“I flew out of the country for about 3 weeks in 2021 to visit family, leaving our beloved old lady Lea (18-year old chiweenie) under Whitney's care. Whitney was a GODSEND. She took Lea out for timely walks, became very acquainted with all of her needs as a then-15-year old dog, fed her as scheduled, and fed her her supplements, too! A day or so before I flew out, Lea had had a run-in with a baby opossum, and we believe that fleas latched onto her because of this - we hadn't been able to restock her flea medications since we were still coming out of lockdown. Whitney determined this while we were away, and she worked her hardest to rid Lea's bedding of fleas while we were away and giving her multiple baths. Lea loves and still remembers Whitney when she comes to visit every now and then! I've also seen Whitney pet-sit for other animals, and she has been attentive, loving, and caring for the pets as if they were her own! I highly recommend leaving your furry friends with Whitney!”

About: In my free time I like to go down to the shelter and visit with dogs for a doggy day out ! Those dogs need love too 💕 I work part time on food trucks, if you’re interested just ask. People have recommended this I use this app so I’m giving it a try. I love it so far ! I have a fenced yard attached to my apartment. Very spacious and intimate apartment, I don’t have any animals myself so I help others with their animals. I can pet sit up to 30 days at a time. Budget friendly with extended stays.

About: My love for animals began in the womb and by the time I turned 2, I had already learned how to care for my puppy. I've been Dr. Dolittle ever since! I absolutely know how to make pets feel comfortable and loved, creating a warm, safe space where your pets can truly relax while you’re away. I have experience administering medications and providing senior care to dogs, and I’ve used that knowledge in my role as a foster for two local animal shelters here in Sacramento. This hands on experience means I can give your senior dog the extra attention they deserve. Additionally, I’m pretty good at training dogs, which allows me to help reinforce good behavior while they’re with me. I'm no expert but I do apply what I've learned and it works. I do offer light grooming and bathing to keep your pet looking and feeling great and smelling even better- full disclosure, once again I am no expert at grooming nor am I a professional but I have groomed my own animals for years with no issues and will gladly do the same for your pet if needed. Whether it's taking them for walks, playing fetch, catch-me-if-you-can, or just cuddling up on the bed, my goal is to ensure they have a fantastic time filled with love and attention.
