His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

“Tanisha was fantastic with my dog Morty. My dog is reactive and nervous around new dogs, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he would feel comfortable with her and her dog. We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I got a lot of pictures and videos of my dog while he was with Tanisha (more than I've ever gotten from a sitter). I highly recommend Tanisha!”
About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.

About: Ever since I was 10 I've taken care of dogs. I have experience in many different ages of dogs from newborn puppies to full grown. Since it is summer your pets will always fit in my schedule! About: Hi there! I am a recent law school graduate currently studying for the bar exam. In addition to growing up with dogs, I also have experience dealing with reactive dogs. For a time I had a rescue dog, Judge, who struggled with aggression, leash reactivity, and general fear/anxiety. I know how scary it is to leave behind your pets and I want all of my clients to know I have their best interest in mind when booking. I am currently between jobs and taking a couple of online courses so I have a fully open and flexible schedule. I live in Davis and have my own cats that I attend to and love on, but I am also helping foster cats with my friend in Sacramento. I am comfortable in both Davis and Sacramento, and I spend a lot of time in both. I can always adjust my schedule to try and work something out that works for you and your pet. I have a fenced in yard and two cats that generally stay out of the way when a new friend is around. I live with one other person that is also very welcoming and friendly with new animals. We have plenty of places to explore with a decent sized backyard and 3 nearby parks. If I'm providing care in your home, simply explain what you're looking for and I will do my best to accommodate, or be honest if it's not something I can manage. Overnights and drop-ins should not be a problem as long as I can also drop in on my animals.

About: I absolutely adore dogs and their personalities. I had an older pup of my own, who has been with me all over California. Unfortunately my beautiful girl has passed. Now I have a 1 year old rambunctious little aussiedoodle named Thorin and all he wants do is play. He absolutely loves making new friends. I am always the first one to be called by any friend in need to watch their pets. I’m confident that Thorin and I can give your pet a safe space for them to have fun and you to relax and not worry. I currently work 2 miles from my place of residence. Your dog will usually just go with me to work every day, we have a bed/area set up (pet friendly environment) or if preferred the dog to stay home. My man comes with me, so we do the same for yours. Also, they would be walked first thing in the morning, on my lunch, after work and then again before bed. I have a crate if thats needed for your dog/your dog likes to have his/her own safe space. My house is free to roam for the animals. I have a big backyard they can play in.

I am currently working from home and have plenty of time to care for you dog so you can enjoy your time away without worrying.
