About: I have been an experienced and trusted pet sitter in many clients homes for 20 years. My husband and I have no children and we feel very strongly that pets are our children and I know you feel the same way about yours . I will provide the most experienced, reliable and loving care available. I can care for your cats and dogs of any age and provide medication also. About: I’ve had dogs in the home since I was a small child and host small dogs (under 20 pounds) in my home. I'm new to booking through Rover, but can supply references, if requested. I’m excited to open my door (and heart) to your pup for day visits or overnights. I have one super tough 6 pound Shihtzu-Chihuahua in the house so your pups must be friendly with other dogs. I also have experience with puppies and caring for senior dogs. I work from home so I'm at home all day and night during the week. On weekends, I'm never gone for more than 3- 4 hours at any one time. Most of the time, I'm home with the fur babies. I have a house with ample room to welcome up to 2 dogs (same owner) at a time. I have a fenced back yard area allowing for exercise and free roaming. I never leave pets outdoors unattended. Dog's will normally sleep in my bed with me, but totally fine if they prefer their own bed in my room.

She sent us photos of Big Guy and we could tell by his look, he was enjoying his vacation. We were out of state in NY during the terrible Nor'easter Storm and had to delay our return drive twice. About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom had as many as six dogs at a time, and I was actively involved in their daily care from a very young age. We also had multiple litters of puppies over the years, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages—from newborn puppies to senior dogs. In addition to dogs, I've cared for cats, rabbits, and hamsters, making me comfortable with a variety of pets and their unique needs. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I've spent a lifetime around animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. Most recently, my two beloved dogs passed away. While I'm not quite ready to bring new pets into my home yet, I miss having animals in my life. Pet sitting felt like the perfect way to continue spending time with pets, providing them with the same love, attention, and care that I gave my own. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you're away. 🐾❤️ I work from home with a flexible job. Wow! What can I say about Miss Rita other than fantastic! She made sure to walk me through the process before drop off, during drop off, and for pickup. She kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout the weekend, and made sure Boone was loved and cared for. After all of the work she put into caring for Boone before we got there, I knew he was in perfect hands during his stay. I had peace of mind the entire time and didn’t worry about him once. Rita is a master of her craft in caring for your fur babies. I highly recommend and will definitely be using Miss Rita in the future!
I can’t say enough good things about Rita. This was a last minute trip that we couldn’t take a pup with us. I don’t like leaving my girl behind, but I know she is in good hands when Rita watches her. She also sends me plenty of pictures and videos to let me know how June is doing. I can’t recommend her enough and will keep using her. This was June’s second time staying with Rita.
Rita was professional, communicative, and clearly knows what she's doing. Most importantly she LOVES Dogs and knows how to care for them. She has an amazing space for them to run, sniff, play, and lay in her huge yard. She was so amazing to work with as well and accommodating of my crazy travel schedule. I'm super grateful I met her and so was my boy Axel. I can tell he had a blast with Rita and probably wishes he could go back every week.
