“Just started using Ashlei for walks. My 2 shy girls warmed up to her quickly. They love hearing shes coming that day. She's prompt & pretty flexible on scheduling.”

About: Since a very early age I have had pets. Dogs, cats, fish, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters. Currently, I have a large dog German Shepherd 1 year old. He is well trained and will accompany me on all walks. He is good with small dogs as well as large reactive dogs. Currently, I am retired and have full availability. I spend my day taking my own dog to the dog park and walks on trails, or just around the corner. My dog stays indoors when I'm not home. At your home your rules Rule. Just let me know what you need to make your pet feel at ease.

Pet care fits easily into my routine. I currently don’t work but I am enrolled in college so I have flexible availability during weekdays and weekends for boarding, walks, and drop-ins. “Raquel was a real treat to meet! She was great with my dog, Molly and was patient with my constant scheduling modifications. Raquel is very punctual with the times I selected and walks through the door at that time. Not a moment to soon or a moment too late. I am very pleased with Raquel's professionalism. I have found Molly's walker!”

“Estella continues to be a communicative, proactive and friendly dog walker. I fully trust our dog with Estella and appreciate how kind she is. Our dog never jumps up on people, but once while walking we crossed paths with Estrella and he immediately jumped up on her to say hello! It says a lot about a person when your dog trusts them!”

“Amina was available on short notice to walk my dog, took her to a park and let her chase squirrels which was very helpful while I was at work. She provided photos and updates every day. If I was local I would use her again!”

About: Please look through my photos to get a bit of me in a snapshot! I have had pets all my life and I’ve been housesitting since I was 16 years old in high school. Now I’m a 27 year old Davis graduate who is still eager to help out with furry family’s in the community. I used to work with cats, and I have two of my own now, so I have quite a lot of experience with them. I had dogs growing up, and I've been taking care of other's dogs for the last 11 years. I have experience with oral medication for both dogs and cats. I have a bit of experience in pain management medications and scheduling. I have experience with anxious dogs and older dogs ranging from small to medium-large. I am often a busy person, so for me the most important aspect of working together is communication and honesty. If I feel like I can’t provide the services you are looking for, I will let you know quickly and truthfully. I know how scary it is to leave behind your pets and I want all of my clients to know I have their best interest in mind when booking. I am currently between jobs and taking a couple of online courses so I have a fully open and flexible schedule. I live in Davis and have my own cats that I attend to and love on, but I am also helping foster cats with my friend in Sacramento. I am comfortable in both Davis and Sacramento, and I spend a lot of time in both. I can always adjust my schedule to try and work something out that works for you and your pet. I have a fenced in yard and two cats that generally stay out of the way when a new friend is around. I live with one other person that is also very welcoming and friendly with new animals. We have plenty of places to explore with a decent sized backyard and 3 nearby parks. If I'm providing care in your home, simply explain what you're looking for and I will do my best to accommodate, or be honest if it's not something I can manage. Overnights and drop-ins should not be a problem as long as I can also drop in on my animals.
About: Hi! I’m a dedicated pet lover with hands-on experience caring for my own two cats and energetic puppy. About: Hi, I’m Victoria! I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and have cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities. My first pup was a fun-loving Maltese, and now my fiancée and I have the sweetest 10-year-old golden retriever who is incredibly patient and friendly. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—playing, walking, cuddling, and making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pup, and I promise to treat them like family! Whether they need extra belly rubs, long walks, or just a cozy place to relax, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I’m experienced in handling different energy levels and personalities, so whether your dog is playful or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll tailor our care to their needs! I’d love to meet your baby and give them the attention they deserve! Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’m happy to chat and see if we’re a great fit. My partner and I work 4-5 days of the week. Between the 2 our schedules, we are available to care for your pup all week since we have different days off! 😊 We live in a home and have a fenced yard. It’s a small backyard with no grass but it works and we find ways to still have playtime back there when weather permits! We are comfortable with crates if your dog is crate trained. And we will make sure they feel safe with all their own things. Our golden retriever has anxiety and has had trust issues with other dogs if he feels scared of them. He has been boarded with sitters and other dogs before (he also has many dog cousins), it just takes him an hour to warm up. We will always make sure the introduction and adjustment period is as smooth as it can be. Our dog has a corner in our room he feels the safest and he goes there on his own when he feels overwhelmed. We know how to read his emotions and we know we can balance your dogs emotions too!

About: I’m a proud dog dad to three dogs—two Rat Terrier twins and a Golden Retriever—and they’ve completely shaped how I approach pet care. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog, so I treat every pet with the same patience, attentiveness, and care I give my own. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, medication, routines, and handling unexpected situations calmly. My goal is simple: make your dog feel safe, cared for, and happy, while giving you peace of mind. I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I’m generally available for walks, drop-ins, and playtime during the week and on weekends, especially around midday and afternoons. I keep my schedule pretty consistent, which helps me show up reliably and give dogs real attention, exercise, and care without stretching myself too thin. I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment, whether I’m caring for your dog at my home or yours. At home, pets get close supervision, a secure fenced space, and plenty of care and attention. In a client’s home, I’m happy to follow your dog’s routine, walking preferences, feeding schedule, medication needs, and any specific instructions so they stay comfortable and well cared for.

South Hagginwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amina was great! She responded to my request quickly, was punctual and proactively communicated. My grand dog warmed to her immediately and they had a great walk. She also helped me navigate the Rover app since I’m old - lol. I highly recommend her for walks and if I lived in the Sac area full time, I would use her regularly. She gave me peace of mind knowing he was well cared for. She was professional and personable and I can’t thank her enough!

Andrea is amazing. I had a logistically complicated day, coming through Sacramento from 1.5 hours away for a doctor appointment and then continuing on for the last two hours of my trip. I'd never met her so I was worried about all the chances for something to go wrong. But everything was *perfect*. First, Andrea was amazing about staying in touch, and answered questions quickly and cheerily. She was extremely flexible, and even showed up a bit early so I'd had no reason for anxiety. My pup Willie loved his time with her and her boyfriend. It couldn't have been a better experience. Thank you, Andrea!

Tyson was immediately accepted by our dog, Chance. Then he only needed to hear the walk and feed instructions once, so keeping Chance inside of his routine as much as possible and providing us with peace of mind. Really happy with Tyson and grateful for his natural way with animals.

I have a small breed senior dog and a cat. Its hard to find someone I feel I can trust to give them the same care and attention as myself when I am away from home. Natalie is someone I know I can trust my babies with, she takes a bunch of photos each time she walks my dog and feeds him. She goes above and beyond every time and I can tell my dog and cat absolutely adore her and are happy when she comes to help. Thank you Natalie!

Paula is wonderful with my dogs. She has that calm, grounded energy that my reactive pitbull loves and trusts. She checks in regularly with photos, and my dogs are always happy and relaxed when they come back from walks with her. I highly recommend her, she’s reliable, punctual, calm, and truly a dog person.
