About: With years of experience in private and public pet boarding, I strive to uphold YOUR standard of love and care for your furry family member(s) while you’re away. While working part time at a daycare, coming home to care for my furry family members is a full time job. Although no two pets are the exact same in their care, I can assist in helping them stick to their regular routines while you’re away. Caring for pets in a clients home will be done in the same manner as they care for them while they are home. I intend to maintain regular boundaries and be consistent with rules that have already been implemented.

“Teri is amazing. Very caring about my pet, and following our routines. She’s also very knowledgeable & safety focused, so I felt very comfortable leaving my pet in her hands while I was away. First Rover experience was exactly what I needed when I booked Teri! I will book her again when I’m back in Sacramento.”

A person would be making the right choice in picking James to care/walk your pet!”

“Markita is reliable and professional and communicates well. My dogs are comfortable with her so she is my go to dog walker when needed”

About: I’ve spent years around all kinds of dogs—big, small, playful, shy—you name it! I’ve also helped out with cat sitting for an elderly neighbor, so I’m used to different pet personalities and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cleanup, I’m on it. I really care about making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to make them feel like they’re hanging out with a new friend, not just a sitter. Right now, I’m not working and I’m off from school for the summer, which means I’ve got a super flexible schedule. Whether you need someone in the morning, afternoon, or evening—I’m available whenever your pet needs me! When I’m in your home, my goal is to keep things calm, clean, and comfy for your pet. I’m happy to tidy up (with your permission), make sure your furry friend has a cozy spot to relax, and of course, take care of any walks, bathroom breaks, or cleanup. I want your pet to feel totally at ease in their own space while you’re away.

“Scott is amazing! Great communication and lots of pictures. Our pup was in great hands. 5 stars all around! Will definitely be hiring Scott again.”

About: Hi! My name is Emma and I am a current sophomore at PLNU with a huge heart for dogs. I dogsit and dog walk in the Loma area mainly due to the fact that I miss my dogs at home! I grew up with lots of dogs and cats in my household. I currently have 2 doggies, a crazy husky named Lola and a dash hound named Dexter. I also had a German Sheppard named Bailey who was a big part of my life. Other than my own pets I have pet sat for multiple years with multiple breeds ranging from big German Sheppards to little Scottish Terriers. Ever since moving to San Diego for college, I have missed my doggies so much. I came on Rover to be able to see meet some super sweet dogs and mainly to feed my love for dogs when I am away from home. I would love to meet and stop by multiple times to take care of your fur babies! Anytime you reach out let’s meet so I am able to meet you and your pet in person :) I am located in the Point Loma/Ocean Beach/Pacific Beach area. Please also reach out if you have any questions about my services! I am open almost all weekends and some afternoons depending on the day. I am working in San Diego this summer and would love to fill my weekends with dogs. I try my best to keep my availability very updated :) I am not from San Diego so I am totally missing my own dogs. I would be so excited to spend any time with your pets!

About: Hello there! My name is Josh, and I’m an enthusiastic dog caretaker who would love the chance to take care of your dog. At first glance, you might be unsure if this guy who looks like a pirate can reliably care for your furry friend. Rest assured, I am dedicated to meeting your dog’s needs in a safe and fun environment. I will ensure that your dog feels loved and happy. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I promise to go above and beyond in my service to show my appreciation. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with all dogs. If you’d like, we can arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand—I’d be happy to do so. If you'd like to see my pup, you can check out her Instagram: @just_nezuko_ig. Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.

About: I’ve had to maintain many accidental litters at my grandparents house. This involved cleaning up, caring for, and training the pets they decided to keep. I take care of all of the animals in my house, and accommodate accordingly!! I am finding something to do before I go to college. As my college journey starts I need to save as much as possible, and am willing to work whenever necessary!! I make sure that my dog, who is an English Bulldog, has his medication and is clean in all of his cute little rolls. I have to watch for any allergic reactions he may have, and I keep away from certain foods. Having a dog with many health issues has prepared me for anything that’s coming my way.

“Marc did a phenomenal job with my 2 adult huskies for a few days. He gave 2 walks a day and went above and beyond with the care and service he provided. We met about 2 weeks ahead of the scheduled service and when Marc came by, he was polite and professional, and showed genuine interest in becoming friends with the dogs and listening to me give him several details, which put my mind at ease. I will definitely seek out Marc’s services again and highly recommend!”
