About: I have had dogs my whole life.. I worked in a kennel and as a dog groomer, where I got to spend time with many different breeds of dogs. Friends have asked me to stay with, feed, walk and drop in on their pets. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I currently have a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of areas of time to play with your pets! I am available to dog walk and drop in during the week and Saturdays after 12. I would love to discuss if you need someone to house sit overnight! I will care for pets by following the routine that they are used to and treating them with love, kindness and respect. I want to create a calm environment for them and let them know they are safe with me. I will also treat the client’s home with respect.

About: Hi, I have five cats and a senior boxer dog. I’ve had one of my cats since he was about a year old. He’s 16 now and on twice daily insulin injections. I’ve had my dog since he was 9 weeks old and he’s almost 13. I can give insulin and other medications. Im experienced with senior animals and while I’m in your home I’ll make sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. I’m a nurse who works three days a week full time. My weekends are usually wide open and some weekdays as well. I can do drop-in services. The well-being of your pets will be my highest priority for while I’m caring for them. Especially with older animals or those with mobility issues I’ll make sure they have everything they need to be safe.

“Joey is amazing with all my animals. My Cane Corso takes special introducing and not everyone I introduce him to takes the job. He liked Joey from the first day. I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”
About: I've been around animals my entire life, growing up I had 2 dogs and a cockatiel that I helped care for. I have personally owned dogs, rats, fish, rabbits, cats, chickens and ducks. I also used to foster small animals for a local rescue and have found fantastic homes for over 50 small animals. I am self-employed and work from home so I can take care of your pets needs at any time of the day since my schedule is flexible. I personally have 2 dogs, a rabbit, a cat, chickens, and ducks at my home so there are plenty of things to help keep your pets occupied and happy. I also used to foster small animals for a rescue I helped out with. My yard is unfenced, but I live on a quiet street and have an open area across from my home to play fetch or throw a frisbee with your dogs and mine. In regards to caring for pets in your own home I follow any directions you give me for food/treat schedules, how often they need to go outside, things your pets can and cannot do, etc.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my entire life. My friends and family have been relying on me to walk and feed their dogs for years! Cuddles are also a must! May or may not talk to them like they are babies (which they 100% are) I currently work full-time at an elementary school, so this is only a weekend gig. That being said, I love going to watch and walk dogs of all kind!! Typically when I’m walking a dog, I make sure the dog goes at its own pace. It’s the dogs walk, not mine. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
