“Joseph took excellent care of our cats while we were gone. He was super attentive and noticed that one of our cats wasn't eating from her tag activated food bowl. We had installed fresh batteries before leaving and one must have been a dud. But Joseph was able to get the bowl open for her until we got back. He sent detailed updates and was incredibly professional and kind. Next time we leave town we will definitely rebook with him!”

“Super professional and took wonderful care of my cats. I don’t think cats missed us at all while we were away because they got plenty of kindness from Deborah.”

“Always excellent care. Thank you Nancy.”

“Shirley was professional and patient with my dog who struggles with anxious and reactive behaviors. She was great with follow up and updates throughout the drop ins and the week generally. Lenny was much happier and more relaxed when I got home from work!”

“Christopher was great! He was super communicative throughout the entire stay, and I felt like our cats were in good hands. I would definitely have him watch our cats again in the future.”

“This was the first time leaving our 4 month kitten alone and we were hesitant to have anyone new look after her. Tiffanys warmth and love of animals was apparent at drop off. Through out our kittens stay Tiffany sent me pictures, which were relieving. Do not have any hesitation in asking her to look after your pets. Caring and Approachable!!””

“Jessica gave me updates throughout the day/night and sent the cutest pictures and always kept me informed. She even offered to water plants for me or ask if there was another else I needed. 10/10 would recommend. Already booked her again for another stay 😊”

About: I've taken care of pets for many years and have used pet care services so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to look after your furry family member or your home! I am very dependable and respectful and eager to help. I’d be happy to check in on your pets, take them for walks or stay over if needed. I’m currently working full time. I'm available for early morning or evening walks. I’m available on weekends/ holidays for walks, drop ins, house sitter in your home. I am attentive and will follow any given instructions on how you’d like your pet taken care of in your home. Any instructions on walks or just play time.

About: I am a college and I am the proud owner of three cats and work with dogs ranging from puppies to seniors as my part time job. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pets from house sitting if needed to dog walking during the afternoon I make sure that first there basic needs are met that they are first safe in there home and happy. Anything off is immediately checked and cared for if needed.

About: I am a licensed veterinary technician and have over 30 years of experience. I can give fluids, injections and medications as well as other tasks you may need. I live with my husband and we have are huge animal lovers. We have opposite schedules and animals aren’t alone for more than a grocery trip or other errands. I have a fully fenced yard, dogs are monitored during outside time. I have baby gates and crates and do slow introductions to insure every animal is comfortable in my home.

About: I love pets and I'm very experienced with pet care. I've just finished my freshman year of college and am home for the summer. I have played with and walked my family’s dog, Ollie, since she was a puppy, so I have experience with walking and caring for both more unruly puppies and more mellow older dogs. I've also pet-sat for family friends and neighbors many times before, some of whom have much older senior dogs who need a lot of extra care, so I am experienced and capable of helping care for many different kinds of cats and dogs with different needs and dispositions. I also have a lot of experience caring for cats as I took care of my own cat throughout high school, spending time with him regularly, feeding him twice daily, changing his litter box every day, and when I go home on breaks I continue to do so. Also, I have pet sat for families with cats before as well and understand that each cat has their own unique personality and set of needs and I am able to cater to that as needed. Additionally, I trained my dog Ollie to sit, stay, come, drop-it, leave-it, play fetch, speak, and even high-five! So, I am a great option to hire if you are currently going through the puppy training process as I know the basics and will be able to work with you to make sure that my care of your dog does not undermine your training. (e.g. I will administer commands as you instruct me to and not repeat commands multiple times or incorrectly and I can uphold your leash training practices) Thank you so much for considering me as a candidate to help take care of your pet, I hope to get to meet you both soon! I am currently on summer break and although I am currently taking some online classes and work part time on the weekends, my schedule is very flexible and open. I’m available pretty much all the time and would love to spend that free time looking out for your fur baby. Additionally, as a broke college student I have no business rejecting work hours, so if you feel that you may need a lot of last-minute pet care- I am an excellent fit for you. I am great at following instructions, so I will ensure that I care for your pet exactly as you ask me to, and will also go above and beyond to ensure your pet is happy and fully taken care of! I can also help out with any additional small chores, should you ask, such as watering plants or taking in mail.

“Winnie has been such a blessing to find on Rover! We have a very busy season of sports and Winnie has been there every step of the way to help us with our fur child. She goes above and beyond while dropping in on him and makes sure he’s well taken care of while we are away for the day. We are very fortunate to have found her on Rover. 🐾”

“I can't say enough good things about Jeremy. He graciously accommodated a last minute request, saving our our trip out of town. Jeremy instantly connected with our pit bull and watched over him thoughtfully. He kept us well updated via text. When our boy wasn't eating due to separation anxiety, Jeremy proactively brought him some real chicken from home that got him eating again. Jeremy is dedicated, trustworthy, and affectionate with pets. I wholeheartedly recommend him!”

“Rachel was absolutely fantastic and took such good care of my two kitties! Also was very flexible with key drop-off/pickup and went above and beyond in terms of cleaning/tidying up. Highly recommend.”

“Highly recommend. Caroline was fantastic with our very needy cats that have to be separated (they fight). She always comes when she says she will, keeps you in the loop of day-to-day activities, and sends lots of pictures. Would recommend for anyone who needs a cat sitter.”

About: I am 52 years old and I have been animal lover my entire life. I began walking neighbors dogs and housesitting for friends. When I lost my Layla after 14 years, there was a big void in my life. I need to be around animal energy which is why I decided to offer my love to others fur babies. I feel that I am somewhat of an animal whisperer <3 I work remotely from my laptop which gives me ample flexibility for play time, potty breaks, cuddles, exercise. I love having company when working :) I have a large backyard fenced in with grass for potty breaks. Plenty of toys and dog beds and blankets for comfort for your baby

“Tara was prompt and communicative about visits. Provided pictures to show us our pets were okay. Would book again!”

About: I’m based in Crockett and divide most of my time between Martinez, Concord and Oakland. My home is a single-level house with a spacious fenced yard. I have one senior dog and two young cats. Aside from my own little misfit family of animals I foster with Oakland Animal Services last year. And in my college years (a distant lifetime ago) I worked as a kennel tech for a no-kill shelter where I learned most of my caretaking skills. I believe animals teach us so much, and in return we owe them the upmost thoughtful and kind stewardship. It’s important to me that I make every animal feel safe and understood. I work from home which allows me to provide hands-on supervision of animals. I may run a quick daily errand which I would time around caretaking availability . I have a fenced yard that gives dogs ample space to run around and explore under supervision. There’s also space in the home for your dog to relax and receive enrichment play.

“Sofia was a great communicator, asking questions when she needed and made sure she understood everything that was needed to take care of our cat. She showed up on time, kept in touch, and provided multiple photos from each visit to show that everything was completed. We will definitely rely on her again next time we need a pet sitter.”

Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all kinds—each with their own personality, quirks, and needs. Whether you’re looking for daily check-ins or dog walks, I provide dependable, loving attention to keep your pets happy, healthy, and relaxed while you’re away. I’m also experienced with administering medication and working with pets that need a little extra care or reassurance. Let’s connect and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away My current job is only part time, and I have a very flexible schedule to accommodate your pets needs.
