I’ve been the go-to pet person for friends, family, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Whether someone’s heading out for the weekend or a few weeks, they trust me to care for their pets like my own. That trust comes from years of experience, but also from the genuine joy I find in spending time with animals. I grew up helping care for animals on my grandparents’ farm, so being around them has always been a natural part of my life. Since then, I’ve been a proud pet parent to dogs, cats, reptiles, fish — you name it — and I’ve cared for animals across every life stage, from babies to seniors. I’m comfortable with short drop-in visits, longer overnight stays, boarding, and adapting to the unique needs and routines of each animal. More than anything, I treat every pet like family. Whether it’s a dog who loves long walks and squirrel patrol or a cat who’s happiest curled up for a show binge, I meet animals where they are. Pet sitting isn’t just about routines and responsibilities — it’s about building trust, creating comfort, and spending quality time with a new furry (or scaly!) friend. Anna was so great with our dog, Karla! She sent us a ton of pictures and took great care of Karla when there were loud, scary fireworks going off! Now Karla stops by Anna’s house whenever we walk past it :)

Anna is probably the best dog sitter we have ever had! Even before meeting her I could just tell she had such a passion for fur babies ! Before our trip she came to our place to meet our pups, and there was no doubt that she was a nurturing and loving person all around. She has a great knowledge of dogs that need specific care. We have a mini dachshund, and she was fully aware of the specific needs to keep them safe and healthy. While we were away, she sent us tons of pictures and updates that we requested, and put our minds at ease so we could fully enjoy our trip. It didn’t seem like our pup wanted to leave when we came back! I would recommend her to anybody over and over again because we will definitely be using her again! Thanks again, Anna, you are truly a special person!

Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, my goal is to create a calm, safe, and familiar environment where they feel loved and at ease. When pets stay in my home, I provide a cozy, low-stress space where they can relax and feel at home. While I don’t have a backyard, I’m in a walkable neighborhood with easy access to parks and dog parks — perfect for sniff-filled walks, outdoor time, and play. I keep your pet’s feeding, medication, and daily routines consistent, and I’ll send photos and updates throughout the day so you can see their lovely face and know they’re doing well. When I care for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space and attentive to the little details that help your pet feel secure — whether that’s sticking to walking routes they know, maintaining their preferred litter box setup, or making sure their favorite toys are nearby. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep things clean and tidy, and make sure your pet feels like nothing’s missing while you’re away. No matter the setting, I focus on building trust, staying consistent, and giving your pet the love, structure, and companionship they need.
A typical day
For dogs, I love getting them out and about, whether it’s long walks through the neighborhood, a good sniff adventure in the park, or a trip to the dog park to socialize and play. I match the pace and energy level of each pup, whether they’re a high-energy squirrel chaser or just want to stroll and sniff the flowers. When we’re indoors, I keep things fun and engaging with their favorite toys, games of fetch, tug-of-war, or just relaxing together if that’s more their vibe. For cats, I follow their lead — from wand toy play sessions and treat puzzles to cozy couch time and window watching, I make sure they feel safe, stimulated, and cared for. I know that fun for cats can be anything from active play to quiet companionship, and I’m here for both. I always aim to make our time together joyful and tailored to what your pet enjoys most, so they’re not just cared for, but truly having fun.
