About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience as both a dog-sitter and a lifelong dog owner, I bring a deep understanding of canine needs, personalities, and routines. What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to provide attentive, compassionate care to dogs of all ages and health conditions—including those who are medically fragile or require special care. As a full-time surgical tech, I have a structured schedule that still allows me to make pet care part of my daily life. I provide reliable morning and evening care during workdays and have more flexibility on my days off for longer visits or overnight stays. Caring for dogs has been part of my routine for over 15 years, so no matter how busy life gets, pets remain a top priority. n my home, pets are treated like family. I provide a safe, comfortable, and calm environment where they can relax and feel secure. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible—whether that means regular walks, playtime, administering medications, or sticking to a specific feeding schedule. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while also giving them space if they need quiet time. My goal is for every pet to feel at home, loved, and cared for as if they were my own.

“Karli did a wonderful job caring for Sky while we were gone. She has great attention to detail! She noticed that something was off with Sky and found a burr stuck in between her toes. In addition to a pup, we also have cats. It was soo sweet of her to share pictures of her visit with them too. When we came back home there was a card with a picture of Sky in it that she left for us. ❤️ I’d hire Karli anytime to look after our pets!”

About: I have over 4 years of experience in pet care, I am proficient in basic training techniques, dietary planning, and administering medications. I have volunteered at a variety of animal shelters for 4 years, where I gained hands-on experience in handling various breeds and temperaments. My approach emphasizes positive reinforcement and a loving environment to ensure the comfort and happiness of pets. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your animals. I am available for boarding Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I love to take walks and explore which will give me ample time to make sure you met will get the right amount of exercise Pets will receive plenty of enrichment time, in addition to going on walks and playtime in the home. Crating is also applicable if necessary, and am open and receptive to input on pet care while your pet is with me.

About: The truth is, I love animals so much I still don’t know if I’m a dog or a cat person. I’ve been around and owned animals my entire life and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I looked after my cat for 15 years until he crossed the rainbow bridge, and now I have a sweet Goldendoodle who’s almost 4. We completed obedience training at Tahoe Park in Sac when she was a puppy, and she’s been my daily walking partner ever since. Taking care of her has taught me so much, and I bring that same care and attention to every pet I meet. I work from home, have a flexible schedule, and don’t travel much, so I’m available for regular dog walks, drop-in visits, or pet sitting during the week and most weekends. Whether your dog needs a quick break, a long walk, or just a little company, I’m happy to help. I’m calm, dependable, and truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. You can count on me to treat your pets with kindness, patience, and love, like they’re my own. I work from home and have a super flexible schedule, so your pets will get plenty of attention throughout the day. I don’t travel often, and I have a reliable car, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting with short notice. Whether it’s a weekday afternoon or a weekend, I can adjust my routine to make sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for. I always aim to create a calm, safe, and loving space for the pets I care for—whether that’s in your home or mine. I’m reliable, respectful of routines, and happy to follow any instructions you leave (medications, feeding schedules, crate time, etc.). I have a reliable car in case of emergency and make it a priority to keep pets secure on walks or during visits. Your pets’ comfort and safety are my top priority, and I treat every animal like they’re part of my family.

About: I’ve always had a family dog ever since I was a kid. So I know how to play with them. But I didn’t start taking care of one as an adult until 2014. Ever since then, I fully understood the time, patience and responsibilities it requires to fully take care of a dog and its needs. I currently work fully remote at home. It’s not a super demanding job where I’m always on my computer so I have time throughout the day to check on, walk and play with your fur baby. I will treat your home as if it was my home. I’m a clean person and always put things back where they belong. If there happens to be an accident in your home, I will clean it up.

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. I have my own cat, Button, whom I love dearly and have taken care of pets for my friends lately. I am in between jobs so I am free to work with whatever schedule you have. If you have leftover food that needs to be used, I’d be happy to not let them go to waste. I prefer to care for your pets in their home territory. I am very easy going and happy to follow any instructions you have for me.

About: As a dog mom to three (a husky, a shepherd mix, and a chihuahua), I understand that every dog has their own needs—whether they’re high-energy runners or slow-moving seniors. I’m active and love staying on the move, but I also know when to slow down. Reliable, flexible, and caring. My schedule is pretty flexible! I don’t have set work hours, so happy to fit in dog walks and visits throughout my day + weekend. I would be glad to follow whatever instructions/schedule your dog is on! You can count on me to treat your home—and your pet—with the same care I give my own.

“Lee is the best! He's been walking our dog, Banjo, a few times a week for the past year, and Banjo just adores him. Lee's always on time and reliable, and he always makes sure Banjo gets plenty of exercise on their walks.”

About: Since I was four, I’ve always had a dog in my household. Whether it was my aunt’s or my parent’s, there was a dog in my house. Currently we have three dogs which I love dearly. They are one mom and her two kids. I am a full-time college students who only goes on campus one day a week. Although I’m going full time, I have enough time to visit and care for your pets throughout the day. I recommend to have myself take care of your pet in your home. Although I have three dogs, they are very protective and do not react well to other dogs. Any requirements you give to me, I will follow without question. Let me know if you have specific details that you would like for me to follow while caring for your pet.

About: I grew up in a pet-friendly house. My childhood dogs were our steadfast Doberman, Buck Thorn, and our hyper but loving Australian Shepherd, Shayneh -along with my cat, Pixel (who lived to be 24 years old!). From an early age I was tasked with walking and feeding our dogs, and cleaning up after them. Pixel was “my” cat because she truly imprinted on me and only chose to sleep in my bedroom - she even moved with me when I left my childhood home. When we adopted Shayneh as a puppy, I was the one who took the time to teach her commands and agility tricks even though I was only a kid. As an adult, my first order of business after buying my first house, was to adopt a dog. I found a one year old Border Collie Aussie mix that I instantly fell in love with. I named her Calliope, Callie for short. Callie was my nonstop companion for the next 13 years and she went from being a semi-wild stray from Eastern Oregon to being so well-trained and talented that people would always stop to ask me what I did to train her so well. After she passed, I filled the giant hole in my heart by pet-sitting and walking other people’s fur babies and over time, grew a pretty solid clientele of regulars, both dogs and cats. I am now back in my hometown of Sacramento and hoping to reestablish myself. I have a few dogs I care for regularly, as well as a steady stream of cats I provide drop-in care for. My specialty is dog-walking. I make sure energetic pups get long, fast-paced walks and take my time with elder and small dogs. I allow lots of time for sniffs and fully immerse the dogs in their neighborhood. I provide half-day dog adventures and hikes. I provide training to the dogs I walk to improve leash skills and encounters with other people and dogs. I am very intuitive and sensitive to dog behavior, and pride myself on being able to really communicate and connect with the animals in my care. I currently live in an apartment with my two cats so I am unable to board pets and rarely do overnight care anymore (although I make exceptions from time to time). I am known in my neighborhood as the lady with the two super cool cats because I am always out walking them in their own harness & leash and basically have trained them to be like dogs! I’m currently on a career sabbatical and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I have a few regular clients and another gig I work a couple nights but otherwise, I have a lot of availability I’m especially hoping to fill with dog walks! I have decades of experience and I’m a clear communicator. I make sure to gather the necessary information ahead of time to ensure your pets receive the best care.
