“I highly recommend David and Shelly! Kobe my Aussie had a great time with them! They have a big fenced backyard Kobe ran around in. He provided great communication and updates. Very caring. Felt 110% comfortable the whole time! Will use them again!”

“We are so thankful and happy with the wonderful care our pup got while we were out of town. Would recommend Shawn and Melissa to anyone looking for a great place for their dog to stay!”

“Jenny's house has such an organic and welcoming environment for dogs. While leaving, my rescue watched out the rear window as we drove away; a clear sign he wanted to stay, and utterly remarkable given how reluctant he normally is around children”

“Jamie was communicative, provided consistent updates, and was flexible when my travel plans fell apart. I felt that my puppy was well taken care of, and I would trust her again to look after my puppy!”

“We loved having Amy watch our pup, Harper! We have an especially timid dog who usually doesn't like strangers, but seemed to really do well under Amy's care. Harper was nice and tired when we picked her up from playing with all the other dogs! We were very pleased with her stay and would definitely use her again.”

“Nathan is fantastic! He sent pictures and videos throughout and my pup seemed to have a blast! He went to a dog bar, played with neighborhood kids and even helped with yard work.”

“We did a meet & greet ahead of time so I was immediately comfortable Molly would be well cared for. She loved the giant backyard and the doggie door. I will gladly use them for dog care in the future.”

“Aspen was great! This was our first time taking our dog there and we will definitely be going back. We received lots of pictures throughout the weekend and she even took him to the dog park to burn some energy. Overall this was a great experience.”

“Jamie and Daniel were very nice and accommodating. We'll prepared with note cards of the dogs info and apple air tags for the dogs. Sent daily pics of the dogs. Would definitely use them again.”

I'm a homeschooled mom who will have a lot of time during the day to give your dog love and attention. My own dog spends lots of time outside enjoying fresh air and squirrels. “Sidney & Shelby are amazing!! They loved on our dog and treated her like royalty! River loved being there and felt like she was at home! We cannot recommend them enough!! Thank you ladies!! You two are incredible!!!!❤️❤️🐶”

“Ashley and Kyle watched our miniature poodle in their apartment overnight and we couldn’t be more pleased. He’s an energetic dog, but they kept him busy. They had toys for him to play with, took him on walks, and he loved playing with their dog. They also sent us several pics to let us know how he was doing. They even provided a small bag of dog treats to take home and wrote a very nice, thoughtful thank you card which they put in the bag with our dog’s stuff. We would be delighted for them to watch our pup again, and we highly recommend them to anyone else looking for someone to watch their dog.”

“I’m always nervous about leaving my dog but I quickly felt comfortable and Danae sent photos every day of my little guy enjoying himself. It went well and I’m a return customer, which speaks volumes.”

“Sarah is absolutely wonderful. She and her family invited my pup into their home and treated him like he was one of their own. She kept me up to date on how he was doing, sent lots of pictures, spoiled him with treats, and allowed him to get comfortable in her home. I’ll absolutely have Sarah watch my pup again when I need a sitter.”

“Lori took great care of Rosie while we were out of town for the weekend. She kept us updated and even sent a few photos. I would definitely recommend her to friends looking for a pet sitter.”

About: Growing up on a farm, I learned early on that every animal deserves patience and a steady hand. I treat every pet as an equal, whether I’m bottle-feeding a newborn kitten, training a high-energy dog to run alongside me, or simply sitting in the sun to keep a senior pet company. Because I don’t have pets of my own right now, my schedule is completely open. They get 100% of my attention, 100% of the time. Working from home full-time gives me the ultimate flexibility to provide your pet with constant companionship.I have dedicated blocks in the morning, at noon, and in the evening for long walks, play sessions, and feedings. Your pet won't just be 'checked on'—they’ll be part of my daily flow. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is maintaining their sense of security. I follow your 'house rules' to the letter to ensure their routine stays consistent. From refreshing water bowls and administering meds to high-energy play sessions, I handle every task with care. I also make sure your home stays exactly as you left it—secure, clean, and filled with a happy, well-exercised pet.

“Abbey was very punctual and communicative. She made us feel like our cat was in great hands while we were gone. She sent multiple pictures a day and was very kind and respectful to our home.”

“Kelly is a bona fide feline specialist. A true cat whisperer. Our two cats are not the most social cats, to say the least, and Kelly made friends with them with unbelievable ease. She is gentle, patient and very thorough in her care. It’s an incredible gift to find someone truly reliable to care for your kitties when you’re away and I will be rebooking her every time we are. Thank you for being awesome, Kelly.”

“Amy was caring, took great care of my kitty. She sent a photo of Noah playing while I was out of town and I knew my cat enjoyed staying with her. I would definitely ask Amy to watch Noah again.”

“Ashley is lovely! She is punctual, respectful, friendly, & absolutely loves our pup! She has done everything we’ve asked of her and is very helpful. Highly recommend her 😊”

“Tuffy looks happy and well cared for, which really stood out to me. David seems very comfortable and confident handling dogs. It’s clear he actually spends quality time with the dogs rather than just keeping them around, and that makes a big difference. We are grateful.”

“Can’t say enough about how pleased we were with how much Jamie is a wonderful dog caregiver. We have a very active Springer Spaniel that is still in puppy mode and in new surroundings is very much on the move checking out everything. Jamie & Dans home is setup perfectly for pets with all types of personalities. She even took the time to introduce our dog to cats. We’ve been looking for a River home that makes our dog comfortable and accommodating to a dog with separation anxiety and a need for attention plus the ability to mix with other pets and people. Can’t wait for the next time for our dog to have another visit.”

“Simply a wonderfull amazing women. She truly loved my dog as she would her own. If it wasnt cause shes already been pre booked. I would have kept her as my primary sitter moving forward. But even disregarding that she will always be someone I'll keep an eye out for. She is reliable people to care for a pet”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience. Shawn and Melissa took excellent care of Max and we will definitely be using there services again.”

About: I am an experienced Veterinary Technician that has worked in the industry for 10 years. I had my own pet sitting and dog walking business in Texas for 6 years before moving to the great state of Nebraska. If selected to take care of your fur babies, I will provide detailed accounts of the interaction that I will have with your pets. I am able to give medications and provide basic medical care. You will be alerted when I notice any sign of illness. You will also be notified when they are being cute. My goal is to provide the best care possible while you are away. Be prepared! Your pup will be tired when they return home.
“Infinity was wonderful to work with! It was clear immediately that she cared for my pup and made sure she was comfortable in her home. She provided regular updates and photos and even gave my pup a bath after play time ended in the mud 🤦🏻♀️ I am so thankful our first pet sitting experience with this dog was with Infinity!”

About: My wife and I both grew up with multiple dogs in our families. My wife grew up on a farm with mostly outside cattle dogs and I grew up in the city with mostly inside dogs. When we got married we got a dog of our own. She was our baby until we had kids of our own. She was then the best big sister to our daughters the rest of her life. We have owned 2 boxers in the time that we have been married and truly loved our time with them. We have realized as our 3 girls have gotten older and super involved in activities, we no longer have time for a dog of our own. That is what has brought us to Rover. We would love the opportunity to care for other people dogs in a way that works with our crazy schedule. My wife and I are both teachers and coaches. During the school year we are very busy teaching, coaching, and running our 3 daughters to activities. During the summer our schedule slows way down. We are usually home during the the week and at the lake on the weekend. All/most of my family would be available for pet care Monday-Friday during the summer. We would be available to have dogs in our home or to drive to your home. We would not be able to do any overnights in your home, but would welcome dogs to stay over night in our home. We live in a split level house, so there is no way to avoid stairs. We have a big fenced in backyard with a play set, trampoline, and above ground pool. We live in a quite neighborhood on a side street. We have lots of houses around us with dogs and lots of dogs in the neighborhood. My wife takes long walks daily and would love to have a canine companion. My 3 girls love animals and will spoil all dogs with love and attention.
“We really appreciated that Jadyn was able to take care of our Roxie last minute. We love that he is really fast in responding back and adaptive to our schedule (which is super helpful). On top of that he is really polite and respectful and Roxie loved him since the moment she saw him :)))”

About: I’ve dealt with almost any kind of cat or dog from sick kittens that needed fostering, to old dogs in need of medication. I love all pets! I am available any day or time of the week! I am a full time college student but I am only required on campus for tests, so you need something I’m there! Any special needs I am okay taking care of! Playtime and stimulation is important to me and for any pets’ wellbeing. I welcome all ages and sizes of pets.
About: I am a School Counselor and love doing Rover as a fun side gig. I have been a dog owner for the past ten years, as well as a trained therapy dog handler. I know pets are like family, and you need trusted and reliable care while you are away or working long hours. I have open/flexible summer hours June until mid-August. Open for day time care, walks, and check ins as well as overnight care. Boarding and doggy day care in the country club neighborhood if dogs get along with mine and can be around a 3 year old! I have a fenced backyard and two golden retrievers (5 and 6 years old). Due to also having a 3 year old, I prefer to care for animals in their home but can be flexible depending on animal temperament towards children.
About: I have had my fair share of pet sitting including my neighbors 4 cats, 2 dogs, hedgehog, lizard, 2 birds , and much more! There isn’t much I can’t handle. I currently have nothing going on during the days until September when I start my doctorate program. So I will be home all day for your pets! I’ve had pets my entire life and know the struggle on leaving your baby with a stranger! I want to provide comfort to both you and your animal while you’re away and do everything I can to make your trips easier. I have had animals my whole life, including a very picky dog who I love dearly. So I’m not a stranger to weird requests to comfort your dog

About: Most people babysit growing up, I was the local petsitter instead. Now I’m the go-to petsitter for my friends and colleagues, looking to help others! I have experience petsitting both cats and dogs! My main summer job is research, so the hours I’m available are very flexible. I make my own schedule so I can make myself available for most times! I’ve cared for lots of pets of varying age and need ranges, so I am equipped to do whatever is needed for pets to thrive while their owners are away. I am used to taking dogs on long walks or snuggling under a blanket, and I have two very particular cats of my own so I know how to get kitties eating, playing, and comfortable!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for family friends for years. My girlfriend and I love meeting new fur babies and getting to play with them! I work 1:30 to 5:30 every week day at the bank! Olivia works 2 to 8 usually but other than that we like to watch tv and go on walks so we will be at the house often!! I send photos of pets and make sure the owner is at ease for the whole time we are there! I am very responsive to texts if there are any issues/updates. I am comfortable with kenneling dogs at night or having them sleep on the bed!

“I have been using Andrea and Edwin for awhile now and they are so wonderful to work with. I usually request them when I have to have my boyfriend’s dog with me for extended days, but they are still sending me pictures of my cat who wasn’t part of the request. They are efficient in communication and flexible in timing and if something comes up. Highly recommend them for your pet needs!”

About: I've dog sat for various families over the years. I've house sat 3 different times, and have experience with senior dogs needing extra care (medicine, cleaning, etc.) I also have experience watching up to three dogs at once. I have family and friends willing to assist me in case of emergencies, as well. I know some dog first aid, including CPR and Heimlich. Once I graduate from college and finish my summer classes in September, my schedule will be completely open! I don't have any regular weekly commitments, so I can spend as much time with your pet(s) as needed! I like to spend as much time with pets as possible, even if that just means sitting in the same room as them while we each do our own things.
About: I have taken care of many family and friends dogs. I treat them like they’re mine own. I go out of my way to make them feel happy. I’m retired so my days and evenings are open to care for your pets. My hours are very flexible. Time with your pet will be the best part of my day. I love to walk, so your dog will get as much walking in as he or she wants. Their schedule will be my schedule. There are lots of dogs in my neighborhood, so your fur baby will meet new friends.

I make sure doors are locked, routines are followed, and your furry friend stays safe, happy, and comfortable at all times.
About: I love animals and am committed to giving them enriching lives. While your pet is in my care, you can expect them to play a variety of brain-engaging games, eat out of puzzle feeders, and receive undivided love and affection! I work a very flexible job that allows me to fit in walks and drop-in visits whenever needed. There are no times that are too early or too late for my schedule! I will follow any procedures and protocols you have put in place for your pet. Your pet's routine is important to me and them! “She is easy to work with and shows up when she agrees to. My dog is happy to see her when she arrives and is so much calmer after a good walk with Kristin. This has been so helpful after back surgery. My pup is very customer.”

About: I live in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood that allows us to go on long, quiet walks. In addition, to walks we can play outside in our fenced yard, playing catch or fetching the ball or just lying in the sun enjoying ourselves. If you dog is older and just likes to have a relaxing day on the couch we can do that too. What ever you prefer your dog to do, I can give them. Their preferred schedules will be maintained for them and make sure that your dog gets extra love while you are gone. I am able to host any size dog for you and trust me they will feel as if they are a part of the family as well. Can't wait to meet you and your dog.
“I am recovering from shoulder replacement and Ella is taking my sweet Emma for walks while I am recuperating. She is very professional and Emma is excited every time. Yes I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Ella. I really appreciate you.”

About: I’ve mostly cared for bigger dogs with a lot of energy. I regularly look after my friend’s pets as well as my family’s. I have a dog of my own, she’s very active and friendly. I’ve had her for over a year and learned so much about dogs from being a pet parent. I got to school part-time but I still have quite a bit of time throughout the day for check-ins. The weekends are best for boarding. I like to do dog walking throughout the week. I spend most of my time at home so I don’t mind hosting at my home but I’ll also do care at a client’s home. I do not have a fenced in back yard but I live in an area with a lot of parks and open spaces. I do spend a lot of time outside so I’m comfortable with going out for multiple walks a day. I don’t provide treats of my own unless the owner asks me too or if they tell me what they’re okay with their pet eating. I don’t give pets food I’m eating because I don’t want them to choke or they could get sick.

About: Hi, I'm McGivney! My passion for animal care started all the way back in the 5th grade when I landed my first pet-sitting job letting out a neighbor's dog. Throughout my childhood, I continued looking after pets for my neighbors, building a reputation for being reliable, attentive, and caring. Today, I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). In my professional life, I love developing deep, trusting relationships with people, and I bring that exact same dedication, patience, and meticulous attention to detail when caring for animals. Because of my medical background, I am incredibly comfortable following strict care schedules, following complex routines, and administering oral medications precisely. I truly love all creatures! Beyond dogs and cats, I have experience handling and caring for a wide variety of animals, including fish, bearded dragons, geckos, frogs, and snakes. Whether your pet has fur, scales, or fins, I am super comfortable meeting their unique needs and ensuring they feel safe, loved, and properly looked after. I live in a comfortable, clean 700 sq. ft. apartment and strictly host only one cat or dog client family at a time to guarantee your pet gets my undivided attention and a stress-free environment. I can't wait to meet your animals and provide you with absolute peace of mind while you are away! Because I work in healthcare, my daily schedule varies, which actually makes me highly adaptable! No matter what my day looks like, your pet's established routine is my top priority. A typical day of care includes structured feeding times, plenty of fresh water, regular bathroom breaks, and dedicated one-on-one attention. I love staying active, so if I am walking or drop-sitting a dog, we will go on fun neighborhood walks and have plenty of playtime. If I am sitting a cat or a reptile, I focus on spending quality, calm time with them, respecting their space, and keeping their environment clean and secure. Pet parents can expect absolute reliability, clear communication, and total peace of mind. I know how stressful it can be to leave your family member with someone new, so I send daily photo updates and quick text check-ins after every visit or walk. My home is a clean, calm, and smoke-free environment. Safety and trust are the absolute core of my pet-sitting philosophy. Coming from a CNA background, I am professionally trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, monitor well-being, and maintain a highly organized, clean environment. When pets are in my 700-square-foot apartment, they enjoy a calm and securely enclosed space. To ensure maximum safety and a stress-free environment, I enforce a strict policy of only hosting one dog or cat family at a time—your pet will never be forced to share space with another strange cat or dog. Out on walks, your dog's safety is my top priority. I always keep dogs securely attached to standard, heavy-duty leashes (I never use unpredictable retractable leashes) and maintain complete awareness of our surroundings to avoid any tense interactions with off-leash neighborhood dogs. For small animals, reptiles, and cats, I ensure all enclosures are double-checked and entry doors are tightly secured before anyone is let out for supervised stretching or play. I treat your pets with the same high level of protective care and responsibility I use every day in my healthcare career.

About: Even in childhood, I've loved animals. I decided when I was very young that I wanted to make a career out of rescuing abused, disabled, and neglected animals who need help; I still think about this dream today, at 20 years old. For all my life, I've had a dog, cat, or critter to come home to. I'm willing and able to go on walks, though prefer not to walk too much on days above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or below 30. As far as I'm concerned, I'm willing and able to do anything your animal may need. I care about every animal companion, and will do my best to make their lives as enjoyable as possible. I would even be willing to try caring for an animal that may act somewhat aggressive, as long as they don't have a history of serious injuries, seeing as I'm not trained to defuse an attitude such as that yet. I am also, of course, willing to care for your home through small time chores as long as I am there. Right now, I'm a sandwich slinger at Subway. Usually I only get morning shifts which are 3 hours on average, 6 hours tops. I would let you know if I'm going to be away for longer! Otherwise, I try not to leave my wards for more than 4-5 hours just out of caution. I generally prefer to petsit outside my home, since our pets aren't always awesome with new friends... but I'm always willing to come to your place, granted we (of course) meet beforehand so I can get a lay of the land and your pets can assess me. I will do my best to keep routines just the same for your pet, as well as ensure that the house is NOT messed up. I will keep in touch with you with pictures and updates! (Unless you don't need that, of course!)

“Lori took great care of Rosie while we were out of town for the weekend. She kept us updated and even sent a few photos. I would definitely recommend her to friends looking for a pet sitter.”

“Ryleigh was great. She's a genuine animal lover. She boarded my kitty for a week and everything went smoothly. She sent photo updates, which was greatly appreciated since I was pretty nervous about sending my cat off to be boarded for the first time. I will definitely reach out and have her board my cat again if the situation arises. Thanks Ryleigh!”

“Marie was so great and sweet with Kenzo! She sent us updates of our boy with pictures and videos and we really appreciated that. Kenzo is not really affectionate, so it was a great to see the connection that our boy had with Marie. We will definitely rebook with her in the future!”
