Animals often make more sense to me than humans do! I’ve always loved caring for pets, whether they be my own or someone else’s. I’ve done countless petsitting jobs through friends and community members over my life. In the same way as we should with humans, it is important to be present and aware when working with any animal. Each pet is unique and I truly enjoy getting the opportunity to learn about what makes each one feel safe, loved, and healthy. I also understand how important it is to establish a positive, trusting relationship as soon as possible, especially with dogs, so they can feel secure despite the disruption of their “pack”. Every pet is a precious part of someone’s family. So, as much as I love getting to know each pet and providing you with assurance your loved one is well taken care of, it’s even better to know the care I provide is ensuring a joyful reunion when you return!

A pet’s whole world is their home, so I treat that environment with deep respect. I am their guest as well as their sitter! Therefore, I try to match the energy they are used to. Also, I understand the importance of maintaining as much of your pets routine as possible.

This girl is amazing. Great communication... Flexible with times. My Dharma absolutely loves her. Waits at the door for her to arrive. If you need a dog walker ... This is your person. I would also trust her with sitting though I havent had the need to use her yet in that category. You won't go wrong with Jennifer.
Jennifer was amazing with our 3 set-in-their-ways pooches. She got them walked and fed as instructed and went above the bar to snuggle them and do extra chores around the house while we were gone all week! We had no worries as she sent check-in messages and photos to let us know everything was going well. Would highly recommend her!

I’ve known Jennifer for five years, and in that time I’ve seen firsthand how deeply she cares for animals. She’s the kind of person who notices the small things — a change in a dog’s mood, what routine makes them feel safe, and how to support them when they’re anxious or excited. She’s incredibly devoted to her own dog, and that same level of presence and responsibility shows up in every part of her life. What I appreciate most is that she’s reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. She communicates clearly, follows through, and treats every pet with real respect. I’ve trusted her with my own, and I would again without hesitation. If you’re looking for someone who will show up, pay attention, and truly care, she’s exactly who you want.
Jen was a fantastic caregiver (and friend!) for my cat, Bette. The two of them loved and appreciated each other so much. Bette was a neurotic eater and really needed special attention and care every time you would put food in front of her. Jen was always patient and understanding and willing to come up with ideas for ways to support her to eat her dinner. I happily recommend Jen as a loving caregiver for your pet(s).
Jen is a compassionate and attentive caregiver all around. I feel at ease when she looks after my animals. She's been available to watch my cat & large dog for multiple holidays and weekends away. Definitely my first choice for taking care of my furbabies and that says a lot!

My full-time work is landscaping, so in the winter months I have a lot of flexibility to offer services throughout the week and during the holidays.
