About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.

I was not able to drop my dog off , but she was more willing to take my smaller dog in and cage him in a quiet room so he would feel safe. She also agreed to take him out for a walk. Due to the weather the same day we confirmed, but on the way cancelled and paid for the day care as this is her livelihood. We could have asked to cancel, but that is not what good pet parents do. They make sure people like Mrs. Achara are taken care of as well. I will use her in the future when we are in West Sacramento. It appears that safety is #1. She spent a lot of time with my kitten to help her feel comfortable during the stay. I received many pictures, videos and updates, giving me piece of mind while I was out of town. I booked a boarding facility for my parents large dog while I used Rover to compare. I cannot speak for the other sitters on here but Briana is most definitely my go to choice over any sitter or boarding facility. My parents never received photos or updates, just a very basic report card. Thank you Briana for taking good care of my baby.”

About: I was raised with dogs in my family and I am a dog mom of over 15 years and a dog grandma for over 10 years! I have raised various breeds and feel confident caring for your loved ones. I love to play with their toys and snuggle with them. I have two terriers of my own who have their own bedroom so I can ensure separation of space as needed. “Justin is awesome. Took in our fur baby last minute and stayed with Justin for 4 days. Within the first day, justin sent us updates and pictures and in that short period of time Zo looked so comfortable! Justin seems to be very good with dogs and love dogs. He took care of Zo like she was his own. When we picked up Zo she was so calm. Definitely would go back to Justin!”
