“Sara was able to accommodate a last minute request after our original pet sitting plans fell through. She took great care of our cats and I would definitely work with her again!”

“Niki has been so helpful with our dogs. One is elderly and has been watched by her many times. This recent trip was the first time we also left our 4 yr old lab for an extended amount of time. Niki took the time to make sure our lab got exercise and both of our girls were in great spirits on our return. Everything went great!!”

“Bethany was phenomenal and accommodating! We appreciate her super short notice availability and how detailed and thorough she was with her visits. She cared for and treated our pets as if they were her own. What more can you ask for? Thank you so much, Bethany.”

“Angela did a fantastic job taking care of our furry babies while we were gone. She gave us detailed check-ins during every visit with photos, making us feel confident they were getting the attention they needed while we were away. Angela was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Plus our house looked great and animals were happy. Thank you!”

“Shannon continues to showcase her knowledge on how to handle sensitive animals. Our little Moonshine can get anxious and moody while we're away, but we were able to trust that she would be cared for and loved by Shannon until we returned. Thank you again!”

“Shyanne is so incredible, and I couldn't be happier that I found her! She took amazing care of my girl and gave the cutest updates and pictures. My cat loved her check-ins, and I was able to travel worry-free knowing she was in good hands. She was diligent about checking each time on recent health concerns. I also came back from.my trip to find that Shyanne had also taken the trash out. She definitely knows what she's doing when watching our most loved family member.”

“Danica has been very flexible and understanding of our schedule. And our dog loves her! Danica played with Scarlett and gave her lots of love. We will be using her again!”

“Nugget was very well taken care of during our holiday vacation. Alinda sent multiple pictures from every visit, showed up on a regular schedule exactly as expected and stayed the full visit time to give Nugget plenty of attention in addition to the feeding and litterbox chores.”

“Great experience! Nicole dropped in to check on my cat while I was away for the weekend. Excellent communication and lots of pics :) I was so comfortable and highly recommend- will definitely use Nicole again!”

About: I have been an avid walker and dog lover for years. I am good with dogs and love spending time with animals making them feel happy, loved, and tired out after a long walk!! Living in Boise and working remotely offers me immense flexibility. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine through structured walks, playtime, and dedicated attention slots. My schedule allows me to adapt to a dog's specific needs, ensuring consistent care throughout the day and week, whether it's midday potty breaks or extended outdoor adventures. My approach to pet care, whether in my home or a client's, is built on a foundation of safety and trust. For in-home care, I conduct a thorough home assessment to identify any potential hazards. When caring for pets in their own homes, I meticulously follow client instructions, maintaining their routines and environment. My deep awareness of surroundings means I'm constantly monitoring the pet, the environment, and potential risks, prioritizing their well-being above all else. For walks, I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid busy areas if preferred, and always carry water and first-aid essentials. Building trust with both the pet and owner is paramount, achieved through clear communication and consistent, reliable care.

About: I love dogs and I know that most dogs are happiest with their families. I do everything I can to help guest pups integrate into our little dog pack and feel at home while their families are away. I’ve been dogsitting for quite some time now and have experienced all shapes and sizes. I love them all and enjoy getting to know their inner personalities and puzzling out what makes them content. We strive to have so much fun that the dogs are too tired to feel too sad. About our family/home: my wife and I both work from home and have flexibility to care for pups during the day. We have a fenced yard with a dog door and are close to the river, the foothills, a friendly dog park, and a quiet neighborhood for walking. River, 8, is a retriever mix who loves hikes in the foothills and the occasional game of chase or wrestle, but is pretty mellow at home. Theo, 1, is a golden retriever who loves all dogs and people. Both dogs have lot of experience playing with other dogs and hosting dogs in their home. We typically only take dogs from one household at a time unless we have indication that the dogs will get along well. We’ve also found that we all do best if a guest dog has a warmup period. Therefore, any dogs looking for a stay longer than 48 hours will be asked to do a trial run beforehand (a day of daycare or a night of boarding). This helps us ensure a peaceful and safe environment for all dogs and has the added benefit of helping a dog feel more comfortable when they return to a familiar place for their longer stay. Because we recently added a new puppy to our home, we are more selective than normal in which dogs we can board. Dogs with a history of aggression, excessive barking, or other behavior problems are not a good fit at this time. We do offer house-sitting on a limited basis. If you have a uniquely challenging dog or specific circumstances, reach out and we will see if we can make something work! We look forward to getting to know you and your dog. My partner and I both work from home, so we have a lot of flexibility. Dog needs come first in our home and we are happy to take work breaks to play or exercise. We have a fully fenced backyard with a dog-door. We live two blocks from a park that is great for fetch. Our neighborhood is great for walks.

“Stephanie was so good with my husky/lab mix! She is a complete sweetheart and a professional that goes so far above and beyond your expectations. She’s simply amazing!”

“Elyse was so wonderful with our pup! It made leaving him for the day so much easier. She came at the perfect times to feed and walk him. We loved the pics she sent and notes about each visit.”

“Adrianna is a rockstar! She checks in and out of every check in to let you know when she’s there. She’s always communicates how the visit went and sends pictures. She is prompt on responding and loved my two doggies so well!”

“Brooke is absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to do the extra little things to make sure our dogs were happy while we were away. Immediately after meeting Brooke for the first time it was clear that she does this because of her genuine love for animals. She wouldn't just do what was expected and make sure they were fed, but she would actually express to us how the dogs emotions seemed that day and if she thought they were missing us or feeling a certain way, she would have something special up her sleeve for the dogs and it made our hearts melt. It isn't easy leaving our loved dogs at home, but Brooke brings us so much comfort knowing that our dogs are getting 5 star treatment. We can't thank you enough Brooke. The next time we need to leave our pets at home we will definitely be looking for Brooke first. Highly recommended!”

About: Healthcare worker looking for some pet love! I started dog-sitting on Rover in 2015! Took a few years off and moved states, but back in action because I don't have a dog right now, and want one, but don't have a schedule that allows me to give consistent attention. I have 3-day weekends, so Sun-Mon-Tues I can spend pretty much all day with your best friend, but Weds, Thurs, & Sat I'm pretty booked up. I will have lots of time over the holidays this year (24-25) so I'd love to have a dog at home, or house-sit at yours! Can also drop in on cats in the North End. I currently have 1 cat, so your dog needs to be cat-savvy to come over to stay, or I can watch in your home; cat care in your home only. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs my whole life! My first dog was an Australian Shepherd and since then I've had a rottweiler/lab, a boxer/aussie, a greyhound/chesapeake, pit/lab and have tons more in the family, great danes, dachshund, german shepherd, border collie, visla, etc! I’ve also fostered for rescues, dogs and beyond. My experience administering medication I work in healthcare, so I'm very comfortable with medications, therapy, injuries, and staying calm in an emergency. I'm not a vet, so can't give advice, but I'm highly competent in care! I have a flexible schedule with 6-hour workdays - plenty of time to spend with your best friend! I go in late, get home early, and love to walk around the North End or foothills. Pets hang out with me most of the time in my home. I work from home 2 days a week, and have 3-day weekends, so only 2 days in the office (ask for schedule if needed). Pets are allowed on the couch, and I have a fully fenced yard for potty breaks.

“Deb is outstanding! She cares for my pup as if they were her own and is Ultra communicative. Lots of pics and detailed reports of the day! Highly recommended...but only for times when I don't need her! Lol”

About: Having grown up with a variety of pets myself (growing up sort of on a farm in the country), I have over 20 years of dedication pet care experience. I have also had 10 years of experience pet sitting for cats/dogs/chickens/ you name it! From playful puppies to senior cats, I ensure all pets in my care feel loved and safe. Whether I am administering detailed medical regiments or following specialized diets, I take care to deliver the best service to owners and families while they are away from their four-legged family members. I am playful, fun, gentle, and nurturing. My approach combines plenty of walks, cuddles, and play time! I work full time but am finished with my work day on Wednesdays and Fridays by 3pm, and Tuesdays by 4pm. I am available weekends and love being active with pets who love to walk/run or chill at home with pets with lower energy. I make sure to keep to a pet’s routine when you are away as it can be stressful for them to not have their primary person there! I adapt to their schedule. I follow their lead: if they are feeling anxious or aloof I never force myself because I want to ensure they feel safe and cared for.

Ashlee H.

“Where to begin? It's almost unbelievable Ash does not have a dog of her own at this very moment...although circumstance is sure to have something to do with it at the moment, renting and putting herself through college. She has always had a deep compassion for dogs that I feel has grown over the past 10 years or so. I've seen her interact with several dogs, recently working on a little country farm setting in Bainbridge Island, WA. Regardless if the three were wet and stinky, (rains a lot there) lazy or overly rambunctious, she just seems to have a place in her heart for each one. She is very organized and active and is one of the most productive souls I know. She won't scrimp when it comes to your beloved pet and at the same time give it an overabundance of love and attention”

Deb R.Star Sitter

“Deb is outstanding! She cares for my pup as if they were her own and is Ultra communicative. Lots of pics and detailed reports of the day! Highly recommended...but only for times when I don't need her! Lol”

Christina D.
“Christy has been a godsend for us when we’ve gone away. She has house sat for us and our goofy bernadoodle numerous times and has gone over and above caring for him, exercising him, and generally loving on him. When she comes by he literally goes berserk with happiness. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough as a pet-sitter.”
