Pet care experience
Lifelong Pet Lover and Owner
Hi! My name is Matty, and I have been owning for and caring for various species of pets for most of my life, from dogs and cats, to horses and hamsters. I currently own a dog and a gecko! I trained my own dog, and have dog sat for various breeds and temperaments of dogs over the years. My own dog is a rescue, so I understand dogs with certain reactivity issues or fears.

Matty also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.

Safety, trust & environment
As a lifelong pet owner myself, and someone who has also relied on pet sitters over the years, I understand how important pet safety and comfort is. Keeping your pet safe is my number 1 goal. I rely on positive reinforcement when working with and caring for animals. I believe in being both gentle and confident is the key to successfully working with animals.
Ratings and reviews
Matty worked out great for our cats. He was very friendly and took care of the things I asked. I went on vacation with a great piece of mind. Would definitely recommend, and hope to use Matty again in the future.

Matty has loved and cared for multiple pets over the years and is very passionate about animals, both domestic and wild. He’s incredibly attentive of his pets, always considering what would contribute to the most comfortable and safest environment for them. Of all the past pets he’s had since we've known each other, all have lived well beyond their life expectancy! He’s had experience with rodents, reptiles, felines, but most of all dogs.
