About: I am here because I know how important it is to provide your pets quality care. I want your time away to be as convenient and stress free as possible. I know it can be difficult finding the right care and I am here to ease that worry while reassuring you I have experience and knowledge to provide quality care. I strive to keep your pets routine and make sure they are comfortable and happy. I'm here to communicate with you and commit to you and your pets. I see myself as a form of extended family, as such I genuinely care and provide quality care. I had owners that needed me to care for special needs and request one on one care or special needs can be accommodated sometimes with additional fees but most often with the regular rates. I am able to do introductions with other animals or keep separate depending on pets temperament and owner preferences. I've taken care of pets, including my own since I was a young child. I have cared for all types of pets including cats, dogs (of all sizes) and other animals. I have experience with senior animals and puppies and have pet sat, been a dog owner and fostered. I have experience with multiple breeds and we prefer to make your pet feel at home as much as possible, so you can be at ease while away. I work from home and pets are provided care throughout the day. I know it can be hard to find someone you feel comfortable with taking care of your pet so I am to not only take excellent care of your pet but for you to rest assured your pet is in great hands. I have a fenced yard, as well as a space if you have a pet that needs to be confined or crated. I am happy to discuss needs and try to work out to make your pets stay as pleasant as possible. I ask that you provide all the things your pet is used to including schedule/ routine if you keep one so that their time away is comfortable and seamless.

I am self employed full time but hours are not always stable so my schedule is pretty flexible! I’m always available nights! With a notice in advance I’m available at any time! I have a two story place and my fur baby is very sweet and gets along with other dogs just sometimes shy! Now I’m a 27 year old Davis graduate who is still eager to help out with furry family’s in the community. I used to work with cats, and I have two of my own now, so I have quite a lot of experience with them. I had dogs growing up, and I've been taking care of other's dogs for the last 11 years. I have experience with oral medication for both dogs and cats. I have a bit of experience in pain management medications and scheduling. I have experience with anxious dogs and older dogs ranging from small to medium-large. I am often a busy person, so for me the most important aspect of working together is communication and honesty. If I feel like I can’t provide the services you are looking for, I will let you know quickly and truthfully. I know how scary it is to leave behind your pets and I want all of my clients to know I have their best interest in mind when booking. I am currently between jobs and taking a couple of online courses so I have a fully open and flexible schedule. I live in Davis and have my own cats that I attend to and love on, but I am also helping foster cats with my friend in Sacramento. I am comfortable in both Davis and Sacramento, and I spend a lot of time in both. I can always adjust my schedule to try and work something out that works for you and your pet. I have a fenced in yard and two cats that generally stay out of the way when a new friend is around. I live with one other person that is also very welcoming and friendly with new animals. We have plenty of places to explore with a decent sized backyard and 3 nearby parks. If I'm providing care in your home, simply explain what you're looking for and I will do my best to accommodate, or be honest if it's not something I can manage. Overnights and drop-ins should not be a problem as long as I can also drop in on my animals.

About: Animals have been part of my life from the very beginning. My family raised and cared for pets of all kinds, including Maine Coon show cats, a golden retriever, and a yorkie. I grew up surrounded by them, learning early how to read behavior, provide steady care, and build trust with different personalities and species. The only time I ever lived without an animal in my home was during my first two years of service in the Air Force. These days I share my home with Daxter (my orange tabby) and Catarina and Beretina (two crazy torbie sisters) who keep life entertaining in all the best ways. It’s a small backyard with no grass but it works and we find ways to still have playtime back there when weather permits! We are comfortable with crates if your dog is crate trained. And we will make sure they feel safe with all their own things. Our golden retriever has anxiety and has had trust issues with other dogs if he feels scared of them. He has been boarded with sitters and other dogs before (he also has many dog cousins), it just takes him an hour to warm up. We will always make sure the introduction and adjustment period is as smooth as it can be. Our dog has a corner in our room he feels the safest and he goes there on his own when he feels overwhelmed. We know how to read his emotions and we know we can balance your dogs emotions too!

I have a cat of my own and am very much the go-to auntie for a lot of other cats and dogs. I love getting to know each pet and making sure they feel safe, cared for, and a little spoiled while you’re away. I'm off work through mid-May, so my schedule is pretty open right now. Something consistent is always easier to plan for but I will do my best to be as available as possible! My cat is an indoor only cat at the moment. We do have a fenced in courtyard in our apartment that's rather spacious and shady as well!
