When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.

About: Our pets are family, and it can be scary sometimes when you don't know who is caring for them while you're gone. Under my care, I treat every fur baby like they were my fur baby. I grew up living with dogs, a Bichon Frise and a Pit Bull, which taught me how to communicate and care for dogs of all sizes and dogs breeds with separation anxiety. I'm pretty active and am currently training for the NYC 2022 Marathon, so I love to run/walk with my dog Casper. About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). My Home: spacious living and family rooms for dogs to run around, a play mat area with toys, and plenty of space to bring your dog's bed so he/she feels comfortable and at home. My Cocker Spaniel was rescued after spending 6 years as a breeder in a puppy mill. About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. About: During my youth I was surrounded by all sorts of animals. My dad took in cats and my mom fostered dogs. Living in the country, a few of my friends had farms with an assortment of animals. My junior and senior year of high school I moved to Tennessee and enrolled in 4-H. My family started a little farm of our own. Which included goats and chickens. I had planned to go to veterinary school. I ended up having to move back to New York. There were a few animals that stuck out to me while growing up. First my all black main coon. She was my first animal. A Rottweiler named Brutus, he ate every left shoe. My first ever coon hound mix. His name was Eli. During my middle school times I received two mastiff pit bull puppies for Christmas. I raised both of them. Once they were trained, one of them was given to my great grandfather as a companion. The other stayed with me until my father’s dog passed and he eventually took my dog. They are ever happy together. After high school I spent most of my time working. Making ends meet. From waitressing to working at a hospital as a patient care technician. May of 2025 I moved to Georgia and was expecting a little boy in August. My mother does rover and she had gifted me the information to maybe help my situation. I had a few under the table clients down in Georgia and I found that I throughly enjoyed spending time with animals. I remember why I wanted to go to veterinary school. Come August of 2025 I had my son. Fast forward to now(2026) I’m back in NY and would love to find some new fury friends. I can be very flexible. I do have a baby that would most likely come with me. He is good around animals. We have a German shepherd Akita at home and I would never allow anything to happen. Setting boundaries and keep the separation is always a priority. If that’s not a problem, I can come by any time of the day. I have reliable and consistent transportation. Regardless if I’m just stopping in or staying, I always respect and try to leave your home in a better condition that I found it. Making sure there’s a safe environment. We do offer pet sitting at your home, we would request that we have a way to enter the home and if any products are specific to YOUR PET that they are provided for our use. (Example prescription food, medications, enrichment toys) The house sitting details will be thoroughly worked through with the homeowner beforehand.
About: I have had dogs my whole life. I adopted my first dog as an adult about 6 years ago, and have since raised three dogs and multiple cats. I am comfortable with large dogs (I own a 90 lbs black lab) as well as administering medications and management of high need dogs. I work from home, so while I am caring for your pets I have the flexibility to take them out whenever they need and make sure they are enriched and cared for. I have a fairly flexible work from home job, so while pet sitting I will be with your pets for the majority of the time. My own dogs are all high needs. About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and a few cats over the years. I am available to stay over night if needed, I have taken care of senior dogs that need health support, i have also taken care of puppies as young as 5 months old. I also have experience giving oral medicine to dogs. My availability is Monday mornings to late Thursday nights. I can stay all day or all night if needed for the pet. I unfortunately can’t do weekends. I am able to take care of cats and dogs, old or young, and give oral medicine if needed. I will need written instructions on what time the dog/cat needs to be fed, walked, times for giving medicine if needed, and if there are any diet restrictions.

When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.
