About: I’ve taken care of dogs of various kinds since I was 10. Friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and play with their pets. Currently I work on a 10 month contract. Therefore I have summer off so I have plenty of time to provide pet care to those in need of such services. About: I've been around animals my entire life. I had 2 dogs and a cockatiel growing up that I helped care for. I have personally owned dogs, rats, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I also used to foster small animals for a local rescue and have found fantastic homes for over 50 small animals. About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. We have always had at least one dog in the house if not more. In the past 6 years I have helped my parents to puppy train twice.
