Was also a kennel boarding assistant as well as a vet assistant for a mobile vaccine clinic serving Niagara Falls, Watertown, Rochester and other areas. About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. About: I’m a 33 year old retired dog groomer and ran large grooming salons in the Pittsburgh area as well as here in New York for a total of 10 years. Was also a kennel boarding assistant as well as a vet assistant for a mobile vaccine clinic serving Niagara Falls, Watertown, Rochester and other areas. I have had everything from chihuahuas to Rottweilers and pit bulls. I treat pets like my children and love all shapes and sizes and able to provide medication as well as any other special need requests. I know basic first aid but I do not have pet CPR certification. I also have plenty of references and client feedback if needed to ensure you get the care your pet needs and deserves. About: I grew up around animals. I have taken care of my own dogs, cats, rabbits and fish throughout my life. I have also taken care of friends pets when they’ve gone out of town. I am comfortable with large and small dogs, cats, and caged animals. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time for your pets. I have a 4yr old who is comfortable around animals and I am available for boarding if your animal is comfortable with men, women, and children. I live on a quiet street in an apartment and look forward to walking with your dog at my home or yours. I am comfortable working with multiple kinds of collars and leashes.

I've boarded dogs over 100 pounds, and they do great with my dog Leo, a 16 pound Jack Russell dachshund mix who has graduated from obedience and agility courses about five times. I also sit cats, birds, small critters, and reptiles. For dogs, I like to start with a neutral meet and greet, so I ask for two weeks notice, though I'm flexible in emergencies. If you'd like, I can also arrange grooming and specialized training as an additional service while your pet is in my care, provided through a licensed groomer and trainer. Your pet will be treated like family. I work from home, so I offer daytime care during work hours as well as overnight boarding while you travel. Your pet gets plenty of one-on-one time and extra TLC when needed. All pet care happens in my home on a quiet street in the Village of Manchester. I work remotely, so your pet is never left alone for long. Dogs get lots of one-on-one time, and I'm happy to send updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I start with a neutral meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along with my dog Leo. I have a large backyard with natural tree lines and barriers, but safety comes first. Any dog in my care stays on a leash or tie out whenever they're outside, with no exceptions, even if a yard is fenced. I'm happy to take short walks into the yard, and if your pet prefers pet pads, I can provide those. Cats get a quiet room behind closed doors, separate from my own cats, and can stay in their crate, come out, or sit with me in my office. I know how to respond in an emergency and how to reach the nearest emergency care.
About: I have been walking dogs and taking care of cats and dogs for years. I give cats and dogs some attention and play with them. I am currently available on weekends and week nights for walking dogs. I am flexible with the times on weekends. I can take dogs for more than 20 minutes to give them more exercise and an enjoyable time. If you need your dog (s) to stay at my house overnight or during the day on weekends, I can look after them, play with them, and walk them. I have a large fenced yard.
