About: I have taken care of animals by volunteering at the Kansas City pet project as well as fostering animals. I love being around animals and making sure they are well taken care of. I am taking two summer classes, Tuesday and Thursdays 9:15 am- 11:15 am. Other than that, I am available all days other than the dates marked off on the calendar. I care for pets by making sure they are let out when they need to be, making sure they are fed, and by giving them plenty of love!

About: While I don't have formal experience, I've spent my whole life taking care of pets at home. I've even raised our current pups from puppies to adulthood, handling everything from feeding to playtime. My goal is to treat every pet like part of the family. As we head past graduation and into the summer, I will have a very flexible schedule! I'm available on the weekends, evenings, and soon to be during the weekdays as well! Every pet deserves the family treatment! I'm careful to follow their set routines and rules - whether it's playtime, feeding, or crate time. Your pet's safety always comes first!

“This was my first weekend with Deret, and she couldn't have been better!! She communicated everything and I'm excited to have her on board!! Thank you Deret! I will continue to book her for all of my needs!!”

About: I have been boarding pets and dog sitting for family and friends for over twenty years, and previously worked as a vet tech and shelter volunteer. Boarding rates are so high, just for the pup to sit in a kennel most of the day, so we are kennel free (unless the owner requests I use theirs) and no extra charge for playtime or extra treats! My family are all pet lovers here as well, so my husband and kids love having extra dogs around to spoil with treats, snuggles, and endless playtime in the backyard. We never watch more than three pets at a time, to make sure every one of them gets plenty of attention. I know a lot of sitters watch up to 8, but we like controlled chaos! I have a big fenced in backyard, tons of dog and cat toys and tennis balls, and of course washable couch cushions and rugs everywhere because we know accidents happen 😂 My golden loves having new playmates, and is passive to a fault. I work remotely part time from home while working on my Masters, previously I worked at the Social Security Administration HQ here in KCMO. I can administer medication, and my speciality is elderly dogs that need extra attention and/or dogs that don’t do well in typical boarding situation due to anxiety and/or destructive behaviors because here, they can have as much attention as they do (or don’t!) want! I currently work from home 20 hours a week medical billing and coding, my schedule is flexible and my children are both in daycare/elementary school and gone from approx 8-4. I have a fenced in large yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I walk dogs I watch/my dogs 1-2 times a day and let out any elderly dogs I am currently watching through the front door to avoid the deck steps. I feed my dogs twice a day, they drink filtered water and get denta sticks each day. I always bring dog treats on walks so reinforce good behavior. We consider our pets people here, so getting on furniture is allowed as well, unless the owner says no discourage.

“Ashley is great! Our dog, Arlo, is a 75lb, 8 month old puppy and while he is the goofiest, most loving guy...he can also be a pain in the butt sometimes. Ashley handled Arlo (and our home) with great care. She is reliable and has great communication. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy and loving dog walker!”

Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or cozy visits with your cat, I treat every pet like my own. Reliable, caring, and flexible – I’m here when you need me. I love being around animals, so spending time caring for pets is something I truly enjoy and make time for. It’s not just a side job—it’s something that brings me peace and purpose. I provide pet care in the comfort of the client’s home because I believe pets feel most safe and relaxed in their own environment. I follow all routines and instructions carefully—from feeding and walks to playtime and medications—so your pet’s day stays as normal as possible. I treat every home with respect and every pet with patience, love, and attention. Safety and trust are my top priorities, and I always make sure your pet is secure, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I know how hard it is to find people you can trust to take care of your animals. So, I decided to become a sitter. Someone with a lot of experience, and someone you can rely on. I have summers off, so I will be available. I’m a home body, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I will treat your home as if it were a museum. I will respect your home just like I would want my home to be respected. I will take care of your pets as if they were my own babies.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and rescuer of dogs. Life is not complete without a dog to snuggle up with at the end of the day. I’m a retired public school teacher so my schedule is pretty open on weekends as well as week days right now. I’m ready to walk and care for your pet. I have a large fenced yard and 3 of my own rescue fur babies that get along with other dogs fabulously. I can do drop in visits at your home also. I love walking and staying active so walking your dogs will be a treat for me.

About: With years of veterinary field experience and being a lifelong pet lover I have the skills to watch over, play with, exercise, and give all the TLC to your pets that you wish you could be doing yourself! I am comfortable working with any breed, age, or size of dog or cat. Have a particularly anxious pet? A pet that requires various medications or treatments? I have experience with those too! If your pet has special needs I would love the opportunity to meet with you (& your pet) and learn how to best care for them. I want owners to have peace of mind when I'm with their pets. I love to take photos and videos that I share with owners during my visits. I treat every pet the way I'd want mine treated (and I have high standards)! I have an open schedule and I'm looking to fill my time by caring for your fur babies! My availability is mostly open, please reach out with whenever you may need and I'll do my best to accommodate. I am currently renting and will be unable to care for your pets in my own home. When caring for pets in their own homes I always make sure to follow any and all house rules. I prefer to set up a meeting before any service (if possible) at no charge to introduce myself, get to know each other a little, and make sure your pet is comfortable. Making sure your pet's routine is consistent and positive is a huge priority and builds trust for all parties involved.
