Availability
*As a part time college student some days I might be gone several hours at a time. I start school January 20th. We can discuss my schedule further to see if I would be a good match. I'm a college student available over summer break and holidays. I'm currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to spend. Even during the semester I can always do weekends and check ins with your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in my client's homes by making sure I know any medical history the pets may have, what regular vet and emergency vet they'd prefer if something were to happen, how they feed and water their pets, any medication I should administer, any exercise or enrichment I should provide, and space for pets I'm sure who are missing their owners.
Information Kaity R. would like to know about your pet
I really love to know any medical conditions before hand. Does your pet ever limp? Does your pet have any strange lumps or bumps? Any anxiety or stress you know of? This way if I notice something off, I can know whether they need to go to a vet or not. I also love to be prepared for worst case scenarios, so any emergency contacts are super helpful.
A typical day
My go-to activity is force free trick training. It's a great way to bond with an unknown animal, build trust, provide exercise, and provide stimulating enrichment to keep their minds busy. However, I will always see what activities the owner prefers whether it's walking, playing, or providing an enrichment toy.

Pet care experience
*As a part time college student some days I might be gone several hours at a time. My schedule (excluding driving time) is as follows: Monday: 9:00 am - 10:45 am Tuesday: 9:00 am - 11:45 am Wednesday: 9:00 am - 10:45 am Classes start Jan 20, 2026. We can discuss my schedule further to see if I could be a good fit. I love pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking when I'm not focusing on school. I also volunteer at the local zoo in my spare time to help spread awareness of their conservation efforts through education by taking out ambassador animals, taking out biofacts, running animal encounters, working directly with keepers, and preparing animal diets. I have 3 pets of my own; 1 dog & 2 birds. I have my 10 year old Husky and Shar Pei mix named Porsha, a Blue Crowned Conure named Zuri, and a Yellow-collared Lovebird named Juno. All 3 are trick trained and working toward their titles through Do More With Your Dog.
Reviews

Kaity did a great job taking care of our dogs and cat. They were happy and healthy when we got back from our trip. The pictures were especially appreciated. Thank you Kaity!

Kaity was great and the dogs warmed up to her quickly.

Kaity did a very good job with the dog.

Kaity was great with our pets and home! Our deaf shy dog was relaxed when we came home and the house was spotless.
