“My cat is just learning to be social with strangers, but he took very well to Marissa. She dropped in to meet Lucifer, and he spent most of the time flirting with her. Marissa took instructions well and did very well with Lucifer during her visits.”

“Lori was wonderful with my two cats. She is a complete professional. Great communication. I had no worries with her watching out for my two kitties.? I will use her again in the future.”

“Tina did an awesome job while we were away. Even when we had to extend our trip, she stepped right in. Our cat is happy and he obviously had great care while we were away! We've found our go-to sitter!”

“Sasha was great! My cats generally hide when someone is around that they do not know, but they were quite social with Sasha which meant I also received lots of pics! Everything was in good order, 10 out of 10!!!”

About: Hi! My name is Anna, and I have over 3 years of experience working as an assistant manager at a dog boarding facility. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have always had a strong love and understanding for animals. Through my work, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, including high energy and working dogs such as Police K9s. This experience has helped me become confident handling a wide variety of temperaments and behaviors while always prioritizing safety, patience, and consistency. I strive to make every pet feel comfortable, secure, and loved while they’re in my care, and I’m happy to provide regular photo updates and communication throughout my time with your pet, so you can feel confident they’re being well cared for. A little more about me personally, I moved to Idaho from Washington in May of 2025 and married my college sweetheart in August of 2025. “Kimberly did an excellent job! I hired her to do four 30-minute drop-in visits at my home over 1 1/2 days while I was out of town. I have two dogs. Through the Rover app, I received texts from her of when she arrived, when she left, and photos and comments of her visits. She played ball fetch with them and kept them very happy. I definitely will recommend Kimberly to my family, friends and neighbors.”

“Kimberly was super communicative and responsive, she was also friendly and her mom was willing to jump in and help out with my medically complex kitty when needed for the first couple of visits while my kitties got comfy and familiar which was a huge win for us all I think! I’m so grateful to them both for being willing to help me out and watch my boys, I’ll absolutely be asking to book again :) Thank you Kimberly!”

She also went above and beyond in regards to taking care of my home and helped me get a little more organized. I would absolutely recommend her to ANYONE who needs a petsitter, no questions asked!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Caldwell
We had Lori come check on our house while we were away after some bad weather moved through the area, and we are so grateful for her help. She was able to stop by the very same day I reached out and sent us tons of pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. Since we don’t have family in the area and had just moved into the neighborhood, it meant a lot to have someone we could trust to look everything over and make sure all was well. Lori was incredibly responsive, kind, and thorough throughout the entire process. Knowing our home was in good hands made a stressful situation feel so much more manageable. We will absolutely be using her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and trustworthy.

Madison took awesome care of my cat Luna. She was able to come on very short notice due to a family emergency and I am very grateful for that. She provided daily pics and updates and was very responsive. She came twice a day to feed Luna and give her oral medication too. I will definitely rebook with Madison again and I know Luna will be provided great care while I'm away.

Madison is a WONDERFUL pet sitter! The care, attention to detail, follow up, professionalism, and the love she has for her job and her furry clients are just a few shining examples of her superior work ethic. We were gone for 10 days and we could enjoy our trip knowing she was there taking care of and giving the best of care and medications to our four cats. We had a thorough interview before hiring her for the job, and everything is covered to insure the best quality care will be given to your pets and I assure you it is given. Not only are your pets given the best of care and companionship, but also the house was in pristine condition when we got home. All I can say is WOW, I am so totally impressed! ***** Five stars plus

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
