We had an absolutely amazing experience with Tu and John! They watched our 3mo old puppy, Reese, for 5 nights and they were incredible from start to finish. They were extremely flexible with our schedule and sent tons of picture/video updates throughout the stay, which gave us total peace of mind. Not only did they make sure he was comfortable and having a great time, but they also went above and beyond by helping with his training and giving us excellent advice to help reinforce good behavior and intervention with the not-so-great habits lol They were so kind and very patient with his overnight whining and daily bursts of energy. They even took the time to answer all of my follow-up questions after drop-off. I could tell Reese truly loved his stay and they enjoyed spending time with him. We highly recommend them and will definitely be booking again (soon)!
Paige and Nolan were so nice to look after Bertie while we were away over a weekend. They both work with animals professionally, so we felt really comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I had such a great experience leaving my dog, Alfie, with John & Michelle for multiple weekends this summer! Alfie has some separation anxiety and behavioral quirks, so finding the right sitter can sometimes be challenging, but John & Michelle were incredibly understanding, accommodating, and welcoming. They provided excellent communication throughout the entire process and were quick to respond, even accepting my last-minute boarding requests. It’s clear that they’re experienced, attentive to specific needs, and genuinely care about the dogs they look after. They provided Alfie with a safe and comfortable environment and kept me updated with photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, Alfie was clearly well cared for, felt safe and relaxed, and had a great time! Hendry went above and beyond with my 2 boxers. He sent me updates on how they were adjusting and pictures on most days. He allowed them to spend time with his family and play with Nova, his dog. This was mine and my dogs first time away from each other and Hendry made sure they felt safe and let them open up slowly which I so appreciated. Hendry and his wife are very caring and genuinely love dogs. I was able to relax on vacation and I appreciate Hendry and his family for this. Cannot say enough positive things about the excellent care oakland and olive received. They will be be staying with Hendry again in the future!! Thanks again!
