Kaity can care for
Availability
I am a college student working toward my degree online, so I'll have plenty of time to spend with pets as needed. I love doing several walks or drop ins per day, but I can also accommodate for those special pups or kitties who might need a little more time and care.

About Kaity R.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in my client's homes by making sure I know any medical history the pets may have, what regular vet and emergency vet they'd prefer if something were to happen, how they feed and water their pets, any medication I should administer, any exercise or enrichment I should provide, and space for pets I'm sure who are missing their owners.
Information Kaity R. would like to know about your pet
I really love to know any medical conditions before hand. Does your pet ever limp? Does your pet have any strange lumps or bumps? Any anxiety or stress you know of? This way if I notice something off, I can know whether they need to go to a vet or not. I also love to be prepared for worst case scenarios, so any emergency contacts are super helpful.
A typical day
My go-to activity is force free trick training. It's a great way to bond with an unknown animal, build trust, provide exercise, and provide stimulating enrichment to keep their minds busy. However, I will always see what activities the owner prefers whether it's walking, playing, or providing an enrichment toy.

Pet care experience
*I often volunteer and have times I can't block out or show on my calendar. We can discuss my schedule further to see if I could be a good fit. I love pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking when I'm not focusing on school. I also volunteer at the local zoo in my spare time to help spread awareness of their conservation efforts through education by taking out ambassador animals, taking out biofacts, running animal encounters, working directly with keepers, and preparing animal diets. I have 3 pets of my own; 1 dog & 2 birds. I have my 10 year old Husky and Shar Pei mix named Porsha, a Blue Crowned Conure named Zuri, and a Yellow-collared Lovebird named Juno. All 3 are trick trained and working toward their titles through Do More With Your Dog. They are cared for while I'm gone, so I can focus my attention on the pets I'm caring for in the moment.

Kaity is dependable and a great communicator. Our pets love her and she always leaves the house clean and tidy. Would highly recommend!
Kitty loved Kaity and Kaity took excellent care of our home and Kitty while we traveled. We plan on using Kaity when ever we travel and are ready to schedule her for our next trip.
