and trained him myself. My husband and I also have a precious cat named Princess who rules the roost :) We love our fur family, and I/we can’t wait to love on yours! I work a regular 8-5 job that has some flexibility in the morning and afternoon (I can come in later and leave earlier if I need to). I’m free most evenings and weekends. I can take care of pets in my apartment for a short period, but they have to be ok with cats and dogs. I have a cat tree and a litter box, and I take my small dog on a walk 3x a day. About: Ever since I was little, I've enjoyed the sassy goings-ons of my parents' cats. I've been with them through it all, including the eventual incontinence and myriad of medications. As much as I love dogs and their childlike innocence, I also love the teenager-angst and aloofness cats seem to flaunt. I will happily give them all the lovins' in the world, but only if they seem cool with it-- otherwise, I know when a cat wants its space, you give it to them with a salute of respect. (Unless it's for something important like medication, of course)

About: My wife and I both grew up with multiple dogs in our families. My wife grew up on a farm with mostly outside cattle dogs and I grew up in the city with mostly inside dogs. When we got married we got a dog of our own. She was our baby until we had kids of our own. She was then the best big sister to our daughters the rest of her life. We have owned 2 boxers in the time that we have been married and truly loved our time with them. We have realized as our 3 girls have gotten older and super involved in activities, we no longer have time for a dog of our own. That is what has brought us to Rover. We would be available to have dogs in our home or to drive to your home. We would not be able to do any overnights in your home, but would welcome dogs to stay over night in our home. We live in a split level house, so there is no way to avoid stairs. We have a big fenced in backyard with a play set, trampoline, and above ground pool. About: When I was growing up babysit for my brothers bestfriend. I would have to walk the dogs and it got her energy out as well. :) I have 5 cats and I have to change their litter daily, feed them twice a day , give them love and attention. I decided when I was very young that I wanted to make a career out of rescuing abused, disabled, and neglected animals who need help; I still think about this dream today, at 20 years old. For all my life, I've had a dog, cat, or critter to come home to. I'm willing and able to go on walks, though prefer not to walk too much on days above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or below 30. As far as I'm concerned, I'm willing and able to do anything your animal may need. I care about every animal companion, and will do my best to make their lives as enjoyable as possible. I would even be willing to try caring for an animal that may act somewhat aggressive, as long as they don't have a history of serious injuries, seeing as I'm not trained to defuse an attitude such as that yet. Usually I only get morning shifts which are 3 hours on average, 6 hours tops. I would let you know if I'm going to be away for longer! Otherwise, I try not to leave my wards for more than 4-5 hours just out of caution. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for family friends for years. My girlfriend and I love meeting new fur babies and getting to play with them! I work 1:30 to 5:30 every week day at the bank! Olivia works 2 to 8 usually but other than that we like to watch tv and go on walks so we will be at the house often!! I send photos of pets and make sure the owner is at ease for the whole time we are there! I am very responsive to texts if there are any issues/updates. I am comfortable with kenneling dogs at night or having them sleep on the bed!

About: I live in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood that allows us to go on long, quiet walks. In addition, to walks we can play outside in our fenced yard, playing catch or fetching the ball or just lying in the sun enjoying ourselves. If you dog is older and just likes to have a relaxing day on the couch we can do that too. What ever you prefer your dog to do, I can give them. Their preferred schedules will be maintained for them and make sure that your dog gets extra love while you are gone. About: Most people babysit growing up, I was the local petsitter instead. Now I’m the go-to petsitter for my friends and colleagues, looking to help others! I have experience petsitting both cats and dogs! My main summer job is research, so the hours I’m available are very flexible. I make my own schedule so I can make myself available for most times! About: We have been owners of a golden retriever for 6 years and are experienced with the needs of dogs. I have also watched friends dogs many times while they were out of town. About: I’ve lived my whole life with at least one pet in the house and shared responsibility in caring for him or her. I took in my own pupper, Benji, in the summer of 2020 as a 4-month-old puppy and trained him myself. My husband and I also have a precious cat named Princess who rules the roost :) We love our fur family, and I/we can’t wait to love on yours! I work a regular 8-5 job that has some flexibility in the morning and afternoon (I can come in later and leave earlier if I need to). I’m free most evenings and weekends. I can take care of pets in my apartment for a short period, but they have to be ok with cats and dogs. I have a cat tree and a litter box, and I take my small dog on a walk 3x a day. I would do the same or more for my clients. I also expect my clients to line out any needs and rules for me in their homes and/or for their pets so I can take care of them as desired.
